    What happened to this show?
This used to be my Phillies go to podcast. It is now unlistenable. I find myself counting the number of dudes and mans that Spencer drops each episode. It’s maddening
  • hollis thompson
Corey is a nerdy right wing nut job
Used to love Corey but he is woefully uninformed thank god there’s a ton of other Phillies pods out there
  • Shimmerjoy
    Great stuff
Rickey is great nows baseball a lot. The younger guy is int that sharp.

    Thank you for great season
Thanks for doing an instant reaction pod. Insightful and helped me commiserate with boom, then bust season.

    Used to be more important
I’ve listened for many years & I enjoyed it the most w/Ricky Bottalico. It seems that this pod isn’t a priority for NBC sports anymore. The hosts could be more analytical & interesting. The pod often seems late to the party & coupled with the revolving disappearing hosts, it can’t be a place where I get news & opinions in a timely way.
  • Monnnnmannnnm
    Depends on Host
Corey is good. Very knowledgeable and a good baseball mind. Just listened to one with a guy and girl which was basically a couple fans gushing about the team for 20 minutes without any content that is worth listening to. If I had a nickel for every time the guy said “for sure” I could buy a half a beer at CBP.

    Phillies Talk
I’ve been listening to this podcast since it was Corey and Jim S. I like it and find it to be informative. However, I’m not a fan of Spencer. He brings no value to the pod. He’s just a rah rah and his oral speaking silks are horrible. I learned in 6th grade not to keep saying “um” when speaking out loud. It’s annoying. When Corey’s not on, I end up not listening. If he doesn’t travel with the team, doesn’t do interviews and never played the game, then I qualify for that job as well.
  • Wow 🤩 so awesome and amazing
    Love it it’s so amazing
I’m just impressed by the podcast because I can’t find the game on the tv

Use to be awesome, but never on now.
This podcast use to be on of my favorites. It’s October 17th, the Phillies are playing Game 2 of the NLCS and there hasn’t been a new podcast since October 1st? Has gone downhill since Jim Salisbury left. Bummer…

As a lifelong Phillies fan I like your podcast (especially when Ricky is on). So where the heck have you been? We are about to end the Braves season and the last pod was Oct 1st? I realize that you are all probably busy but what gives??
  • peggyreavey
    Phillies rotation changes, etc
We love this podcast, but it was impossible to understand much of what Cory was saying on this one. Frustrating. As if he was broadcasting from inside a fish tank. Come up with a better solution, please.
  • Sonicandtails17
It was good, just you’ll see
I’ve heard a lot of podcasts, so I’ve seen better, but that doesn’t mean it’s 2 stars. But most podcasts stay on topic almost the whole time, and I don’t feel like it stayed on topic very well.
  • LeoThe4
    They know everything
This is my favorite Phillies podcast ever. The podcasters know just how to say everything about the Phillies in 15-35 minutes.

    Fan of Michael lorenzen
I just can’t believe that Michael lorenzen by the 6th inning me and my grandma started talking about it in the 8th inning and it’s sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo exiting

    Content Good; Too Few Episodes
Please, Corey - get a new broadcast partner soon. It’s March 31, one day after a very concerning Game 1, and the most recent episode posted is from March 24.

    Great Show Corey!
Thank you Corey for keeping it real and insightful. The best insights on the Phillies.

Know when to cut Jim S. off
Jim Salisbury has great insight into the Phillies' latest happenings but he is long-winded in his response to Corey's questions. I hear Corey's intro and first question to Jim and then I don't hear Corey's voice again until about 6 min later after Jim S. finally runs out of steam. Corey needs to politely cut Jim off when he starts to ramble and go off on tangents. There are times that Corey does try to intervene but Jim doesn't seem to hear him and continues to ramble. This happened on the latest pod (9/15/22) at the 8 min 30 sec mark. Corey wanted to back up his statement on Realmuto but Jim continued on with his remarks. And I want to echo what others have already said, please use some of those NBC Sports Philadelphia dollars and put some money into portable microphones so Jim can hook one up to his phone while on the road. Corey's mic at home needs an upgrade too.
  • MatyBram
    We need more, not less
Of this great podcast. Jim is a class act, but you’re going too easy on Nick C. Thanks to Corey for keeping it real as far as Castellanos’ performance at the plate this season—no sign of making any adjustments, he is still swinging at the same low and outside slider, either whiffing or hitting into a double play! Please forget egos and switch Castellanos and Bohm in the lineup!
  • DonnyC215_
    Jim is too much
I subscribed for a few episodes but I just can’t with Jim and his monotone rambles. Would have loved to hear more of Corey.
  • Romanhawk
    No positivity at all Corey?
15-3. MVP looks better than last year. By all means Corey, blow past all that and get to the bad news about Eflin ASAP. Perspective please.
  • Lorcan28
    Reuben Amaro Jr.
Please keep Reuben off the podcast. He is awful! I won’t even listen to episode with him.
  • LexiHoran143
First rule of podcasting… turn off your phone!
Jim, please! I know you’re not that tech savvy but you need to put your phone in another room when you podcast. I love the pod with you and Corey but the constant beeping and calls are distracting.
  • lutheranzephyr
    Concise Phillies Updates
I live 600+ miles from Philadelphia, so I can’t casually pick up Phillies news on TV or radio. This podcast is perfect - concise game analysis and news on the team. Only 4/5 because the audio quality often sounds like they’re recording under water rather than with decent or professional equipment. Other than that, it’s a good podcast that I listen to regularly.
  • drheel
    Best Phillies podcast
If you want real substance, this is the best podcast for a Phillies fan. Corey and Jim are terrific together - new and old school do mix! Love that they are going to to do daily shows too.
  • Lancebeaver
    Way to many ads !!
Love to listen to what the guys have to say but the ads are annoying !
  • tylerpatton88
    Love it but…
The long winded ads are edited in terribly, can’t stand it!!
  • InsertYetAnotherNicknameHere
    Who’s editing these?
Is there a reason why, within the first minute, is someone talking then, in mid-sentence, a two-minute commercial? I’d let it go if this was a one-shot, but this is a continually thing. Quit it; this is incredibly unprofessional.
  • J.yroc
    Good
More Corey and less of Jim’s rambling would make it better. Bring Ricky Bo back!
  • MATJR89
Mediocre analysis and too many ads
The analysis is okay, but it’s nothing special. The Good Phight is definitely better. Plus, there are too many ads for such a short podcast.
  • VitalPhillyFan
    5 stars
Best Phillies insight on a podcast. Great statistical knowledge from both Cory and Jim.
  • jbelaa
    Excellent info
6 stars if Ricky Bo was on every episode
  • HomerunRhys
    Excellent analysis
Love Corey’s fresh analytical perspectives and ability to quantify the logic of Phillies transactions and speculative moves. And always dig (and usually agree with) every Ricky rant. Also enjoy Jim’s experienced points of view, though it bothers me way more than it should that he always pronounces JT’s last name “RealMOODO.”
  • joed119
    Keep up the good work
I look forward to the new editions of this podcast as I live and die with the Phillies and I’m always looking for new info especially in the offseason. Corey and Jim do a nice job following the team and giving us insights into the latest news. Keep up the good work!
  • cant post bc of a nickname
    Name
Jim can’t pronounce Latin players names and it’s kinda funny/annoying

    Cardboard Fans
Corey... great podcast, love your insights & the way you stick to the topic unlike other Phillies podcasts. One request... need cardboard cutout of Ranting Ricky behind home plate for a game.

Go back to At the Yard
Podcast has good information. Great to hear everyone’s opinions, especially Ricky Bo. My biggest issue is the name change. At the Yard was a great name - Phillies Talk is bland.

    At the Yard Podcast
Love the show and the different dynamics brought by the various hosts. It is an absolute “must listen” as soon as it is released. Kudos to Ricky, Corey and Jim.
  • phillies_kiiiiiid
    Just a thought
Love ya Corey, but whenever you have Ricky Bo on, you turn into a yes man. Don’t be afraid to challenge a thought every once in a while. Keep up the good work.
  • hugh_the_borg
    Excellent analysis
Cory, Jim and Ricky contribute excellent analysis. I look forward to the podcasts every week.
  • Tim Bolich
    Well put together
Corey and Ricky Bo are a great team. Informative, interesting, and well organized. Corey is a wonderful host and driver of the pod and Ricky Bo provides really good analysis. They both know the Phillies and aren't just rambling and mailing it in. Jim is in tune with the team too and provides good insight when he's on. Would highly recommend this Phillies pod.
