Just listened to this podcast, which is sometimes pretty good, but on the most recent podcast they just named position group and named a player. It was lazy. You know what you could’ve done? Not do a podcast, that’s what. I understand your bosses probably make you do this weekly, but come up with better things. “What shall we do this week?” “Idk, how about you name a position group and I’ll just randomly name a player.” “Sounds good to me!”

Mike Schaffer is that idiot at the end of the bar who’s always wrong but in his own unemployable, bad breath, body odor, fearless mind he’s always right. Lol.

The content isn’t the beat. Takes too long for them to get into football talk. Worst thing is the sound. They sound like they are recording in closet or something. Terrible.

I enjoy the podcast every week including the “hype.” The season is not over and it would be really nice to finish this season with 2 big wins. Especially IA as I reside in IA and am surrounded by Hawkeye talk and negativity towards NE. Beat the Hawks and Go Big Red!!

Living in SEC country and most people around here don’t remember when Nebraska was relevant, what are some signs to look for this season that might point to becoming nationally relevant again?

I spent a good chunk of March-July quarantine rewatching the Bo Pelini era on YouTube. What a wild ride that was. If you were writing a book on the Pelini era and had unlimited interview access, what stories or games would be the most compelling to write about? If time allows it, same question for the Riley era

If you are interested in bland fishing stories, how many steps a blogger takes a day, or which type of hipster beer they get caught in their neck beards subscribe, unsubscribe, and then resubscribe. Also - for the love of god - change the intro music. It sounds like the walk up song at a cowboy funeral

Best way to escape the daily stress of life. (Kinda like laying in a hammock) perfect amount of banter and humor mixed in with great unrelated sports talk and glimpse into BCs soup trials. The analysis is spot on and engaging to listen to. Just enough stats, predictions, recruiting and unrealistic expectations that we all love so much. Question: I agree that the BIG10 wanted to send a message to Nebraska with the four game gauntlet but didn’t it just make sense for Nebraska Ohio state week one with both teams pushing to play and most prepared testing and organization wise?

Love the Husker podcast can random recipes. My question is when would you rather have for one year Omar Manning jr or Jd spielman?

So you know how we all have those recruits that we just fall in love with and refuse to give up on? Mine is Janim Graham. I don’t think I’ve heard really anything about him since he’s got on campus. Is there a sliver of hope that he will end up developing into a good OLB for us?

Any feedback u heard during the 2 week walkthroughs held in July/August. Never heard a darn thing from that period. Standouts etc.

Great breakdown of Nebraska football and athletics. Wheel of topics is pretty funny. Question: if Scott Frost were to openly say that Nebraska should lower its expectations to 8-9 wins a year, how would you react, and how do you think fans would react?

If trading was allowed in the NCAA which husker qb would you trade and what position or who would you try to trade him for?

Mike, Michael, and Brian do a tremendous job of covering all thinks Husker football, basketball, and baseball. Not only do they understand what it means to follow/root for Nebraska, but they also have all the juicy recruiting info you are searching for. Plus, you’ll stick around for the Seinfeld references and sock talk. And that spinning wheel. Just listen, you’ll hear.

The best Nebraska sports podcast in my book. Always goes to the top of my list each week. I really enjoy the interplay and random topics the hosts bring up on occasion, makes for a fun podcast pretty much every week.

Good content, there is just a disconnect in the volume levels. You have to turn it up or down depending on who is talking.

I listen to 3 Husker podcasts every week including this one. These three do a hell of a job breaking down all things Husker sports and also are pretty funny. Normally I hate when people go off on tangents and banter but these guys do a great balance. Entertaining and informative. Keep it up guys!

Far and away the best Husker pod out there, and it’s not even close. Informative, insightful, and will give you a good laugh as well. Keep it up fellas (also maybe time for new sound EQT) !

Makes working out a lot easier. Why not listen to the guys the majority of radio hosts are actually referencing?

I just wasted an hour of my life listening to Mike Schaefer’s vacation and a whole bunch of other stuff that was not relevant. The show in general is a 5 Star show when they talk about Husker Baseball, you can’t find a better crew to talk Husker baseball. However, this episode they talked about zero things Husker baseball. If the next podcast is 100% about Husker baseball and nothing else to make up for how bad his episode was, I will change my review to a 5 Star. It’s March, and they talked zero Husker baseball. Come, on.
