golf for everyone…Think Howard Stern for golf. Unfiltered insights on golf and its promotionHank Haney is refreshing. Hank Haney’s attributes appear to be: analytical, objective and sometimes a contrarian thinker with a holistic view of the golf world. Hank Haney does not report to any of the big media constituencies so his thoughts, knowledge and experience are real news that people will find interesting, entertaining and certainly thought provoking. You do not have to agree with Hank Haney however if you are interested in golf you will find Hank’s authenticity and facts alluring and addictive. Yeah, Hank Haney, is a normal guy, just like you or me. If you have any desire to know anything about golf other than the golf channel and the other major networks than you should give this podcast a listen. If you want to improve your own game then my gosh you may have access to a teacher that spent time with the best player on the planet and from a winning percentage the GOAT. Who would not want this access? Oh, I forgot, those that just want to be normal and fit in. My bad… These people will probably bash Hank because they can and not because it is warranted.

All things BravoGreat Golf PodcastHonest direct talk about all things golf. Great for a commute.
-
bjaktbHe’s Our Dude….Hank Haney’s podcast is really in for informative and gives you a different perspective on the sport of golf. Besides a Golf Hank brings a lot of other perspectives, from a parent who is watching his son play hockey. Give him a listen.

BigdogEMTLove the contentI love when I see a new Hank podcast drop!

RasmmLove this podcast!I look forward to hearing Hank’s opinions on the various tours and state of world professional golf each day. I especially enjoy his tips for making golf more enjoyable which is certainly helping my golf. Thanks Hank!!

loppmnjuCrazy How His Twitter Got HackedAnd then he was suddenly an ardent supporter of LIV Golf. What are the odds?
-
hellcat demonLivToo much positivity on Liv, probably won’t listen much anymore.
-
Chi Golf GeekUsed to be great. Now not so much.Spends way too much time talking about LIV and how great it is without any criticism of it (which even ardent supporters offer up). Most recent pod spent time criticizing Rory for speaking out in defense of the PGA Tour. That was the last straw for me.
-
Gillis Golf GuyHank is the man!He speaks his mind and is honest! Doesn’t tow the line for anyone, just like on my YouTube channel we talk real talk with no bias. Check it out if you can and keep listening to Hank. I hope to get Hank on my show too! He’s the best! Thanks! TG
-
pparrish23Best Golf PodcastHank is the only guy with a decent platform in the world of golf who’s not afraid to speak his mind. You may not agree with him but you’ll never have to guess where he stands on a subject. Personally, he has the best LIV takes I’ve heard. Love the show, Hank!
-
DEklund26ExcellentPerhaps some do not like Hank's podcast because he is brutally honest when giving his thoughts. If you are looking for someone to repeat the standard media line, then don't listen. Whether it is the LIV Tour or a specific player or tournament, Hank doesn't hold back and that is not only rare, it is extremely refreashing in today's wokeness. IMO opinion this is the best golf podcast available. I am not much into Minnestoa Tim and his partner, but when Hank is behind the mic it is outstanding.
-
IanBrown1019Don’t listenHonestly Hank should retire. He’s out of touch and constantly speaks without reason or facts. Anyone listening to this show is dumber by the end.
-
klpod77Hank HateyThe only thing Hank is positive about on this podcast is the LIV tour. The negativity on Tiger, the tour and golf in general is repetitive and tired. It’s clear there’s a grudge against the tour for something. Maybe he’s trying to position himself for an offer from LIV. There are plenty of better golf pods out there.
-
MinnesotaFanaticSaturday strongI love the Saturday strong with the great predictor and Minnesota Tim. They offer a different take on golf and add a casual, lighter style to the podcast. Highly suggest
-
MRAGONECold SHank…Has Hank always been this bitter and obnoxious? If I here him dismissively say “ya know, if people really do have a problem with all the Saudi stuff”…I’m gonna lose it. Go back to teaching 60 year old hacks in Scottsdale how to break 120.
-
NH travelerWhere is the sports?Papa John episode weak.

West side 2002It’s Good when HH shows upIt’s a good podcast when Hank Haney is on the show. If it’s just the other two I either don’t listen or move to a different episode with Hank.
-
Louie and PaoloSuper golf leagueThere are lots of more coherent and better researched golf podcasts. The super golf league discussion in particular was just babbling. Barely touched on what Phil actually said and it seemed like they supported Phil. Clearly they can have their own opinion but at least have a formulated and coherent opinion that’s thought provoking.
-
Reasonable5A QuestionAre the 2 non-Hanks real people or just actors playing the parts of the biggest morons ever?
-
33436userLove when Hank is onHank is great and I enjoy all his podcasts. His stories no matter the topic are interesting and amusing. His analysis of golf and knowledge of player stats is very informative. Whether you are a occasional player or just a viewer of golf listen a few times and I think you will become a subscriber. The other two who do podcasts under the Hank Haney name I am not a fan of as they are too juvenile. Enough said about them.
-
poconnell10Zero facts - angry manHugely disappointing podcast - was expecting so much more from HH….consistently contradicts himself, zero facts, constantly repeats himself, an ignorant opinion at best .. his comments on Europe are beyond ridiculous -“ Horses and Soccer” Wouldn’t expect to hear that comment from a 10 year old…
-
Arb#1Hank is idiotic at timesMany of his opinions are without research or thought.
-
vikinghoopsStick to golf.08% of all cases are unvaccinated people. Let’s not pretend that the vaccine isn’t effective. Love the podcast when you talk golf.
-
BDL06Insightful podcastGreat insight and tips from Hank
-
BBQDawg40Real talkHank gives his uncompromising opinions on everything golf related. It's an excellent podcast
-
deckert123Good when Hank is onWhen Hank isn’t on we are treated to garbage from tim (Walmart self checkout Tim) Hank’s content is amazing and his insight is great. Would not recommend until tim is removed
-
vin...manGolf?Listen to Hanks podcast and golf will be explained to you towards the end of the cast!! “What he said”! vr

Ryanw83It’s okIf listening to some random non-golf dude from Minnesota talk about taking a dump is your thing you came to the right place.

Hollywood#22Love Hank and Steve, “Minnesota Tim?”Have been a long time listener and fan of Hank Haney for many years. His expert opinions and instruction are spot on and I always look forward to his and Steve’s terrific content. Make no mistake however, this five star rating does not relate to Minnesota Tim in any way shape or form. From what rock did Hank find this inexperienced, arrogant, lack of Golf knowledge, lack of game goof ball? Where does this guy get off on smashing Rory Mcilroy? The guy is going to be a first ballet hall of famer! He is a world class player who has won multiple majors, fed ex cups, Ryder cups etc. and has spent a lot of time as the world #1. Minnesota Tim has no business being a part of this show or any other Golf podcast for that matter. Wow! Minnesota Tim, did I touch a nerve? I find it hysterical that you thought it necessary to talk about “grammatical errors” and that I missed and an opportunity to really drive my point home by adding an onslaught of extra exclamation points to my previous review. All in all I must have done a decent job for you to spend the first 10 minutes of the pod talking about it. Anyway, I wanted to comment on yet another incredible piece of insight regarding Jordan Spieth making a change to his swing after having such a dominant year in 2015. We all completely understand that he has struggled over the last several seasons and sadly it’s hard to know why his game has gone south recently however, there is a golfer by the name of Tiger Woods (maybe you’ve heard of him) that decided to make a swing change in 1997 after winning the Masters by 12 shots. He also made a swing change when changing instructors from Butch Harmon to Hank Haney and won an even higher percentage of the tournaments that he entered after making the change. Point being, these players are always trying to get better no matter how great they are playing at the time, even the greatest player of all time. If you are not working on your game and trying to improve then inevitably your are going to regress. There are always going to be a group of hungry up and comers that are going to be looking to knock you off of your pedestal. Last but not least, if you feel that somehow I was being cowardly by not including my real name to my review, that’s called a user name which automatically gets posted when you write a review genius!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just wanted to be sure I included enough punctuation for you bud. Sincerely, Paul Metzger aka. Hollywood22

RWTrojan08Best golf podcastGreat podcast. Keep telling it like it is and ignore the liberal snowflakes
-
Easy ServiceI look forward to thisHank is great...honest, transparent and insightful. Steve is a nice compliment and easy to listen to. Regrettably Tim is detracting from the show. He is often too loud, uninformed and immature. Needs work
-
Tim632MountProspectStick to Golf, PleaseI love listening to Hank Haney when he talks about golf. Nobody is better. But I don’t want to hear Hank’s political views and commentary about the presidential election.
-
Tee3377It’s OverGave you a second chance to stay away from politics. And it is Masters week. Are you kidding me ? It’s over. You lost this listener.
-
skastingDidn’t expect to like Hank butI do. I thought he got thrown under the bus on his comments on the LPGA and was disappointed in Tiger’s response to Hank’s comments. Anyways, I never had a chance to listen to the radio show but the podcast is way better than I expected. I tend to agree with Hank on most golf takes he has especially about rolling back equipment and how poorly the usga handles everything. Also, Hank actually dissects the game instead of only focusing on the controversies like other golf podcasts Keep up the good work Hank, Steve and Tim Update: Love that he spoke his feelings on the election. Keep it up!
-
Dan SpNovember 6, 2020 podcastWow. The entire podcast complaining about the Presidential election and how mail-in / absentee ballots undermine our election system. I know the country is deeply divided but don’t perpetuate a false narrative that the process is unfair just because the valid results aren’t available on election night. This process provides opportunities for citizens to exercise their right to cast their vote legally. Please stick to what you do best which is to talk about Golf. There are untold number of outlets that focus on politics. Just because you don’t like the result doesn’t mean you have to devote an entire show to promote your thoughts. Stay well and let’s work to bring this country together.

Joe / CharlotteGreat to Have Hank Haney Back on RadioWhen Hank was taken off Sirius Radio for a comment that was far from being offensive I stopped listening to the channel. Society today needs to “lighten up” with always trying to find fault in one another’s comments. A Lee did win the tournament after all. Hank knows the game of golf and his comments are always worth listening to and following. I’m a regular listener now of IHeart Radio . Welcome back Hank and the Great Review written on January 8, 2020 Never miss listening to Hank’s Podcast. Have listened to every one especially when Steve and Tim chime in. You can’t have constant golf talk as a little humor is needed at times. Hank is far from being boring when not talking Golf and his delivery is great to listen. Thanks for the great Podcasts. Joe from Charlotte, NC 20 year Pinehurst Member. As always another Great Show Hank on 4/2/20 however a correction as Johnny Miller Shot a 63 at Oakmont in the final round of the US Open not 62. Also enjoy the shows more when the Great Predictor Steve Johnson is aboard and joining You and Minnesota Tim. Keep up the good broadcasts. Joe H Charlotte, NC Excellent Show with Mike Thomas. Questions were spot on and answers from Mike provided insight on Justin’s development. Joe H Charlotte, NC The Show with Chris DeMarco was only of the Best. Interesting discussions and great insights about the pressures of tournament Golf. Joe H Charlotte, NC Great instructional discussion on the Monday 5/4/2020 Show. I will keep this show to review often. It is like a personal lesson from Hank. I also got Hank’s Book and enjoy and learn from it. I am a low handicap golfer but learn from Hank upon constant review. Thanks Hank Great Show. Joe H Charlotte, NC I listen to Hank every day and enjoy his show. But today Hank you sounded like “ Debbie Downer.” The Taylor Made broadcast wasn’t supposed to be the most professional ever as it involved precautions limiting the people on site. This COVID-19 is real and we need to start back slowly. Also I wish you would not make your show a political platform. Trump is a guy all about himself and not a quality person. I am not against Republicans as I would always vote for the right person for the job. But don’t take my words about Trump read Commander in Cheat by Rick Reilly and see what so many others have commented about his personal qualities. In closing I respect you, your teaching philosophy, your Voodoo Pain Relief products, and your books; but don’t go the Trump route. Joe H Charlotte, NC Great Show with Steve & Tim on May 23rd. Topics were interesting and well discussed. Thanks Guys enjoyed the 20th Show. Joe H Charlotte, NC Hank we have issues in this country because our President Trump is an egotist. A total jerk and if you don’t believe me read Rick Reilly’s Book - Commander in Cheat. (Among other things of course but thought I would keep it in a golf venue) Be careful about showing your political preferences as you will turn off many of the people who thought you had a brain. Joe H Charlotte, NC Great Show today. Really enjoyed listening to Steve’s analysis of that young female golfer which could be applied to anyone. Keep up the Good Work Guys. Saturday Strong is now more interesting than many of Hank’s Shows unfortunately. Joe H Charlotte, NC Hank’s best / most interesting shows are when Steve Johnson is involved. Joe H Charlotte, NC The 10/01/2020 Show with the Fake Mike Davis was THE BEST! In a long time. I was tired of listening ( although I have not missed one podcast) of Hank when he would talk political. I cannot understand why Hank would be a Trump supporter when he really looks at the man. This is not a comment of either being a Republican or a Democrat; but rather the character of a person. Case in point look at the past debate. Trump was a total embarrassment to the citizens of the United States. If you don’t believe Trump is a Narcissistic Sociopath read the book written by one of Hank’s favorite sportswriters Rick Reilly, Commander in Cheat. In this book Trump displays this attitude as it pertains to golf. Joe H Charlotte, NC 20 Year Pinehurst C.C. Member

MalfnenflSo Boring and Strokes Hanks EgoI’ve listened to 4 eps to really give it a chance. The cohosts kiss hanks butt a nauseating amount. For someone who has taught the greatest of all time, I was expecting amazing stories and insight into the game (both technically and philosophically). Hank just sounds so shallow and bitter. Like a grumpy ole man.
-
itzbigSarcasm masteredAlthough I disagree with plenty of Hank/Steve takes, this pod is absolutely hilarious and a great listen. Hank and Steve have to be a couple of the most sarcastic guys on the planet. And Tim’s golf inexperience mixed with his self confidence adds an angle that few shows have. Lastly, Hank needs to have me as a guest so I can teach him why par doesn’t matter!
-
MDDFWHank is the best but needs more golf talkI respect Hank as a world class golf coach and his insight into the pro game is unparalleled. This is a great podcast when there’s a big golf tournament going on, but when there’s not, the content is horrible. There’s way too much “Minnesota Tim” - nobody cares about Tim! I get it, Hank has a fatherly affection for this kid but can’t you guys fill slow content days with instructional tip? Or anything besides this kid’s banal stories? Today the entire show was about how Tim acted like a rank amateur by crashing the driving range at a private club. At least they’ve moved on from the sad dating life of this kid (they used to spend hours on how Tim couldn’t get a second date). Also, I don’t need to hear Steve’s political views, he’s not that bright and there are infinite podcasts devoted to politics. Sadly, I’m only going to listen when there’s a major about to be played. Again, Hanks insight is the best. I hope they bring back more instruction or some actual guests.
-
NotWokeYou guys nailed it!Hank, you and Tim were dead on with your predictions for round 2 of the US Open! Fun to listen to it knowing how it turned out.
-
12DJADJA21What a BuffoonIt was certainly rich listening to Hank Haney throw a tantrum over somebody else’s inappropriate public comments. Even defended his own racist and sexist comments in this episode while skewering Kisner. Irony is dead, killed by stupidity. I was disappointed to hear shades of conspiratorial ramblings (e.g. coronavirus measures will end Nov. 4) as well.
-
MitchCumstein6969Gee I wonder how sponsors workThe 8/28 show was so laughably bad I unsubscribed. These shows without Haney are just bad. Hosts virtue signaling without any skin in the game and seemingly oblivious to what has been the strength of golf this summer (an absence of political commentary). There’s plenty of sources for informative insights into social unrest etc, but a golf podcast without said podcasts star ain’t it.
-
@larrypetersonPGAGood stuff coming out of the PGA. Enjoyed the insights. I plan to become a more regular listener through this unusual 2020 season.
-
PhatgloveHELP!!I caught a minor case of the shanks this spring that became major. I was a 4 handicap. Now I have lost my iron swing and could use some advise on rebuilding a swing.

1NirviGolf and life.Love the golf talk and the talk about their journeys.

Texas Cards FanWhere’d It Go?Gosh. I used to plan my mornings around hearing Hank on the radio but I can’t even listen anymore. I got nothing in the world against Tim but I’m having a hard time understanding how the guy plays such a huge part in this show. Tim knows nothing about golf. “He choked”. I’m betting he shouts BabaLouie at the TV while he watches. I’m lost as to the need for any of his input. Nobody cares about his weather forecast or his failed relationships, or whatever. And I’m sorry. It’s just not funny, not interesting and I don’t get it. Worse, when Steve is on, he has to call him Steve in every sentence, as if there’s 8 ppl in the room. Worse yet when he tries to be funny and screams “Great Predictor”, I cannot listen. Sorry, I’m done. Love Hank & Steve but I don’t care about how many holes Tim played. No.One.Cares.
