Penelope 31Just What I NeededOnce I found Kendra, I never looked back. She’s so compassionate in the way she helps me create some order and balance in my life. I have even purchased two of her books and can read them through in her voice. It’s like your sister being right there to walk you through life!

imahowell11Thank you!I enjoy hearing Kendra talk about how we can better plan for ourselves and our families. She’s funny and kind and realistic and enjoys reading! I love that she loves Jesus too! And I appreciate that she cares about her, her husband and her kids emotional well-being as well. I feel like I’m listening to a friend whenever an episode plays. Thanks y’all!

KwpalmoreLike advice from a friendLove this podcast! Helps me feel on top of things and thoughtful in a cozy and hand held presentation. Like to listen while I fold laundry, clean the house, or feel generally overwhelmed by kids or house things.

CASHnDAXMy go to podcast for big sister advice.Listening to Kendra is like listening to a good friend or older sister who has your back. She offers practical advice (which I use every day!), but also reminds her listeners to be kind to themselves and offers such wonderful wisdom on how to be our best selves. I am a more organized, intentional, and self – loving person because of her influence. After listening to her for years, I trust her wisdom and recommendations wholeheartedly!

Marisa MaloneyLittle Pep TalksThe Lazy Genius Podcasts are like life pep talks. Always relatable with start small actions I can do right away. No program, no book required. Just big sister energy encouraging me to get up off the couch and do something or sit there and finish my book.

Cortney BrazilGroundingThis podcast is one I look forward to each week. I’ve been listening for YEARS and there honestly hasn’t been one episode where I wasn’t able to take away at least a small point to help my life or mindset. Kendra is genuine and fun, the big sister we all need.
-

Ekf26Love this podcastKendra is so kind and compassionate and I love hearing her take on things. It’s like having a friend who reminds you to take care of yourself and nudges you in the direction that you want to go with laughter and compassion.

knittymama29My ADHD lifeline!Although Kendra does not bill this podcast as for people with ADHD, she is also the absolutely only person who has helped this working mom be able to manage her own life. Kendra is not only compassionate, she’s also an absolute genius on how to organize and plan in a way that actually works for me, because every time I get overwhelmed or stuck all I have to do is think of her question, “what matters?” and I can start to break it down. If I could only listen to one podcast each week, this would be it!

ABee0705AwesomeEvery episode is filled with great information. Kendra gives great tips and makes me feel good about myself

lbjccPractical yet tailored for youAlways enjoy listening to the Lazy Genius podcast. While practical, I Love the reoccurring reminder to be a genius about things that matter to You (not others) and lazy about things that don’t matter to you. We’re all different and that’s wonderful so we don’t have to do things that same as everyone.

CCtheHSEarliest episodes are the bestI give 5 starts to episodes from the beginning up until around early 2024. Those episodes gave lots of practical tips that made life much easier! After 2024-ish, the episodes began to veer into more therapy-speak, sort of like mindset work. If that’s something you love, you’ll like the newer episodes also. I’m a professional therapist and I don’t auto download the new episodes any longer, simply because I prefer practical steps/ideas as opposed to ideal-oriented discussions.
-
RachaelCWYour weekly pep talk podcastKendra is like your big sister/ bestie who’s always there with the best advice. She’s funny and smart and gives you permission not to be a perfectionist.
-
Monica76543An angel on my shoulderI started with the Lazy Genius podcast and have since read two of Kendra’s books and her newsletter. I have learned little tidbits in each podcast episode that are adding up to create mindset shifts. I like having Kendra’s perspective in my head to balance - be a reality check - when something else I read or hear makes me think I’m lacking and in need of major self improvement. Her kind approach feels comfortable and reasonable. Her voice on the podcast is so friendly and I always feel relaxed and empowered after listening to her message.
-
lmkowalkLove it!A million thanks to Kendra for helping me rethink and unlearn so many processes in my life!

G. RaiCalming approach to lifeIn a working where ppl are overwhelming us with big to do lists and things we should do and not do etc, Kendra’s podcast is like a breath of fresh air. It’s like talking to an old friend and talking about seasons of life. She has practical ideas for all situations but without it being a burden. My 4 yo also loves to listen to the podcast and she lovingly calls her Kendra Aunty. Keep up the good work!
-
Tbug362Life changing!Kendra takes a gentle and achievable approach to making small changes to make your life how you want it. It’s changed my daily routine to help it work for me and keeps me laughing with her down to earth style.

jackiet07bringing me life as a mom of 2 littlesI’ve enjoyed Kendra’s books and practical life advice for a while now, but the content she’s been pushing out lately has been meeting me in a deep way- she’s just so good!!! every episode lately feels like she’s speaking to me in this very chaotic and hard season as a mom of a 2 year old and 7 mo old, small biz owner, and person with adhd. I send these episodes to my friends regularly, and when I meet someone new who listens, I know we are gonna be GOOD friends. This podcast is saving my motherhood journey, helping me get my dishes done (and helping me ok with not getting them done), and making me think differently about all of the problems im constantly trying to solve. Your words are giving me life Kendra and I wish I could hug you (really, be hugged by you) in real life!!!
-
GrrlMindsetWorth whileI love the tips, exercises, and principles! Especially “decide once”. I also enjoy how she shared her personal experience and brought her sister in on a few episodes. I recently went back and caught up on the first season and it’s another crazy election year so it fit right in! Btw, episode 409 could need called “How to Deal with Kids When You Don’t Have Kids” for those of us without kids.
-

ListenerLizAdvice that actually works! This is a favorite podcast of mine! It has a loving, low-pressure vibe like hanging out with a girlfriend. It helps me refocus on what’s important to me and feel more inspired to take small, manageable steps. I love texting with friends who also listen, and I regularly share the concepts with work colleagues and friends and family. Highly recommend!

ThebeautifultruthRefreshing. Life Giving. FREEINGKendra brings such kind truth in this show. And every new episode is fun and light hearted BUT always so grounding. She’s constantly reminding us that life doesn’t have to be so complicated! We won’t ever be perfect and we don’t even need to try to be. I just can’t say it enough…add this to your weekly rhythm of podcasts!

Kristy_R 123Saved my sanityI listen to this podcast regularly but episode #408 Three Surprising Steps to a Clean House may have saved my sanity this week. My home includes a teenager whose cleanliness threshold varies wildly from my own. I have tried every tactic I can imagine to encourage a cleaner room and often find myself becoming a version of a parent that I don’t like in my constant nagging. But if I consider that this is a season and adjust my expectations, I can at least hold on to a bit of sanity while my teenager discovers what her version of cleanliness will be. Thank you, Kendra!
