IllustratedreadsGreat book recs!Such a great podcast! I love hearing from the host and authors. The books they talk about are always interesting and I love the personalities of everyone participating. I especially love the host, Megan, and find her interviews to be really fun and insightful.

jessetlaAmazing! It’s a great way to stay on top of the latest books!

reyx____Such promiseI JUST made it through an episode with a favorite writer, in spite of the host. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD suppress the forced, nervous laughter. You are bigger than that.

Meta peletDisappointingSuch interesting books and authors but I’ve stopped listening because of the woman interviewer. Her frequent, loud laughter seems forced and it’s disruptive and intrusive. And like many podcast interviewers, she talks too much. If she would generally tone down about 20% I’d be a loyal listener.

EsterdotterGreat series, but...A great variety of interesting guests, but Kirkus needs to listen to the episodes. Hysterical laughter, in inappropriate places, is just annoying.

peterackI Love Books, I Love Fully Booked!`A good podcast. The hosts are not pretentious and they ask intellegent questions of authors regarding the latter's books, processes, lives, etc. There is usually space near the conclusion of the podcast where they talk about "hits and misses" for the week and/or answering listener's question. One has to wade through some laughable, predictable “woke” speak (one reviewer will always life works on colonized transgendered lesbians who identify as a person of color” - or close to it). It’s still worth the wading for the book recommendations as well as the laughs. The podcast helps me find even more good books, and undiscovered for me, authors to read.

incognito82Terrible audio qualityI am listening to Patricia Wiltshire episode. My goodness. Is this English woman talking to a phone in an underground tunnel? I can’t stand it.

PatandGenaGreat Guest/Negative Political Ad JarringI was quite excited to hear DeRay McKesson, a vocal black progressive speaker , author and leader in our culture. However, I was taken aback by the negative tone deaf, disrespectful anti Delgado political ad promo that aired just before the interview began. To be clear, Delgado (D) is a progressive black man running for Congress in upstate NY against John Faso (R), a white, conservative, hateful Trumper...the embodiment of a candidate that DeRay McKesson, and his listeners abhor. If you like DeRay’s message, please promote candidates like Delgado and VOTE in November!🗳

JustEmilyCOut of nowhere. So goodThis podcast seem to come out of no where for me. I LOVE it. Insightful and best of all short interviews. Otherwise it's just fun book discussion. I especially love that they're willing to talk about books to pass on. I love praising books but we need to know what to skip. Keep up the good work!

Angry Herosuper informativeRather enjoyed the insight here on new books. Plus the hosts have a budding on-air rapport that works for me.
