Mom to 4 Little NewmersReally Respect His BraveryI very much admire that Dave has not been afraid to step in to politics in a thoughtful rational way as it relates to finances. I’m going to play for my children his explanation on why he has voted in every election since he was 18 and how he makes his decision who to vote for.

roxscarbPlease stop letting Ken spout nonsensePrice controls are a bad idea. History bears that out, in spades. But Ken’s example of food deserts in rural and urban areas?? Sir, that is happening in this country in a big way as we speak. Read the news. (Thank you to Rachel for picking up on that.) Kamala Harris is a capitalist. She’s not going to institute Venezuelan-style price controls. She hasn’t said she wants to. And the fact is: it’s not going to happen. You all claim to have faith in America. Please prove it and quit the badly-informed histrionics. Dave, hysteria is bad for the market. You shouldn’t allow this on your show. And for Pete’s sake Ken, Ms. Harris is Vice President of the United States. Learn to pronounce her name.

harharhar1234Dumbest people on earth on this showThey put the dumbest people on this show and give the most basic advice: work harder and pay off your debt. That’s the entire show. Plus religious nonsense and MAGA nonsense. You’re welcome.

jaquelyn Rafert5 stars but….I’ve been listening to Dave for years and my husband and I use his advice. I have listened to Dave rants in good humor and I don’t agree with his veiled political affiliations. It’s clear which way he leans but he doesn’t say it outright. That being said I’m fine with it. BUT, recently he went on a rant and about taxes and said people who vote “wrong” should be ashamed of themselves. Money is not everything and political issues around taxes are complex in my opinion. This particular rant finally offended me and I’m taking a break from his podcast. I’ll probably circle back in time because the advice and stories are inspiring. I’m not ashamed of myself but I am disappointed today. Dave’s welcome to his opinions but the rant was in bad taste for a person who is rich in not only money but wisdom and who helps so many people.

Fruga1I’m 86-Years-Old and Broke, Jun 19, 2024The advice was pretty narrow and pretty weak. 1) the caller should’ve been advised to make no decision without her daughter none. 2) try to see if you can get a roommate find somebody from church that you trust. There are always people that are looking for somewhere to live. Inflation has annihilated senior citizens lives and savings. 3) talk to your daughter and research reverse mortgages. It would free up some money and allow you to remain in your own home. Some companies are not reputable, but that’s why you’re making sure your daughters involved with decision-making. 4) perhaps apply for food stamps.

Paige TurnerrIt’s great, like Jerry Springer but betterI really love this show. The information is extremely valuable and it’s also very entertaining. I love when Dave reverts to his country talk, it’s so funny and reminds me of my southern grandmother, it’s very nostalgic. Listening to this podcast inspired me to eliminate all of my consumer debt and save a 30k emergency fund in less than a year. Thank you Dave and team! George is quite funny and I love the pragmatism and empathy that Rachel and Jade bring. Politically and religiously I am not aligned with this group but the content is excellent and I love listening!

FHLthese3Love the show but basic math oversightRe: the Car Dealership /Garbage Deals episode. Jade gave an example of a “Garbage deal” ($3000/mo car payment for 96 months 🤮) She calculated the opportunity cost of not investing that amount but NOT the true cost: $3000 x 96 months= $288,000. She rightly pointed out that the seller at the dealership who pushed such a deal lacked integrity & that the buyer lacked basic financial knowledge.

tsonnyd.Short and SweetLove the short and sweet episodes. I used to listen to the full show regularly but nowadays I don’t have enough time. This gives me the ability to stay updated with interesting calls/topics/news. I would like to see something like this but for George’s YouTube channel in a podcast version.

PSLKateSolid advice on managing moneyThe Ramsey Team consistently delivers solid, practical advice on life, money, and careers. I love listening when I am out for a walk! My family became debt-free several years ago using his principles. Dave and team: thank you for all you do for your listeners and those who, like my family who got sick and tired of being sick and tired working with nothing to show for it… applied the baby steps and are now living like no one else. God bless you!

@debraMy husband refuses to sell his fun car so we can buy a houseKen should stick with giving job advice. That was the absolute worst response ever. Rachel is right! Women have to stop putting their feelings in second place. It’s a freaking car!

-
NancyJVNot enough callsI am disappointed that there are many episodes that are merely the hosts talking and not actually Calls of the Day. I want to listen to people ask questions, not hear host commentaries.
-
Finner SpinsLove itGreat podcast. You can learn a lot.
-
Raising HeleneShort, sweet and super snideSome good nuggets a value, but wow. Ramsey is snide, arrogant and often relies on “because I said so” as an explanation to his opinions instead of the true insights that got him where he is. Episode 321 is the perfect representation of this.

KRod258Bite Sized Dave Advice!Absolutely love the format, great idea! When you only have a few moments to listen to a podcast this is a great addition to my routine! I don’t always have close to three hours to listen to the whole show every day so this is a great way to keep up and stay motivated!
-
Nate MoriLOVE THIS!This is great!! Would love it if there was a Dave Ramsey Rant podcast too!!
-
Petrelli245Should be a “Best Of Podcast”Dave posts highlights on his YouTube Channel every day and it is an excellent format for it. I would kill if Dave took his show and distilled it down to a 2.5-3 Hour episode each week. 2 Hours a day every day is a bit much for the main show on podcast every day.
-
Hank1stMakes my commute betterMy quick commute just got better because Ramsey created this show.
