As a Kentuckian and a bourbon enthusiast, I was extremely disappointed with the first podcast I listened to. It was an episode from September 19, 2024 and, unfortunately, ten minutes of time was devoted to a discussion of your favorite zoo. As a frequent host of bourbon tasting events in my home, I hoped to be able to include your podcast as a valuable source of information. I was mistaken. As we say in my neck of the woods, “ Bless your heart.”

The show and its wide variety of cast is 10/10. This podcast is the perfect blend of good conversation between a group of people that starts to feel like friends (even if you have never even met the people on the show) and knowledge or certain individuals views on the industry and products. If you’re a whiskey lover, looking for a good laugh, or wanting to learn, this is the podcast for you. Hit play and escape everyday life

This diverse crew of bourbon fans bring a quick show every day, and are very approachable. Their knowledge could allow them to become snobs…instead, they are friendly and interactive. I catch it every day.

Loved the show, but the audio is terrible. Sounds like your speakers are turned up to max volume. Tried different speakers and a different podcast app, same thing. Ended up unsubscribing because I couldn’t handle the audio quality. Fix it and I’ll come back!

If you want to listen to self absorbed people who have deemed themselves the bourbon judge and jury, this podcast is for you. If they provided actual bourbon news it might be tolerable. Instead they play stupid “rate my collection” games. Awful.

This Podcast will cure the blues for anyone. This Jolee Kasprzak has the hottest voice of these special guests.

Lots of talk but not enough good info. Choosing favorite bourbons without tasting by drawing people to eliminate one. Enough with the bottle cork pull. Seems more interested in advertising then info.

You can literally fast forward through the first 10 min and skip the last 5 min. So there is usually about 10 min of actual content in each podcast. Also half the time the guests have no actual experience or understanding of the topic or the whiskey/bourbon because they haven’t even tried them.

Quite an impressive collection that was presented on show # 472 by Tom. I would have rated his collection with a score of 90 for the mere fact his collection was just for show and did not embrace the spirit of sharing bourbon with friends. To Tom’s credit he did disclose he was a collector and would one day would open the bottles but I seriously doubt he would be to eager to share his 1966 bourbon. Bonus Show - Eagle Rare Bourbon Award- thanks Steve, this was a great Show!! Keep the hits playing...this Podcast is the Best!!! I would hope you would consider Even Kulsveen as an old guard Great and should also be considered for the Bourbon Hall of Fame!!!

The rotating list of guests varies on this show, but most share one thing in common- they really don’t know much about bourbon. On one of the most recent episodes, they went through a list of the top rated bourbons of the last decade (or something like that) and the hosts hadn’t tried many of the bottles on the list.

I love listening to this podcast when I’m traveling or working out! It makes the time fly due to it being very informative as well as entertaining! Keep up the good work, guys!! joelt_bourbon_neat

I was lucky to find this podcast. I truly enjoy it. It’s always changing and talking about so many aspects of the bourbon industry. I really like all the various host and guest that bring so much knowledge to the table. The other network shows are worth trying too. You won’t regret it.

Large doses of fun, and bourbon information are offered up by the ABV network gang. Their personalities show through, and their opinions seem sincere (which I appreciate: not everyone likes every bourbon: you get to hear the different opinions). All aspects of bourbon do get discussed, and they also have interviews with people in the industry. I've learned a lot from the ABV shows, and continue to enjoyed the journey.

A lot of fluff

I’m relatively new to the Bourbon Community, and I wanted to get more concise information than a friend’s recommendation on what to drink. What fascinates me about Bourbon is that like the game of Golf, it is a sub-culture, with a great deal of history, folklore, and etiquette that most casual drinkers are unaware of. This podcast provides a variety of guests, with enough variation of viewpoints to keep it interesting. Each episode is also normally less than a half hour long, making it ideal to listen to just about any time of day. I highly recommend it to any new or budding Bourbon enthusiasts.

They gang does a good job with content and keeping things fresh. I've taken something away from each episode. Totally a find of a podcast. The finale of bourbon survivor turned in to an awesome drinking game with a friend on a day off. I didn't see the ending coming. Keep up the good work.

Show #177 Managing Retailer Relationships - Enjoy shows like this. Relatively new to bourbon so I like the shows that share knowledge about bourbon. Stopped at my local store and bought a store-picked Elijah Craig Small Batch.

love the show, really love the format. The show has a great variety from guests, to games, history and pop culture. Usually 30-45 minutes so great for a commute, makes it seem like far less.
