Don’t violence white ( ie “ Jewish”) women by calling your stupid ideas or “ shows” our names. Call your shows all the queer names not in our Bible, like “ shanikqua” or “Marquise” “ Mohamed” instead of “Karen” or “Nancy” which are beautiful older traditional names for women and it’s NOT cute or funny to “ contribute” by hate. Your “ show” was not worth it or nice when you are so antisemetic and nasty toward a certain group! My delightful black neighbor Karen a mother, a nurse, a wife could not have been happy when you chose as a “ community” to insinuate that the name “ Karen” stood for a racist white woman. Just like your “ community” and you decided to call your show about LGBTQ? The name “ Nancy” to reinforce the idea that it is a name to mean a bigoted White Jewish woman who would be antagonistic to gays. Glad your “hate cast” is OOB. Please Change the name as long as you are running the reruns.

Binged all the episodes in the entire series well after it was defunct. Legit cried when Kathy said “ Nancy was here”. This show was so very good at what it did. Made me rethink my own place in the queer community and how important it is to take up space and make yourself known.

These two are smart, funny, interesting, relatable... so much LOVE

i hope this show is getting museum preserved somewhere- it is a masterpiece!!!

As a cis-woman of 59 years I so appreciate this podcast for enlightening me. First steps to learning to be an ally is learning about each other’s experiences and feelings. I’m so sorry I took you for granted! Wish you could keep making this loving, informative, and life-affirming podcast for many more episodes.

This is a great podcast, and I hope enough people listen to the whole catalog and demand that it come back. So good.

I cannot believe this has not been renewed. There are so few queer voices in ‘professional’ podcasting, esp BIPOC. Of course it won’t have the highest listener numbers but that is NOT what this is about. The middle of a pandemic causing isolation is the WORST time to cancel this. There are so few queer shows inclusive of the over-30 queer community and so few that educate both queer and straight people without patronizing. Tobin and Kathy - thank you so much for EVERYTHING, especially all the personal things you shared. You helped me and cheered me up beyond measure. Xo

Thinking so much about how this show advocated for the people I love. It was the only reason for my monthly donation, and I really miss it.

They should not have cancelled the show! I’m hearing that there’s other lgbtq+ podcasts out there, but being picked up by WNYC studios meant something. The kind of programming you provided built bridges and welcomed learning for the uninitiated audience. This podcast is needed, the perspective is needed, and it’s incredibly frustrating to hear that it’s ending. Tobin and Kathy, I have been with you the whole way, and you should be so proud. You did an amazing job. The show stood out amongst lots of other high quality podcasts that I listen to, and I never missed an episode.

WNYC, please, please renew Nancy. This show is my absolute favorite podcast, and is the only well produced podcast about queer issues I know of. I love Kathy and Tobin and they deserve so much better than this. I can’t believe this show has been cancelled. I love this podcast so much! It truly strikes the perfect balance between serious, funny, and personal. The hosts are lovely, both individually and as a duo. I'll miss the way it has enriched my life over the past years.

I’m devastated that Nancy has been renewed!

I just heard that Nancy isn’t going to ve renewed for another season and dang that makes me sad. I’ve been listening for years now and I’ve come to rely on Kathy and Tobin for a goofy, cheerful boost of queer positivity in my life. There will be other queer podcasts but Nancy will always have a special place in my heart.

I literally listened to every episode available in a week. Loved it. Learned so much not only about queerness but gender and race issues as well in an entertaining way. My only complaint is where is season 1 episode 1-7. First available episode is season 1 episode 8?? I could have 7 more to listen to still.

I learn so much and laugh and cry. My son came out as Bi a couple of years ago but he doesn’t often want to talk about personal stuff. I want to know more about his (and his partner’s) community, experiences and culture and this has been a place I can find all that. Having that background info helps make our conversations easier and more meaningful. Thank you! Keep up the great work!

As someone who is still in the process of coming out to the world, I have found this podcast to be a great help in my life. A fellow queer friend of mine showed me the podcast when we first met, and after I shared my feelings and potential thoughts about coming out. I now listen religiously, and don’t see myself falling behind in the episodes. An important thing this podcast showed me is that I didn’t have to start my whole life over when I started coming out. One thing I am looking forward to is continuing to build my Gaggle! 😃 Kathy and Tobin, you’re both very friendly, funny, and amazing to listen to. You guys are the supportive friends that many people may not have. I love the podcast and thank you both for creating it!
