Have Jack and/or Joel as guests with Tyler more often, they make the show so much better!

That felt weird to say. Fun podcast especially if you’re only moderately into sports. Love the chemistry between Mia and Tyler. The one-on-one format had me a little apprehensive at first, but it works well.

I loved the previous Sportsball podcast and was super excited for this reincarnation, especially with the female perspective. I seriously have a hard time listening to these podcasts. There is just way too much innuendo in these podcasts for me. I realize that Mia is a former Porn actress, but I don’t feel like the podcast needs to be hyper sexualized. The whole podcast feels one dimensional now and is just innuendo. I love Tyler’s rants, especially the whole rant about Venus Williams. I really appreciate Mia’s strong opinions and insights. Please stop forcing it and remember that this is a sports show first. I’m honestly going to give it one more try and hopefully the get in the groove in a few weeks.

Let me start off by saying that I see a lot of potential in this podcast. I enjoyed the first season and was sad to see it go. I was very excited when I heard the show would be returning but after hearing the first episode I have some concerns. Maybe it’s because it’s a relatively slow time for sports news but the return felt flat. The joke told on the 500th episode of The RoosterTeeth Podcast about simply sticking Mia into any show because she brings a high number of views seems less like a joke now and more like the game plan behind the whole reboot. There seems to be a lack of chemistry between Mia and Tyler that made the whole experience feel off. I don’t dislike either one of the hosts but it has the feeling like I was watching two talented students present a project that wasn’t finished. The show seemed to stumble along with no clear direction. I can also appreciate that this is the first episode and we have at least 999 more to go. I’m hopeful for the season going forward as Tyler and Mia get more comfortable with the show and figure out the best way to showcase their knowledge and opinions.
