Miles can’t shut up and he hates being wrong or when Peter makes a good point over his. He’s a bad edition to the show.

If you’re going to interview someone, let them speak! Every “interview” is the same - Peter does most of the talking. Interrupts constantly with his own opinion. Also, please stop saying “Look”!

I started following football many years ago through the eyes of Paul Zimmerman and made a smooth transition to Peter King as the most knowledgeable authority on the game. Every time Peter starts a sentence or a question with the words “I wonder…” I know that he’s about to ask a about something interesting. No one does it better. There is a reason why the best podcasters are forever writers and journalists.

Pay attention to how often King (over)uses the word “obviously”. I ask myself “what am I listening to this for since I should already know everything that he’s telling me because it’s OBVIOUS?”.

My only issue with streaming games is I fear the games looking as poor as the Amazon Prime games looked this past season. *I was already a Prime user, so I had high expectations the games would be similar quality as normal content. The production quality was several steps below the normal DirecTV experience. Some times the picture scrambled, lagged, the position of the scores on the screen was awkward at times. This wasn’t just a me a thing, this is talking with my brother & hundreds of co-workers and guests at the Casino I work at. Even our Barstools Sports Bar guests noticed the drop in production quality from a normal Sunday or Monday game compared to those Amazon Prime Thursday Night game. Switching to YouTube TV from DirecTV should ultimately save me some money if I make the switch because as a 12yr customer I don’t get the discounts even 2nd level package still costs me $130 + a month and that increases to about $200+ a month with nfl package.

Peter is entitled to his far left opinions but …. We just want sports. Pass.

Too political…not what sports fans want. Keep the opinions on sports…stay in your lane and it will help you.

Peter King is an absolute legend, which is the only reason I’m giving this podcast more than 1 star. The editing is so horrendous though, it feels like every 3 to 5 minutes or so the audio cuts back to and repeats itself back in the middle of a conversation, sometimes by 30 seconds or more. It’s infuriating and makes me not want to listen because of how badly it throws me off. Again, Peter is great, but the editing is such a mess that it makes it unlistenable.

Love ya buddy. But you’ve gotten worse every week. Please get yourself well. Please. It’s a very hard listen when one is so coughinglly sick. Had to turn it off.

You need someone to edit this better. I like the podcast but there’s always a problem with the edits and it repeats sometimes.

Love the show but for gods sakes Peter TURN UP THE VOLUME!!!!! It’s wonderful but even when I have my headphones on I strain to hear. Before you ask I have great hearing. When someone is on the phone forget about it. Come on Peter & Cadence I hate missing things so get on it! Though I’ve loved this podcast in all its forms I’ve gotta unfollow it. I’ve given it over a year to clear up Pete’s audio. I’m not alone in this complaint. The MMQB was great for sound. WTH happened? Let me know if it gets better.✌️

Don’t always agree with Mr King but I respect his views. And he has great interviews with his guests

I still listen because I used to read Peter King in his Sports Illustrated days but it might be time to let this go. This podcast has slowly gone downhill over the last few years. Really you can point to 2020 since it went downhill. Paul the brown noser brings nothing to the table except agreeing with Peter. If you are looking for a football podcast go to Adam Schefter.

Please opt to get some sound equipment equal to the host’s standards and the quality guest of the interview. Bad audio reflects your opinion of your own production being unworthy of quality technical support which makes your program below the standard that the public expects from Axios. Man up! Interviews of the quality you present deserve top effort to show respect to their standards - all.

I really appreciate the interviews you do on the commute with the coach like in #285. You just can’t steal the name from Mark Rosewater’s podcast (check a pre-2020 one). I hope one of your upcoming guests are into Magic on the side. You find great stories and bring out the things that are tangible like a drive to work or trading card game that help us really relate to these NFL personalities. Thank you!

Poor sound quality. Peter is beyond his prime

I’m an American who grew up overseas and served much of my adult life outside the country. Football is something I learned about on visits to the States and it was part of my American identity. So I’m grateful for this podcast which helps me understand things better at various levels. One thing that could be improved is the audio levels during interviews. For some reason the guest is much louder than Peter, which is the opposite of what you’d expect. Great content, though! Thank you!

Peter, I have much respect for what you do, and I’ve enjoyed your work since MMQB. Just a little feedback: please turn off your notifications on your phone or silence it when recording this podcast. There are numerous chimes and bells coming though each episode. Thanks and keep up the great work.

I really like Peter King, but he is even better when paired with Paul Burmeister. I hope they bring Paul back to talk with Peter.

Peter is my favorite football guy so I should love this but it sounds like a couple of seventh graders in an echo chamber. Come on, be professional please. Get some pro equipment and a sound engineer.

I don’t think I’ve ever viscerally disliked someone more than Peter King after a few episodes of a podcast. I don’t enjoy his voice or editorializing. He’s often condescending and judgmental in his openings. It’s really off-putting and arrogant. I listen for the guests, but would honestly prefer listening to basically anyone else interview them. King is also completely deferential to the guests, which is antagonistic to journalism. He’ll brutally condemn individuals in his opening and then brown nose the people he actually has an opportunity to ask pointed questions. It’s almost the perfect encapsulation of how the press has failed in recent decades.

Great writer, good insight. But the audio is too terrible to listen to anymore. Its sounds like a cut-and-paste ransom note. Fixit and I’ll be back

Peter, get a tech person to look into the better ways to record remotely. Just not good enough.

‪I believe there aren’t enough people of color writing NFL-Based columns and hosting podcasts through NBC Sports. Clearly your bosses ignored qualified journalists of color to give you your job. Who cares how hard you’ve worked to get here. Skin color is what matters most. Your decades of hard work, of building relationships within the business, of writing columns that sell magazines or clicks or advertising, none of that matters. All that matters is that you took the job from a minority. Shame on you.

The last month he has started every podcast virtue signaling over the Rooney rule and giving a headcount of minority coaches/execs and exclaiming how it isn’t enough despite the circumstantial reality of it. After that he reads an excerpt from his written column for ten minutes. He’ll get a spot recorded interview here and there. I gave him a sub years ago on the older Pk podcast because he would get great long form interviews, but this pod has strayed far from that. There is way better NFL coverage in the podcast world, save your time.

Peter King struggles to understand the podcast platform that is it. He constantly treats guest like they’re on radio, going back & mentioning who he’s speaking to every 5 minutes. Such poor flow of conversation or questions. It feels more like the Chris Farley skit with Paul McCartney than a professional podcast. Also the sound quality is usually subpar; Peter interviews guests with poor cell reception so he can repeat the same question 3 times as he fumbles threw another episode. Love his columns & the occasional TV appearance, but this podcast is 💩

Hopefully the Mara/Tish organization More then plods on. My Father had Giant tickets since the mid 40’s . My brother has retained then . We all grew up with no choice but to LOVE the Giants.
