Used to be a listener all the way back during heartland…this is nothing like heartland. They’ve put out the exact same show for last two years, every week, and I hate to say I’ve stopped listening the last month or two. Sad to see it go, but it’s time

I’ve been a listener since the very beginning of the Pat McAfee show. Loved all the shows they had come out with sense. The Pod has become very underwhelming, repetitive, and not funny. They struggle without Todd McComas and Latham. I get there very busy now with everything Pat McAfee is doing, it just makes me sad because this used to be one of my favorite podcast. There’s not much effort into it anymore and seems they just put out episodes to keep listeners happy.

It seems like I can hear the difference in how much they care about making good comedic podcasts. The new episodes just really aren’t it, but I still regularly re-listen to old episodes because they are great

Love listening to them at work but definitely could use more episodes a week.

Funny content however, the screaming could be omitted and someone needs to teach Mitt to either clear his throat or take a drink of water once in a while

Movies are gay, telling in the mike is annoying, and the jokes are still the same tired ones you have heard over and over for years. Just end the show already.

Wish they did two or more episodes a week, but I’ll take once a week. Honestly it’s better than the Main show.

If there’s only 1 show per week, you’d think it would be over an hour at least. Show used to be a lot better. Feels like the guys have kind of phoned it in with The Pod. I know they are busy but this was a great thing, and just going through internet videos with next to no outside banter and conversation is borderline lazy

This show used to be great back in heartland days and 2.0 when Todd was still around. They don’t do any of the bits they used to do. They all try playing a dumb character now and just watch stupid videos and scream over each other. Once Todd Latham vibbs left it was the beginning of the downfall we’re seeing now

I use to love this show. I have been with it ever since their barstool days. All the different people that have come and left, stuck through it all. Yet as time has gone on, their laziness has become more and more apparent when it comes to the Pod versus the Pat McAfee show. The notes segment that they used to do with “phone, phone, phone, phone, phone, phone, phone, phone now tell me what’s inside your phone” used to kill me and showed the effort they put into making this show more fun and engaging. Sadly that has gone and now they just use the “Pod Fod” to fill air time. They went from 3 shows down to 2, promised that those 2 shows would be longer. Lie. Then they went down to 1 show a week and the lack of effort is still there, that 1 episode per week isnt incredibly longe either. This used to be a show that when it went out on the feed, I’d listen to it right away or wait for a time that I could Give it my full attention. I’ve stopped listening for the last 8 weeks, before that all I ever did was get angry because I’ve seen what a magical show this could be yet they hope themselves back. Maybe I’ve changed along with my perspective and the show is what it always was, but it doesn’t feel like that. To all the guys, Pat gave the lot of you an opportunity a lot of us would kill for, work for and with your friends. You used to show appreciation and a perspective that reflected that, but it seems you all have become fat cats who settle for the easy hunt.

They used to be good. Now it’s just movie/tv show reviews. I only listen if I listened to all my other podcasts an need something to fill the time

by far my favorite podcast. Been on the train since Heartland radio & 2.0. I understand the idea of reducing the show down to one, because of the work load. For many of us tho, for the people who’ve been around since the beginning. This was all we had left of somewhat the old days. A free flowing podcast that didn’t have to do everything with sports. we were here before the live show, before hammer dahn, before the Covid cowboy & here when they cared about the pod. Cowboys ain’t lazy tone.
