It takes so long to start and it kind of boring.

The show itself is fine but why did I sing up for the subscriber edition if there’s still going to be ads?

This is a great show with good interviews. I don’t like to just hear about how someone got killed. The writers Jim interviews are concerned with why criminals do what they do and why it matters to all of us. Thank you Jim. I am really glad you brought this show back!!

I really enjoy this podcast. As, you get to learn quite a bit. It’s not just gruesome retelling of events. Thank you.

Jim has such a soothing voice and every show is enjoyable and relaxing to listen to no matter the content. i love Jim’s podcasts because they’re easy to listen to, fact based when applicable, and never political! I have a soft spot for this podcast in particular, Crime Scene, as it is so different from all of the other true crime podcasts. I love being able to hear directly from the author and get a feel for the material without spoiling the book. Jim is the perfect interviewer- he never gets in the way of the subject and every person he interviews seems like they have a friendship with and/or a healthy respect for Jim and that is so refreshing! You can tell Jim and has a real passion for podcasting and I hope to listen to thousands of more episodes of any of his podcasts for many years to come.

If you want delve deeper into crime and the criminal mind, this is the podcast for you. So many amazing quests that are experts in their fields. I have learned so much by listening to these amazing guests. I understand so much more when listening to other crime podcasts what really is happening in all aspects of the cases.

Jim Harold is a true professional! His interviewing skills are fantastic. This show is can be even more creepy than his Paranormal Podcast or the Campfire. Jim handles scary and true topics with care and empathy, just trying to help understand the darkest side of human nature. Give it a listen. You won’t be disappointed.

Anything Jim Harold presents or produces is always top-notch. I’m so happy he decided to reinvigorate his Crime Scene podcast. I am sure to be an avid listener. I’m adding to my original review in the hope of attracting more listeners to this podcast! If you’re like me I listen to several true crime podcasts. Between the ones that are really just comedy shows with tipsy hosts cracking each other up to the other extreme of gloomy seriousness and jargon only a detective or coroner would understand, Crime Scene falls neatly, but shines, in the middle of the spectrum. Especially if you began your True Crime journey reading true crime books before podcasts came along. Jim interviews some of the most fascinating authors, often experts in their subjects, about some of the most perplexing cases of crime and human behavior. As always, in a respectful manner. I’m always much better informed on any topic covered in this podcast. Please listen.

Ok first the good ; Jim Harold has an excellent voice . The episodes are well done , and cut to t)4 chase . No “witty banter between a couple” making light of death and crime . However ,, so far I’ve tried 3 episodes and all have interviews with someone who calls in , with bad sound quality . Maybe there’s no way around this unless one happens to be lucky enough to have an office everyone can come to , so it’s probably not anyone’s fault , but I long for a day when a host can have interviews with better call-in quality . On another note , I do love the hosts voice . Will probably unsubscribe from this one and see if he has a podcast with Only him . If there Is one , I’d probably subscribe to that no matter what the content is about.

I have seen the other podcasts Jim has. I personally love his podcasts and wish that Apple Podcasts would give all of the episodes because I know there’s more than 13 podcasts.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I have actually learned from Jim Harold’s shows, not just this one but Paranormal Podcast as well. I love the way Jim does interviews. He asks really smart questions and gives ideas that seem to make the people he interviews really think about their answers. I love Jim Harold’s Crime Scene especially because I always come away with knowledge I didn’t have about true crime stories I thought I knew about. Thanks for your shows, Jim!

While this one hasn’t quite caught on as well as the other Jim Harold podcasts, it’s quite possibly the best of them! His interviews with authors, CS professionals, etc., are straightforward, concise and well done.

I listen to other Jim Harold podcasts, and although he considers this a "side" gig, I actually like it the best. He has intelligent guests and the subject matter is discussed with respect.

Jim is definitely one of the top podcasters in the world.

If you enjoy this genre, Jim Harold Crime Scenes is a must try! Mr. Harold was doing these shows for his faithful subscriber before this genre got so popular. While certainly going way beyond duty to make his plus club an incredible value, he is equally dedicated to his free listeners. He moved this to free for them to enjoy awhile back. Just finished In Plain Sight and the very troubling story of Belle Gunness, Hell’s Princess. Wow! I love all of Mr. Harold’s shows. As much as well thought out subject matter, content and guest, the way he conducts his interviews is a breath of fresh air. Pressing but not confrontational, respectful but keeps things going and easy listening. Beside his free content, he has an excellent plus club that has many topics and is very reasonable and actually an outstanding value. Honestly, anything the veteran podcaster presents is superb.

If Jim Harold is reading this keep up the good work!

I really enjoy listening to and learning about true crime stories, so this podcast was made just for me. I learned about this podcast from listening to Jim’s paranormal podcast(s). BTW, I’m subscribed to all 3 of his podcasts and if your on the fence about listening, just jump on over and join the cookout, lol. Last week, Jim had a Pulitzer Prize winner on the show, and all of his guests are excellent authors and writers with great stories to tell. It’s a shame Jim doesn’t have more subscribers to this show, as it’s enjoyable, interesting and educational. #justsubscribe

I'm picky about true crime podcasts, because there are so many out there. But because Jim is a veteran podcaster, this one is professional, full of interesting facts, and the perfect length! I've listened to podcasts that have a "staff" of production people and they aren't as good as this. It's all in the content, and Jim's content is always 5 STARS! Thanks, Jim Harold!

Just started listening last night and i've been listening as much as I can. Love the different topics and the way they're presented!

Listen to Jim's podcast on Jonestown, It's riveting and kepy me listining to the whole way through. The Acid King episode is really good to. I love the Crime Scene!

Another strong interview, but the author is rather clueless regarding the physics and mechanics of a knife wound. The boy doing the stabbing was not slashing or trying to hurt his "friend", but had to have the hilt pushing on his palm in a strike meant to kill. Also, why was such a "good boy" carrying such a knife to begin with?

Love this show, I have long drive to work and enjoy listening to this podcast, interesting subjects. Thank you Jim.

i have been i jim harold fan for year. i never miss a podcast from camp fire or parinormal podcast. this is a great addition to the free jim harold podcasts. i have alredy picked up a couple of the books reveiwed and i look forward to new shows. great job jim.

Woohoo! You are all in for a real treat, now that Jim is making this one of his free podcasts! Jim is a gifted interviewer who draws out the most interesting stories from every guest on the program. So many amazing shows on this feed! Some of my favorite topics have been: Albert Fish, the Murder Castle and H.H. Holmes, Marjorie Orbin, Jodie Arias, and so many more... I love this podcast and if you are interested in true crime, so will you!

Jim Harold is a wonderful show host. He picks topics on this genre that makes you really want to listen too. He provides excellent guests that know about their topic and it is a quick show. All of them are educational, fact finding and entertaining to listen too. One of those shows that you will clamour for more and more.

If you love jim's paranormal and camp fire podcasts, you need to add this. Jim this time is exploring crime and what make them trick. Jim is superstar of the podcast and open and friendly enough to reach out too.

Jim has some very interesting and diverse subjects in this true crime podcast. He's a great interviewer. I especially like his impartial approach. He's able to ask great questions without being pushy or obnoxious as seems to be the method these days. I like his respectful approach.

Any podcast by Jim Harold is worth a listen. He tells a story like no other, he's likable and a great interviewer! I subscribe to all of his and I always have the most fascinating stuff to listen to.
