Birdie-DianaVegan SupporterI’m an animal lover and there’s no doubt about it. Seeing the loss of iconic animals on a daily basis especially in Africa from poaching and land degradation, loss of habitat in the US where I live I needed to act immediately and make a difference in my way and the quickest way for me is to change my diet. In return I am much healthier and I’m not going to stop the way I eat I’m happy with that. While researching my new vegan lifestyle and conservation news I came across this podcast. Into the Wilderness podcast has educated and informed me in profound ways. I admit I was hesitant and afraid to listen not knowing what to expect. Then I realized that this podcast is about different aspects of conservation and fantastic interviews with game changers making a difference such as hunter-conservationist Ivan Carter, Professor Amy Dickman and her passion for lions, Alex Olefse an outfitter - hunter conservationist from Namibia, Ryan Youngblood a bison rancher in the US, Cara SantaMaria Talk Nerdy Podcast. Interviews with people around the world who are passionate about hunting, wildlife and all for conservation. I am truly grateful for Byron and his team for stepping it up and bringing content on a regular basis which allowed me to make an accurate informed decision on my own and as a vegan I can say without a doubt that hunting right now is the only way that we can preserve the future wildlife. Great Information

J. W. BakerFantastic and TimelyByron and Darryl are doing extraordinary work. I have followed them through Modern Huntsman for several years now but hadn’t listened to the podcast until recently. Since then I’ve been devouring episodes as often as I can. I find their eclectic mix of guests and topics to be highly engaging. They do a great job of highlighting the important work being done around conservation as well as bringing to the forefront topics that are often missed, by the general public, in the field of conservation.

kDB JR.comExcellent discussions and insightOne of my favorite overall podcasts, and clearly the favorite in the hunting, conservation and building sustainable communities sphere. Tempered, insightful and informed discussions on controversial topics relating to our natural world. Of particular note, the conversation with Bill Rodin is excpetional, with its discussion on outdoor writing and the dedication it requires to excel in the outdoor space.

Sleeeeeeepy dudeBest outdoor podcastAs someone who doesn’t hunt I was surprised by how much this podcast resonated with me. It speaks to the value of wildlife/eco conservation while helping to bridge the world between hunters, outdoorsman, wildlife advocates, vegetarians etc. In fact, I’ve grown a new appreciation for the world of hunting and fishing as primary contributors to conservation. The show features interviews with various experts on hunting and wildlife that are always entertaining, informative and frequently peppered with exciting retellings of outdoor adventures shared by everyone. This has easily become my favorite podcast to listen to!

lefthandguy2A rebate on your lifeThis podcast covers my favorite things; hunting, adventure and a love of the outdoors. And it covers them to a depth that means whoever you are you will gain from it. If you have any interest in these things then this podcast is definitely for you! If you resent having to waste significant chunks of your life doing something that you don’t love (like commuting),then this is one of those “life hacks” that actually gives you some of your life back. Just like a tax rebate, but with your life. How cool is that?

Tango9045Pace Brothers - Into the WildernessThese guys are fantastic. Though they’re based in Scotland, the range of topics covered, diversity of guests and overall production quality make this podcast a winner for the US. They’re passionate about hunting, conservation and the outdoors in general. A must subscribe if you hunt Africa or are considering a safari. The podcasting equivalent of a Ruark book! Check out their short films as well.

LeftHandGuyNot just for British hunters...If you love any aspect of being out-of-doors, hunting, shooting, fishing, kayaking, hiking, you will get something from this podcast. If you care about traceability of your food, or the sustainability of the natural world, you will get something from this podcast. If you don't like these things, and don't understand why people go into the wild to hunt, fish or explore - you need to listen to this podcast. If you cannot understand why some of us take it upon ourselves to find and kill wild animals, and yet can hand-on-heart say that we love those same animals - you need to listen to this podcast. The brothers will talk to anyone with anything intelligent to say about hunting, conservation and exploration. This is not a standard 21st century echo chamber, difficult subjects are not avoided, and the scope is global.

__Abigail__Wonderful PodcastThis podcast has great interviews and discussions on the different aspects of hunting and the outdoors. From an American perspective, it is great to be able to see the both the similarities and differences between our approach to all things outdoors and that of those in the UK.
