    Liven it up!
Sleepiest host ever. He sounds like he should be on a sleep podcast. Callie and Mayo have good insights, but the pace is lethargic. Makes the listen a slog often. Pick the energy up, guys.

Good content but where is the production?
I like to listen to this show but I feel like the billionaire MLB owners could find enough change in their couch cushions to pay someto make sure listeners can actually hear the hosts every episode.

Love the Content; Slight Audio Issues
I really enjoybthe prsopect talk and haven't really found anything to itch this niche elsewhere. Enjoy the insight drom John and Jim; only issue is sometimes the audio quality is low or off, which holds it back from 5-stars for me, but I really, really enjoy the content

I love the podcast! You all do a very good job. But please someone tell Callis that it’s not “ops” its “O-P-S”. No one in the game pronounces it as “ops”.

    Pitchers specifically Peyton Battenfield
This young man was being developed by the Tampa organization and suddenly the Guardians gave up two AAA pitchers for him and brought him up to pitch five games without any support from the offense and they all came up as losses even though his numbers weren’t that bad. He actually struck out Aaron Judge and several other Yankees. I know this young man personally he is truly all American personality. You’ll find nothing about him that is flawed. He has a wife had a baby. He was up-and-coming, and all the sudden he gets injured with the Guardians and they release him and trade them off to the Mets, which in my opinion the worst development organization there ever was. They have no idea what to do with the players and they ended up spending millions last year on pitchers and then dumping them off and now take this young man and just dumped him. I am so upset about this, if he would’ve stayed with the Tampa Bay organization he would have developed into one of their better pitchers. He’s from a small Oklahoma town called Verdigris. He and his brother both were All State pitchers that got scholarships to Oklahoma State University, and they both were drafted and got respectable bonuses. I say shame on the Mets and the Guardians-and the way they treated him.

    You Boys OK?
March 19, 2024, you talked about Yankees, prospects. You hate the Yankees. Talk around the clubhouses has always been that it went back to Ole’Man George refusing to pay your “maintenance fees” prior to releasing your prospects list all those years back. Word was, since the Ole’ Man didn’t pay, you had nothing ever to say about his minor leaguers. Probably just talk or, in your cases, no talk.

    Yeah
Hi Jim Callis and Jonathan Mayo! My name is Ethan Altomare. Thanks to 2020, I have been following the MLB draft and I was looking at the list draftees for this year and I can’t even believe how many players are being born in the 2000s. I was born in 2005 and I saw that a lot of draftees are around my age! Geez. Please tell all of the draftees good luck for me. Play Ball! Thanks, Ethan Altomare

    Informative
As a student of baseball and also a fan of the Orioles, this podcast is particularly interesting to listen to. Jim Callis and Jonathan Mayo are very insightful on the prospects and how the clubs develop their talent. Jason Ratliffe also gets an “A” as host. Keeps it moving and adds some of his own knowledge to the mix. Well done fellas.

    great info, terrible host
the discussions about prospects are insightful and well considered. however, the host is so unprepared and bumbling, it slows down and confuses the discussion. host should simply prepare the outline and move us through it efficiently. way too many umms and ahhs and just dead silence or unneeded digressions.

    Jonathan and Jim
Jonathan’s obsession with favoring players of certain faith’s is a bit biased and absolutely obnoxious. This whole cast makes prospecting, something I love, incredibly boring. Zero energy. Waste of space hosts

    Excellent podcast
I love all things baseball but I love hearing about the stars of tomorrow, in large part due to the expertise of Jim and Jonathan. Their knowledge and opinions always make for an interesting listen. I tune in each week and love listening on my commutes. Keep up the good work!

    Great content

    Quarantine idea!
Make lists of some hits and misses on prospects you’ve had in the past. Can be as far back as you guys want. Name prospects that you were high on that proved you wrong and some that proved you right! I think everyone would enjoy that!!
  • Zebedee- father of sons
    Outstanding
One of my favorite Podcast for baseball. The guys all give great breakdowns and analysis for ratings and follow up during the season as well as an occasional interview. If you are not listening and you are a fan you shine.
