After hearing the billionaire podcast, I lost all respect for Shared Practices. The owners are complete sociopaths.

They teach good principles, but I’ve personally heard a lot of horror stories from their past staff members. Stories of practices that suddenly close giving no notice to patients or staff, broken promises, and a general vibe of not being as patient-centered as they claim to be. Again, I feel like the principles they teach are good, but it may be beneficial to have a healthy dose of skepticism due to their real-world actions.

Changed my life as a pre-owner, and still delivers to bring amazing content information as an owner. Keep inspiring shared practices team!

The Shared Practices podcast is the best dental podcast in providing high-value, actionable information for young dentists who hope to get into practice ownership at some point in their career. Listening to this podcast will help you get clarity on what exactly you want your career in Dentistry to look like. Not only that, but you will also have a pretty good idea of how to get where you want as quickly and efficiently as possible. Highly recommend to all dental students and young dentists.

I’m a 3rd year dental student. Like everyone, my time to listen to podcasts is small. I’ve tried a lot of dental podcasts. This with Dr Richard keeps things to the topic, and they stay focused on the discussion at hand. Also I highly recommend listening in chronological order. It feels like I’m learning side by side with Richard.

This podcast is so motivational. As a D4 during these pandemic times, it’s easy to get down by all the craziness happening, but the podcast is light keeping me doing what I love

The podcast shows you ownership for what it is and I love that! They don’t try to make it seem like it will be easy but they def show that it is worth it if you’re up for a challenge! Dental school doesn’t teach you anything about business but this podcast will! I wish I had listened to this podcast while still in Dental School, because I would’ve have come out a lot more prepared for dentistry even if I wanted to be an associate for the rest of my life!

I wish I would’ve known about this podcast earlier in my journey as I had already submitted my LOI prior to being introduced to this podcast by a fellow Midwestern classmate. I’m really happy I found this podcast. I’m only on season 2 but that’s been the most helpful for me because I’m in the process of transitioning into private practice. I loved going through the valuation process for different practice types and all the great resources.
