-

-
2244356745I don't want to hearAn ad begging me to move abortions. Do better 48 hours. Planned parenthood is evil.

1234ninga1234Post-Mortem Ruined itI like the regular podcast which is the one I actually subscribed to. At some point they added follow up discussion episodes where all the reporters and people involved just give their opinions. It’s dumb and I have to manually remove every one of them from the queue/up next, etc. feeds. This is incredibly annoying because I always wear my headphones and don’t always have my phone near me. I’m usually listening while doing something that requires me to stop, wash my hands, find my phone, etc. just to remove it because I don’t want to spend the next 30 minutes listening to something I can’t unsubscribe from. When post mortem episodes are removed from the actual show feed I’ll resubscribe.

this show used to be goodLiberal bias garbageSnobby liberals jerking each other off. Typical of mainstream media.
-
Bernie bro foreverThe voiceAny of the episodes or ads with Erin’s voice cause me physical and mental anguish. I physically can’t handle it and I feel bad because I want to hear the episodes but it’s torture when I hear Erin talking
-
ict71Good stories too many adsThe ads are annoying. I don’t mind one maybe two at the most but this is way too much. Each ad break has several ads so you end up hearing so much extra junk. No thanks. I’ll pass.
-
Chuck201212Awful music and bad host voicesThe music is awful and distracting, the episodes featuring Erin Moriarty are unlistenable, and why is there often what seems like a second host who comments only infrequently during most episodes? Copy Dateline.
-
pauln483Too many repeats!I love the show but the repeats are really annoying.
-
Toot56vocal fryI wanted to listen to the Black Swan episode but the Vanity Fair contributor’s vocal fry was like nails on chalkboard. When are young people going to drop this annoying affectation?
-
sportyspice11Repetitive and over the top musicMany repeat cases and the background music is ridiculously loud and makes it difficult to hear people speaking. Imagine having a conversation in the same room as someone playing the drums. This podcast is marginally better than that scenario. I only listen when I’ve run out of other podcasts to listen to, and often not even then. People keep complaining about it in the reviews but apparently no one’s listening.
-
dani.daniRepeat cases, promos for bad shows Midnight OrderIt’s not like there aren’t enough unsolved murder cases out there that need public attention, why so many repeats? And have you actually listened to the Midnight Order hosts’ obnoxious “valley girl” vocal fry? They sound like annoying bimbos, idk who can stand listening to that.

TLummerRate and reviewEnjoy listening to the podcast I won’t say that I love it because sad Lane I started from the beginning and I have came across the same episode at least five times I had to go back and look and make sure that I had it on unplayed episodes. it wouldn’t bother me so much except for I listen when I ride or while I’m doing something that I have to either listen to the repeated episode for the time stop what I’m doing to Market is played
-
kylacoodyI can’t take it!The distracting addition of jazz music throughout the ENTIRE podcast episode makes it intolerable for me.
-
psweenzKnockoff DatelinePretty good stories, but it drives me absolutely nuts that dateline and 48 hours just post the same stories with “slightly” different interviews and act like it’s brand new. They are both guilty, not pointing fingers here. There are tons of murders- can’t you find an original story?
-
Snow 🦊 WhiteAmazingamazing podcast🤘🏽🫶🏽

L.Gresh_5LOVEone of my favorite podcasts!
-
Real12thWomanMusic needs to changeLike others have said, the music is too loud. It doesn’t hit the same like Dateline or 20/20. They need to improve the music and turn it down. It’s so outdated.
-
Pual.To many adsGood podcast but all the ads ruin it, to many ads
-
chardun20Why do interviewsI like to hear facts, not the opinions of the hosts. Why do interviews if you already formed an opinion about your questions?
-
maggardtGreat show but the background music on older episodes needs to goGreat show and I would give 5 stars, but the background music on older episodes needs to go. It is so distracting and loud.
-
solveig valkonenSovalkonenYou should not call fourteen days year old girls women!
-
Burnt_CookiesOne of my favorite showsThis is one of the best shows, and I love binging this show on long car rides.
-
Ms.G8WhyWhy is every episode someone getting r@p*d?? And the reenactments???? Honestly I cannot listen to this channel anymore
-
rickdossCan’tI can’t listen to a pod that allows ads like dove soap that think America hates black people. It’s stupid to think that landlords won’t rent to people based on their hair style. So asinine.
-
noneyabiz333Grating voiceI enjoy the stories but cannot stand the sound or Erin Moriarty’s voice. It makes me want to stick chopsticks in my ears. PLEASE PLEASE get her voice off the podcast. It’s horrendous.
-
Vilongan:lThe music just ruins it
-
morbidreaderMid levelI come when I run out of new episodes of my favorite shows.. I do love the reporting, but the music is loud and doesn’t coincide with the moment well.
-
windywoo8Background soundsWhat’s with all the horrible background music and sounds. It’s terrible and interferes with the story.
-
Bummed..☹️Stories are interesting but..the music is too loud and too annoying. Think I’ll just delete this show..
-
KristaKennedyMusic ruins itTurning off this podcast because the music is stupid
-
Champagne SocialistThe Baby is always a problem?I’m all in with the story, but I’m tired of these ignorant uneducated people saying such dumb things as “everyone knows the baby of the family is always a problem” , what a ridiculous blanket statement.
-
MizLizWRailroad Killer storyThis is a horrifying crime. The song you put under this episode is creepy and inappropriate.
-
warmgingersnapsWay too overly produced! The music, sound bites, and background sounds completely diminish the overall experience. Dateline is the benchmark for me when it to comes to true crime reporting.
-
myreviews8Great stories ruined by ads and awful theme musicThe way too frequent ads has become so annoying I don’t want to listen to what should be a great podcast. Also the theme music has always made me grit my teeth.
-
fy5kx,ruute7ihvgI almost shut it off- Disingenuous music playing throughout!!!!!So devastating and so inspiring. What courage and strength. I may stop listening to any episodes that have the music running through it. It is very annoying and takes away from the story of the survivor telling her story. The music seems disingenuous.
-
CelticrcoLive to tellStory was interesting , however the constant inappropriate music was distracting and way to loud. The music did not enhance the drama of this story, it felt like a cheap horror movie.
-
PookieH00d1357MusicI love most of the content… the added music is so annoying and adds nothing …
-
byebye20/20Live To TellI love listening to 48 hrs podcasts and look forward to each episode. The music and sound effects played throughout this episode ruined it for me. I wanted to hear the survivor’s story, however had to turn it off because the music was so annoying. If I wanted to listen to music I would be listening to music instead of podcasts. Very disappointed!
-
lizzyprengPlease change your approach to music/sound effectsI’m listening to Live to Tell: The Railroad killer You guys NEED to approach the music differently. The woman who keeps singing “ahhhhhh” & played over and over is super annoying. The dramatic music is so over the top, you don’t need to make it so theatrical. Your podcast is fine but the music is cringey.
-
Read the fine print9383848848Sound EffectsRailroad killer had obnoxious singing.
-
vermicellimichelliStop the stupid music in the backgroundI can't listen to this podcast anymore. I tried to listen to the story about the girl and her friend who were attacked on the railroad, and the etheral, ghostly music in the background was so distracting and disrespectful of the victim telling her story. They do this all the time in their podcasts. Stop, already!
-
JCheeFire the editorsThe stories are compelling, but the editing and sound are atrocious.
-
Leahmb78Distracting musicThe stories and content is good but the loud unrelated music is very distracting. It almost seems disrespectful to the survivors telling their stories.
-
Ericrouzer02Strang music and soundsWhy wreak these peoples story’s. The last lived episode is terrible. So much random noises and singing that doesn’t fit in. Too bad because these people’s story’s need to be heard. But I can’t hear it here.
-
atlanticusSound effects…Why the unnecessary sound effects and music? Not only does it distract from the story, it’s also at a volume that makes it even more of a nuisance. Not to mention the fact that it’s completely corny and even cringey. The latest episode, RR Killer, is one of the most egregious examples of this. I gave up after 10 minutes of screeching violin music completely overriding the speaker.
-
michkatwlDetective’s wifeAs a jurist would have had my doubts about his guilt if he had said his wife was upset about the affair put a gun to her head to exemplify her distress and it accidentally went off instead of suggesting she had a suicidal disposition which doesn’t seem to be the case. Unfortunate they didn’t test her hair for gun residue. Definitely a hard call case.
-
cashwhpBird cawingStop with all the horrible sound effects. That’s why the rating went down.
-
EthAlRyMomSound effectsSeems some episodes have a lot of accessory sounds. It is a little over done at times. For example Tacoma Confidential- why the ransoms saxophone? And the bird cawing noise? But if you can get past that the stories are interesting and easy to follow.
