nopoliticaladspleaseEvery episode is a treasureThe episode with Jordan was great. Norman never stopped learning.

bowlacherrySidekickWho is this sidekick? What are his qualifications? Sounds like a jackass

Scott22223Too politicalLots of respect for Norman but he and his sidekick make it a point to turn this into an anti-trump conversation too often. If the guest doesn’t take it there why don’t they just stick to the entertainment content. Just because someone likes this business doesn’t mean they have the same viewpoint - and they may include some of your guests too...

Hyper_blue_bunnyEasy ListeningMr. Norman has so much wisdom and is Charismatic too. I really have enjoyed listening to him and learning who he is. I would love for Camouflaged Sisters to be a guest on his podcast. Thank you for your service Sir.

akampferGood ConversationNorman Lear is pretty amazing. 95 years old and producing two TV shows plus doing this interview podcast every week. It’s well thought out, interesting stories told by famous people with no screaming. I highly recommend it.

Addicted to ACEMANANLove this guy and his side kickNorman....you are a legend and I love to listen to your insight and interviews. Why all the race talk? You keep saying "we need to have a conversation" but it only touches the edges. You have a legacy of embracing themes outside of the mainstream so please drop the cliche'. Jump in the with both feet and discuss the good, bad and ugly. Education, bigotry, culture, leadership, parenting, politicians and a community in self reflection. I do like that you don't Trump talk all the time but when you do it's also modest compared to most. Charles Barkley was that piece of hope on the subject. He is willing to put himself out there and speak on the good, bad and ugly. You don't have to have a certain pigment to be brave on this subject.

MSGMDMillennials need to listen to this podcastIn this impatient, pedal to the metal, transactional world, it rare to be able to still experience raconteurs who mix wit, wisdom and charm. Lear's still got it. Millennials grab a glass of favorite wine and listen and be inspired.

ListenedToYa1I love it all. Singing included. It's nice to hear people having so much fun. If Norman wants it, Norman should have it. I am really enjoying his insight and anecdotes. The guests are a bonus...but they really have been interesting too.

Ratings MagnateGonna Be GoodThis podcast is still in it's infancy but it's great so far and will get better. Norman Leer is the man, a legend. They have solid guests so far (the Amy Poehler one was fantastic) and it's not really just a straight up interview show. I'd definitely recommend it.

EmilieWCKeep singing! And keep telling the great stories!

THYMIUSSing away!Comedy, forgotten Jewish history & singing. Keep it coming! 😂
-
Cece.RiderLightweight.I was disgusted when 94 year-old Norman Lear couldn’t remember the story of Passover, only the most important Jewish holiday and the inspiration for many freedom fighters since, most notably Harriet Tubman and MLK Jr. It’s bad enough we have an idiot in the White House who does not know or appreciate history. I expected more from someone like Norman Lear.

tradloverI'm really looking forward to future episodes!I loved the podcast, but the sidekick was a bit annoying. His contributions were unnecessary and I didn't appreciate the way he kept interrupting Mr. Lear and Ms. Poehler. Otherwise, it was a wonderful discussion and I feel very lucky to have heard it -- especially the performance of the "All in the Family" theme song, which actually brought a few tears to my eyes.
-
Kaydee MontyNo more songs pleaseFirst of all, I loved the episode with Amy Poehler. It was fun to hear them all sing the All In The Family theme song. But after that they sing more songs. I Fast Forwarded through all of them. No Thank you, Please. I'm here for comedy and musings about each other's genius-but the singing-Nah. I'd listen to the radio or a podcast with musicians if I wanted that. Great listen otherwise!

aribeans8love it but...Why the folk music? Lets just have a conversational pod w Norman Lear. The other host seems out of place with all respect. I suggest that some of Lear's stories of the past as a producer and the shows themselves be woven into this podcast to add interest and to give us context for Lear in 2017. Its a great idea to have him do a pod, but what about obvious questions - Where is the producer of a groundbreaking show "All In The Family" decades later in the age of Trump? It doesnt have to be the main convo but it would sure interest people. Right now this pod had great potential but it is a Meh.
