    Epic College Football!
Joel has great insights and a ton of knowledge on the college game! You can tell he has passion for the sport and the content is worth your time.

Klatt talks with us, not at us.
College football is my favorite sport and I consider myself a fan of the macro and micro parts of it. Joel Klatt is the top analyst of college football because of the way he can explain the minutiae to us with clarity, emotionally, and intellectually, all in a timely manner without talking down to us or making feel like he is an officer and we are enlisted. He shows us that he is a fan of the game first, and talks with us, not at us. I wish the podcast happened everyday, but I understand Klatt’s schedule and why that’s not possible.

    Good stuff
I’m more into NFL, but for college content I listen to Joel.

Lost his touch with the game and fans
Not sure when it happened but you’ve lost your touch, Joel. Becoming an apologist for coaches that can’t get the job done and he fantasizes what programs are. Not worth the time anymore, used to be so much better. Stick to analytics and color commentary, serves you much better than the opinion pod

    Great, Honest, Unbiased Podcast
The best in the business. 5-0 on your picks!! Congratulations. Look forward to listening to you the rest of the season.

I generally really like the show until he talks about Michigan
I get it, his livelihood is the game and nothing would destroy it quicker than the loss of the integrity of the sport. I assume that is why he struggles so much talking about Michigan cheating. I’m disappointed :) Joel can’t be more open, clear, and honest about what it is. He is better off not talking about it at all because it only makes me question his integrity when he does.

Joel Klatt is the best. As is Gus Johnson
Bring on Gus to the show!!

    QBs aren’t smart
It never occurred to me how dim Joel is until this apparent cheating Michigan did. He’s talking 90s offensives and probability. Did Michigan illegally steal signs (y/n)? Should institutional cheating be punished (y/n)? Welcome to Earth Joel.

    Very Good But Not Great
Enjoyable and likable host who conveys a passion for college football. The in-season podcasts are extremely informative. Avoid the coaches interviews as they contain nothing but softball questions.

    Amazing
Joel has one of the best sports podcasts I have seen. His interviews are very insightful and diverse. He has a great voice for podcasting! Love the heavy focus on the B10.

    Goat Klatt Show
One of the best CFB shows period bc Joel is a student of the game. He goes above the X’s & O’s in all aspects.

    Good insight
Love Joel and his insight but lost a bit by defending Michigan last year. That will soon be proven to be a swing and a miss. Other than that - no complaints

Good listen for college football news
Joel great analyzing and call games

Calls it like HE sees it
I really like Joel. His show may be B1G heavy. He definitely leans towards his alma mater (Colorado). He does a great job of expressing his opinions. Just like everyone else in the college football media, he sometimes gets it wrong. But most of the time, he’s just about right. Very entertaining to listen to at work.

    Joel Klatt
is too biased to rate higher. He has good knowledge and a good delivery. It’s just too much B10 hyperbole. It I was a B10 fan I’d rate him 5 stars. Any other conference should rate him far less.
  • glimadoll
    I disagree with you!
College football is changing too much, in a chaotic way. It is now focused on making the most money/revenue for the networks, etc. not what’s best for the fans, the rivalries, team cohesion, etc. The schedule with the transfer portals, signing day, bowl prep is crazy. NIL is out of control and there are no guidelines. This is progress??????? Really????

    Five stars
When it comes to college football, I look to Paul Finebaum for news and commentary — and Joel Klatt for analysis of teams, players, and games. I appreciate how he educates the audience, without talking down to us. And while The Joel Klatt Show isn’t a comedy podcast, with jokes and ‘bits’ — if you ever catch Joel when he’s a guest on The Herd with Colin Cowherd on FS1, those segments are some of the funniest on sports talk television.

    Expert Analysis and Beyond
Love Joel’s expert analysis of college football and all the strategic points he gives insights on as well. The corporate leader in me loves the references to Jim Collins’ boon “From Good to Great,” and todays reference to E + R = O (I only get one moment to respond so I better make it impactful).

    He Gets It
Klatt is the man. Dude just gets it. A little too pro Ohio State for my taste (given I’m a Big Ten alumn) but he breaks down college ball better than anyone. Great speaker, great presenter, great content, and he lets it rip regardless of what chumps on social yell about. So glad he’s at FOX and not that ridiculous 4 letter network. Keep it up Klatt!

    Top 12
Always enjoy hearing your analysis, opinions, and experiences. One suggestion…since the playoffs are now 12 teams, do a Top 12 instead of Top 10 so we can hear who think will make the playoff. Thx

Klatt is great to listen too!
I started following “this Joel Klatt guy” after hearing him as a guest on The Herd. I love his insight and his on air demeanor. In a day and time where the airwaves are filled with craziness Klatt provides a well reasoned and intelligent show that I find very entertaining.

    Awesome Show
Best analysis in the business. I always enjoy Klatt’s takes, even when I disagree, because he delivers it with such great analysis and reason.

    Love the Pod!!
I just wanted to take time to honor you Joel! Not only as an analyst, which I think you do a fantastic job at, but as a man. I am so thankful that you are a light in this space as a follower of Christ, as a husband, and as a father. You are such a role model and example for those watching and listening!! Also… I love it when you slam Colin on his show

Am I the Only One ?
Joel’s insight on the playoff scenarios is definitely fair and comprehensive. However, I continually have been hearing some things that I cannot get behind from the media. The biggest one is that the SEC is the best conference in college football. Joel’s points on keeping Tennessee in the top 25 despite 4 TD losses to Georgia and Missouri as well as 2 TD losses to both both Alabama and Florida (yes … 5-7 Florida who just lost to a Florida State team without Jordan Travis), strongly supports the SEC-bias and overrated conference viewpoint. This conference is definitely top-heavy and receives SEC-bias from year’s past. I watched Georgia struggle against, and beat a mediocre .500 Georgia Tech team by one score. On the same weekend, I saw it take a miracle (and horrible defensive call on the 4th and 31 play) for Alabama to beat a .500 team at Auburn last week. Let’s talk common opponents or the one degree of separation aspect for a moment. Georgia Tech lost to Clemson by 3 TDs … which is a team that Florida State beat (granted before Jordan Travis’ injury but the comparison is still a 4 TD difference in final scores). If you’re talking about Georgia still getting in after that performance followed up by a loss in the conference championship game to Alabama (especially after Alabama’s previous week’s performance), I find it challenging at the least to say that either SEC champion should get in with one loss. To explain further, the vaunted SEC team of Alabama could and should have lost to Auburn … a team that lost to New Mexico by 3 TDs the week before. For those who may have forgotten, New Mexico is a team that lost to a 3-9 UMass team earlier this year. I would argue that Alabama is not exactly playing their best at the end of the year either. The Crimson Tide’s “huge win” against UT-Chattanooga the week before ashouldn’t impress anyone either since that opponent also lost to 3-7 North Alabama, Western Carolina, and Furman teams as well. Compare either of those 1-loss SEC teams (if Alabama beats Georgia) and putting them in over an undefeated Florida State conference champion; a Texas conference champion that beat Alabama by double digits head-to-head; an Oregon conference champion that avenged it’s only loss (and may be playing the best of any team in the discussion lately as the eye test winner) and you may understand why it is hard for me to support the 1-loss SEC champion HAS to have a team in the playoffs argument. When I hear statements that Alabama or Georgia would be favored over any of the other teams be considered as mentioned above, I simply say, “it depends on which Georgia and Alabama team shows up”. If the inconsistent Georgia team that played against Georgia Tech, Auburn, or South Carolina shows up, Georgia may not beat the other candidates under consideration on a neutral site. If it is the inconsistent Alabama team that played against Auburn, Arkansas, South Florida, Texas A&M, or even possibly Texas were to show up, I feel they definitely wouldn’t … despite Paul Finebaum’s most crazed rants of “over my dead body!”. Every year, at least one of the Power 5 conferences have been left out of the 4-team playoffs, until now, the SEC was not even considered to be that 1 team (and with good reason). I feel the right circumstances may provide the necessary evidence for other deserving teams to get the nod if Georgia were to fall to Alabama in the SEC title game.

    This show is fire🔥🔥
buffalobingywingy not true this show is amazing klatts only bias is towards Colorado and rightly so because he went there.
  • Tate101423
    Little biased game calling?
I love your show and the way you break down college football. The only concern I have is the way you call football games. I’m normally not the one to complain about football announcers because they make the game entertaining too. But on Saturday, the bias was REAL towards the Buckeyes. The excitement of you and Gus when Ohio State tied it up 17-17 was crazy. When Michigan went right back down and made it 27-17, regular game calling. Maybe because I’m a Wolverine fan I saw it like that, but like I said, I normally don’t look for stuff like that unless it’s OBVIOUS.

    B1G Love Fest
It's really unfortunate that such a great CFB mind is being used as a big ten puppet by Fox. The bias is quite obvious and extreme. If you want to hear about how fun the Michigan vs Indiana game was every week, tune in. If you care about unbiased analysis from across the country, try the College Gameday podcast from ESPN or the College Football Enquirer from Yahoo.

    I respect
his knowledge of college football, but when people start waffling on about their religious mythologies on sports shows it’s a complete turn off and isn’t the appropriate forum.

    Excellent College Football Podcast
I like watching the games Joel covers (my Buckeyes have a lot of them), so it was cool to find out that he has a podcast. It’s great, I like the format of it - Monday reactions, Wednesday analysis, Thursday previews. The Colorado “overload” earlier in the year seemed to tick off some but I was fine with it, gotta cover the biggest story in the nation while you can! I’ll definitely be sticking around for Joel’s off-season coverage too to get us through the long non-CFB time. (P.S.: Can I get a Rose Bowl hat? 😂)

    Intellectually Dishonest
I listened this entire CFB season but this latest episode ranking the teams after the second playoff rankings was completely intellectually dishonest. Specifically, the second tier teams that were put forth is obnoxious. Clearly putting teams in the second tier based on personal bias against certain teams. Back to the Rece Davis podcast for me.

    Love the show-day one listener
Big fan of Joel and the show. I’ve been a listener since episode one. My only complaint is Joel is an expert on the big brand teams but lacks some knowledge on the G5 and smaller P5 teams.

    Academy bowl game
On the Oct 26 show you asked about an academy in a major bowl game…..maybe the 1963 Cotton Bowl, #1 Texas vs #2 Navy (Roger Staubach at QB) Dan Shea University of Colo … still have great memories of you throwing touchdowns in the lighting storm vs CSU👍

Great analysis - A great listen
This is simply a great podcast! I am new to podcasts and love college football. It is obvious that Joel shares a passion for the sport and this comes through in his broadcasting on FOX and this podcast. It is a must listen for those that cannot wait until the next round of Saturday games. This podcast helps me through the week.

    LOVE Joel Klatt
Love his positive energy. Great analysis. Overall amazing dude. A must-listen for college football fans. I would just kindly request that we NOT give Air Force, Army, or Navy any coverage. These sketchy institutions recruit and trick athletes into joining their teams in exchange for ruining their lives and prospective professional careers all so corrupt elitists can make more money starting wars and selling weapons that demonically take innocent life. These life-taking and life-ruining institutions should never be placed in a positive light in college football.

Klatt brings the JUICE with nuance!
From entry level to pushing your understanding of all the moving pieces, loving the Joel Klatt show. Easy to be bombastic, Mr. Klatt always poking holes in his takes and others just to share as much perspective as possible. Played for 11 years organized, 1 in D2 college, now 33, named after Bear Bryant, this is the best football show I watch/listen to. I also like Rich Eisen. #nuance #smallDetailsMakeTheBigDifference #genuine
