Glad you’re back! Funny and inappropriate as always!
Pat delivers jokes and covers news in a completely unfiltered way, kind of like taking a time-machine to a ‘90s comedy club! Just funny, especially if you’re from NYC.

    Such a great show
    Pat Dixon delivers!

    Racism, Ignorant, Uneducated Remarks
Came for true crime but heard rambling & comments on black people making racism a bigger deal than what it really is, how racism isn’t a large factor in the criminal justice system, how certain government benefits are the reason for black people’s problems & certain blacks being career criminals so you can’t compare their repercussions to certain white criminals. Very ignorant, uneducated, & flippant remarks from the hosts.

    Is this a joke?
This is so awful and disrespectful that I don’t even want to believe that it’s real. This is absolute garbage and I hate that it got any of my time at all. It’s like a joke trying to be a stereotypical jerky right wing nut, but I guess it’s unfortunately real. Gross.

    NYPD Stroke Job
This is essentially a bunch of rockland county douches complaining about how “bad” the city is. This dude is such a stereotype.

    True Crime Comedy
It’s a new genre and my favorite podcast due to callin a “spade” a “spade” exposing political hypocrisy, all without any(?) commercials (poor Pat🤷🏼💰). BOTTOM LINE: We’re living in the Wild West. May as well have a chuckle before you’re gunned down by an “activist” at sundown.

    Love true crime, but…
This is just, I don’t know, on the wrong side of history? Distasteful? For example, a baby fell or a mom threw it out of a second story window. The first 60 seconds are about how the mom looked proper in her mugshot, how he’s “always wanted to catch a baby,” and then some comment that “then you get to keep the baby.” If you voted for Trump, this is probably your jam. If you care about humanity, probably not your thing.

    Severely Underrated
Nobody puts as much work, noir-y prose, or thought into a podcast as Pat Dixon. Old school professionalism mixed with bone dry wit of a 40s broadcaster.
  • Caralina4
    Pathetic.
Absolutely abhorrent...I had to turn this audio monstrosity off before I died embarrassment by proxy. I 100% agree with the person who called the host a racist boomer. The fact that he had a (retired?) cop on the episode I heard who was echoing the same hateful, misogynistic, racist alt-right views is disgusting; and they wonder why people refer to the police as pigs. These grandpas attempting to be edgy need to grow up and learn that this stuff isn’t humor. It’s just stupid.
  • DE-frazzled
    Rambling...all over the place.
Two idiots rambling! Not interesting...more feeble attempts at wit than telling anything that a same person could follow! Waste not your time!
  • actualchange
    Gross boomer
Language like this projects hate, violence and fuels our society’s divide. Mentally ill people looking to do harm, will look for hateful podcasts such as this.

    Funny stuff
Great podcast for people who understand humor and aren’t easily offended. Uncomfortable truth is mixed in with news stories and hilarious commentary.

    Right wing trash
If you are a huge fan of your ultra racist grandpa you are going to love this burning pile of trash.

From the smallest room in NYC...
Funny, honest and not always appropriate. Its comedy, who cares. Sarcasm is not lacking here. Pat dosen't give af, and neiter should you.

    Racist. Far Right Views.
Don’t even waste your time. Very racist and bias views.

A once great podcast that veered hard right
I was a big fan of New York Crime Report until it veered into far-right politics. Even in the past, you could tell Pat was a conservative, but I was happy to laugh along with him at stories of dumb criminals and the weird, bizarre and terrifying events that only happen in NYC. Pat’s pitch-black sense of humor matched my own and made the show irreverent and refreshing. But after listening again recently, I guess I’ve moved on in my podcasting tastes; Crime Report is now too pro-Trump, too pro-cop, too racist and too misogynist to be either funny or interesting. You hate to see it, folks.
  • zzzecca
Used to be funny & informative...
Now it’s kind of just him spewing right wing rhetoric. Sad because it used to be hilarious. Probably why Mandy left him...he’s now just a racist right wing failed comedian

Pat Dixon does a great radio show. He has a great personality of all time. I love the way he talks and is informative about true crime with special guests. Will always listen to you Pat. Keep doing a great show.

Mouth rape of an 81 year old lady can be hilarious.
Not for the easily offended. This is my favorite podcast and a black sense of humor is required. Give it a try if you aren’t a pro mask snowflake that wants to defund the police.

Tune in for the Crime, Stay to Learn Why It's Exploding
If you want to follow the downward spiral of Mayor De Blasio's crap leadership and the catastrophic results that it has produced, you have to listen to this podcast. Some may argue that the podcast used to only discuss crime. Not really. It's always been about New York City Crime AND its causes. De Blasio, the inept City Council and they're bafflingly large group of supporters have concocted and enacted a myriad of dangerous policies, from bail "reform" to the dissolution of the plain clothes unit. Mr. Dixon and company clearly track the effect these measures will have, to include the dizzying increase in violent crime. Or what listeners may refer to as subject matter. Mr. Dixon is clearly invested in the city of New York - he's lived in it for several years and his tone has taken a decided turn in the last several months. The city is dying, and the damage done since bail reform was enacted and from COVID will take years to undo - if those catastrophic consequences can be undone. Watching your adoptive city turn into a cesspool must truly be distressing, and he conveys it in a way that few can. His guests bring something to the episodes as well; Seth Barron remains among my favorites. His analysis of the consequences of closing Rikers in episode 450 remains one of the most informative predictions of the coming calamity these policies would bring to the city. If you want to get a sense of what is truly going on in New York City, about the damange that communist mayors and their ilk can wreak upon a once great city, this is a must-listen. Even if you don't care about New York, bear in mind that history repeats itself. Listen, understand the downfall, and avoid it in your own future. By the time you realize the demise of your own home is occurring, the damage may be too much to undo.

    Honest
Pat calls it like it is. NYC is going to hell fast due to leadership. At least we can all get a good laugh at their misfortune.

    Gritty NYC Crime
Pat is the best. His podcast discusses the crimes of the five boroughs. He doesn’t hold back on the leaders bent on destroying NYC.

    Pat is the man!
Keep it up Pat! I have been listening for years. Be political, don’t be political, doesn’t matter. You call it like you see it and I appreciate that.

    A Sleazy Good Time.
Well-produced, hilarious, and snarky. A nice break from the countless boring and “safe” podcasts that people somehow see fit to publish. Pat Dixon is the perfect host: A nihilistic, sarcastic, and quick-witted grim reaper who gleefully leads us down a darkened alleyway, teeming with the stories of New York’s Slimiest criminals. Fetch the latest paper from the front stoop, lock the door, and tune in to this week’s crime report with the one and only, Pat Dixon.

    Too much trump.
Used to be 5 star until Pat became radicalized by the alt-right. No thanks.

    Regular review
I’ve enjoyed this show so much, that I have now found myself listening to shows that are more than a year old. I’ve recommended this show to all my podcast listening friends, and even a few others. Love it!

NYC Crime Reports used to be one of the best
This was my favorite podcast until Pat started talking politics. I listen to podcasts to relax and get away from politics. I would have rated this 5 stars a couple of years ago, now 1 star.
  • Jhizza
    Criminally underrated
No safe spaces here, Dixon casually crushes snowflakes underfoot in his brutally honest take on crime in the big apple. Learned about some of my favorite larger than life villains: Mr. Fantastic, Black Hitler, Count Parkula etc. Do not listen if easily offended, world has enough whining as it is.
