Keeps the interviewee the focus of conversation. Highlights the parts of their story that are important to the listener. Well done.

One of the freshest podcast that I look forward to hearing every week. A sort of behind the scenes history lesson as you're walked through the graffiti landscape of the 70's, 80's and 90's, depending on the guest fo course. The podcast does a great job of paying tribute to the legends and at the same time making sure to not forget the lesser known pioneers of the movement.

    The history of culture.
The best interviews, and interesting stories from some of the great characters that this culture has to offer. In learning about some of these writer's "Life in Letters", you also get a look at the development of the culture in different cities. If you are into graff, art, stories, or just huffing paint, you will love this podcast.

    Personal Insights of Graffiti Culture
Real graff culture from an insider perspective, I love this podcast because of the personal stories told about growing up in graff. Every episode tells a unique part about a the often unknown and misunderstood nuances of graffiti from way back until today.

    Fantastic
A great concept for a show and the guest roster is a who’s who of the style writing game. If you want to learn about the history of this great American art form, this is a great place to start.

    MyLifeInLetters
My Life in Letters has certainly become a very important podcast for me. Driving to work Monday morning. The first thing I listen to is this. Hearing the raw conversation of true graff legends. I just can’t get enough of it! For me Arek, Daver and Con episodes were just so good! Lots of love from Baltimore!!!

    Pretty dope
Good podcast Adam really is passionate about Graff and I appreciate his interest in the begginings and origins. I feel like he does spend a little too much time in the minutiae of early toyness. I think it gets tiring if you listen frequently. I am interested but Im also interseted in what the artist is doing now, whats good now yo? Plus dude interupts a lot. Just to take it back to an old toy name. I get he what hes going for but the natural conersation has already moved on. Do we really need to know where dude used to rack? Anyway dispite my critisism I'm still a fan and like the podcast very much.Props to Adam for making a good podcast. I hope to hear from more writers.

    So insightful!
Super fun to learn about the history and journey of each individual artist. Adam does a great job leading the conversations and pulling stories out of each interviewee!

    Thank You
I was afraid a podcast like this might come off corny or boring, but the series is quite great. The talks have a natural flow/feel to them that aren't filled with endless bravado, but with authentic reverence for graff culture. Having grown up in SF and seeing a lot of this stuff first-hand, it's a nice little history lesson and reminder of an era that has continued to shape my life.

    Great documentation on Writing History
In this day and age where youth do not get direction or official sources of documentation on "graffiti" writing, My Life in Letters guides the listener to a vivid, colorful history of San Francisco graffiti through personal stories that books do not explain. Iʻm glad that a graffiti writer from SF that was a part of our history interviews writers from our history. Adam Fujita gracefully leads each interviewee to paint their personal memories to let the viewer enjoy the stories with their own visuals. Many kids growing up today just see photos online of what writers of the "Golden Age of Graffiti." My Life In Letters brings the listener back to what actually occured in the early days of writing through personal perspectives of different graffiti crews. I thoroughly enjoyed this and hope it continues so I can enjoy more artist interviews that reflect the Hip-Hop culture of the Bay Area.
