Great Food For Thought On Any of Life’s Pivots!
The most recent episode, #343, has Jenny answering questions to celebrate a milestone birthday today. I hope this 5-star review and an encouragement that you should listen and subscribe is a fitting present! (Happy Birthday! 🥳) I first encountered Jenny on LinkedIn Learning as she had just the course I was looking for: “Figuring Out Your Next Move” on how to make a career pivot. Her “Pivot Method” is helpful in my continuing discernment of “What’s next?” This podcast, is a companion to the Pivot method & book, is filled with top-notch guests and great practical tips on solo episodes that provide rich and digestible food for thought each week. Her tone is one of accompaniment - Jenny is right in the thick of figuring out the twists and turns of her career like you & I. She provides great thought leadership and a forum for other thinkers to talk and offer, hopefully, the next piece of the puzzle in our search. I appreciate the Sunday drop for new episodes because it is almost like my weekly pep talk to tackle the work ahead while also keeping my eyes on what’s ahead. This is one of many resources Jenny has available for free (if you’re on a tight budget like me) and ways that you can work with her and her team to make the next move confidently. Give Pivot a listen and I hope you make it part of your weekly routine!

Becoming an expert at change is not easy
Jenny Blake is a pro podcaster and interviewer—she has created multiple great podcasts, from Free Time to this, Pivot. I love how audacious her goals are and more importantly, how bravely she takes us inside her process and dreams, and brings us along for the ride. Jenny is a deep thinker, a systems geek, and a facilitator of ideas. Grateful for her and this show.

Inspirational approach to work and life
I started listening to this podcast in 2019. Everytime I listened to an episode I had some spark of inspiration encouraging me to take a new approach to my career (and life). When the pandemic hit, I decided to listen to every episode starting from 01. I didn’t want to miss a single nugget of insight! This podcast is truly amazing. It’s been a real game changer for me. Thanks Jenny.

A breath of fresh air in business podcasts. 💜
I love this podcast and Jenny’s unique energy and perspective. To me, it’s a breath of fresh air among the regular, cookie-cutter business podcast, because of topics, variety of formats, a blend of practical tips and spiritual strategies... it’s hard to describe but that’s only because it’s so unique.

    Helping So Much During Quarantine
Years from now when I am telling tales about surviving the 2020 Pandemic, I am going to say that there was a podcast that played a vital role for me. It’s this one. Jenny Blake, Dr. MJC, and the other guests are providing a wonderful blend of information, insight, and inspiration. I’m so grateful for them and the Pivoting Around a Pandemic series.

A positive and realistic voice during COVID-19
I am really appreciating the daily podcasts Jenny Blake is putting out during this pandemic time. The variety of information is useful and calming.

Thank you for episode 159 - Pivoting around a pandemic!
Jenny, Thank you to you and Dr. Michael Consuelos for your beautiful, informative and honest discussion about the Coronavirus, how it may affect entrepreneurs and corporations, what we may all learn from each other and how to pivot during this time. This is the best conversation I’ve heard about this, on podcasts, TV, anywhere. So thoughtful, actionable and, as you always are, compassionate. I can see you both doing several episodes (like a miniseries) around this topic. Thank you again, Elayne

    My favorite podcast!
I love Jenny’s podcast! It is by far my favorite podcast, her voice is like a hug with a smile. Jenny’s ability to give space to her guest to answer questions and ask great questions show she has researched them thoroughly. The reverence for her guest and excitement is palpable in her voice. The topics are wide ranging, always touching on a Pivot of some sort, but I feel like I’m getting a master class in life lessons too! Not a day goes by when I don’t listen to Jenny.

Change can feel like failure ... but pivoting feels fresh & exciting
What an uplifting, inspiring & valuable podcast! If you’re not dealing with major change maybe you’re missing out on a potential quantum leap forward. Great podcast for everyone asking what their next chapter may be.

Musical voice, but advertised episodes are too frequently missing
When the content is focused on career pivots, it’s very helpful. Jenny puts a refreshing, new-economy spin on a Tired topic. I even found the second Penny Pierce episode inspiring. But too often Jenny advertises the new episode and it’s not available. So I’ve given up. I’m ignoring the emails and listening to my other podcasts. Also, sometimes the episode can sound too giggley. It’s fun to listen to a musical voice like Jenny’s. It’s always on the verge of laughing but sometimes that tone doesn’t fit the content. sometimes it sounds more like guest flattery, than a considered conversation. I want to like her podcasts. I really do. But Get her book, instead. It’s great.

    Wonderful podcast!
I was very impressed with Jenny. She recently interviewed me on her Pivot Podcast and she was well prepared and thoughtful. Her questions were thought provoking and got right to the heart of my message. Her message to her listeners is unique and she does a great job of distilling the important points from her interviewees to offer value to those looking to improve or change their careers. Looking forward to reading her book next. My advice: Subscribe!

    Domesticating the Dragons!!!
I find this podcast really inspiring. Jenny deals with CHANGE, which is one of the most stressful topics to think about and mess with. And she looks it in the eye, and **gently** guides the listeners through the possibilities. It's not trivial to make such, let's admit, intimidating issue seem exciting and doable. I like the mix of inspiring stories, of non-obnoxious how-to advice, and the general pleasant energetic vibe.

    Thoughtful and engaging interviews!
Jenny's knowledge and enthusiasm shine through every episode of Pivot -- each podcast episode is engaging and full of practical insights and inspiration. I love any podcast where I can jump around depending on my interest in the topic and/or guest. So far, my two favorite episodes featured Martha Beck and Petra Kolber. Jump in -- there's no wrong choice.

    Engaging, Energetizing, Expanding
Wow. This podcast pulled me in so deeply just from the first 8 mins! I greatly appreciated how her best selling author guest, Neil, clearly stated how vital it is to Unplug from the rhythm of constantly being hungry for being the best of the best. I truly enjoyed hearing his inspirational story and how even someone who is a long running best seller isn't caught in the trap of constantly comparing. Do it for you, is a huge take away. Insightful, inspiring and actionable
Jenny has the credentials, the skill set, and the contact list to hit a podcast out of the park, and she does just that on a consistent basis. She brings on stellar guests who offer concrete, actionable advice - and she offers it up herself in some episodes. The authenticity and sense of genuine wonder that Jenny bring to her podcast are rare and inspiring. It's worth subscribing for exposure to that alone - and yet this podcast offers so much more. I look forward to it each week

Inspiring & interesting takes on business and personal development
Jenny Blake's Pivot podcast is a full of inspiring and interesting insights and interviews. When sharing her lessons, Jenny is transparent, and provides a guide for how to apply what she learned. When interviewing guests, her questions ensure that the listener both gets to know their story as well as hears their perspective on what they have accomplished and how they got to where and what they are now. This is a great podcast for anyone interested in entrepreneurship, personal development, or thoughtful business practices.

I can’t take my ears off her.
Jenny is a delight. I’m looking forward to her book! I think some episodes are a little too long, but that is my own personal preference. I’m a huge Tim Ferris fan, but I won’t listen to even his 2 hour podcasts. Seeing a 56 minute episode “Up Next” doesn’t excite me, but they don’t drag at all. The content is great. The interviews are engaging, and I just like the sound of her voice. I can’t take my ears off her!
  • MelaniWard
    Inspiration for those navigating change
Jenny is the real McCoy! I love this podcast because no matter what change you're navigating - career, life, relationships, health - Jenny shares guests, research and personal stories that bring you in and inspire you to keep moving forward. Her interview style is fabulous and no matter the topic I can feel, "see" and hear her smiles come through the mic. One of the best parts of my day - wish they were daily :)

This Jenny Speaks To Me - a 45yr old, professional coach, African American woman business owner!!!
Just finished listening to a second podcast, the one How Meditation Re-Wired My Brain + Five Tips for Making the Habit Stick and I’m officially a NEW fan. Five years ago Jenny Blake’s platform didn’t resonate with me, but now - wow!!! I’m happy that I found my way back to her work-spirit-personal insights… I’m a 45 year old African American woman, professional weight loss coach and own/operator a small weight loss studio; and I’m GRATEFUL!! I found a younger woman who is grounded, smart, relevant and ambitious to speak into my life and on the “surface” she’s NOT like me #lovediversity

    So Jenny!
If you've read her writing, you know that Jenny is wicked smart, fun, helpful and real. Her podcast is even better than her writing (if that's possible) - because it's so Jenny! Can't get enough - from the great guests to the genuine conversations that help me think about my own life and business, I'm hooked. I so didn't want/need another podcast to keep up with, but this one just rose to the top of my must-listen list. Love, love, love.
