One of you guys should run for office
One of you guys should run for office. Otherwise, this pod is a CIA front & no one trusts your excellent pod. Hint to the masses: when you listen to these long-format pods, skip to the last 1/3rd to hear the real message. They hook you in with the first 2/3rds, then reveal in last 1/3rd. This goes for everyone inc. Joe R.

    I like this podcast
The trillbillies are my favorite export export from Appalachian. Their experience is totally alien to my own but they show universally unpleasant life under capitalism is.

    Good news
    These guys are not sellouts.

    End it early sometimes
Once someone in the show asks how much time they got, it usually drags until they hit that hour. Just end it early, less is more

Gaby, I love you but if you say ā€œlikeā€ one more time, Iā€™m gonna kms.
    That is all.

    THESE THREE ARE GREAT!
Whether youā€™re listening to the earlier eps with Tanya or the newer ones with Aaron, they are all crack-ups and very class conscious. Honestly Iā€™ve never learned some random fact while laughing this much.

Keep Aaron off of the pod
He doesnā€™t let the podcast flow and doesnā€™t act like a goof.
  • Flora Racine
    I miss Tanya
Have Tanya back on. Even just for a one time thing.

Theyā€™re smart and funny, what else could you ask for?

    Funny
That Nosferatu ep was like a boxer getting pummeled, then in the last round they start swinging wildly, landing bombs, winning by knockout

    Aaron is great
Tarence and Tom are both fantastic, but I saw someone complaining about Aaron and I will not stand for it. The Trillbillies is one of my favorite podcasts of all time. Thank you for all you do!

    Aaron is annoying
Third mic Aaron is annoying and doesnā€™t know what heā€™s talking about most of the time. Aaron episodes are almost unlistenable do to his voice sounding like he needs to blow his nose.

    Builds class consciousness
This podcast will help you build class consciousness. Americans, you need this. Trust.

Great mix of insightful analysis, impressive moral clarity, some great bits, and some of the worst extended bits youā€™ll hear in your life

    Meh
Some insight, some humor, mostly inane. Every now and then they slip in a listenable episode. The rest I bypass.

Sharp, funny takedowns of a sā€”-hole dying empire
These three cats are sharp! They consistently dish out well deserved, thoughtful and FUNNY takes on current events informed by their solid grasp of history, economics and sociology. Their moral outrage at the catastrophe of the sā€”-hole dying US empire and its evil banality is so refreshing.

    Bob Dylan
Screw all you losers who donā€™t like the bob dylan impression. The show is great without it and excellent with it.
  • Lostjar
    Great butā€¦
Please replace Aaron with someone who has something to say.
  • nnnjru
    The obvious problem
These darn people keep reminding me that the blatant wrong is so much so that itā€™s tired to laugh at it. Why care so angry. Blzt. (Get Aaron on the episode notes)

Liberals hating, but needing, The Left
This workers party podcast is always very relatable. When the hosts were discussing people watching the murder, destruction and genocidal acts in Gaza, I could only think about the many acts that American forces committed in Iraq and Afghanistan, those that we learned about, that may have been equivalent.

    Essential
Was always a great show but recently, especially with the coverage of Gaza, this really feels like essential listening.

    Get rid of Aaron
I really enjoy this show, but you really need to get rid of Aaron. He is a nice enough guy, but he is just not good at podcasting. He cannot finish a thought, or a sentence, and seems to have a hard time tracking what youā€™re talking aboutand too often steps all over what you were trying to convey.
  • Slimdickly
    They get it
And they know what theyā€™re talking about
  • Kathleen.mh
    Good in a crisis
When thereā€™s nothing in particular going on in the world or in the media I tend to skip listening but theyā€™re very good commentators on specific current events and when they bring on special guests to talk about specific issues
  • reallyclevername
    Reagan
I like listening. I am an anarchist so I don't agree with the decidedly constrained view of history and politics that communists have. But I laugh a lot. Until recently, when there were comments that could only be interpreted as not full throated condemnation of Reagan. That's a bridge too far to me. I was born in 1977. Everything bad that happened to me, my family, my neighbors, my city... all Reagan. Clinton just picked up where Reagan left off. With some child rape in the mix. But we're still living with the Reagan program. Unsubscribed.

    Great listen
Iā€™ve appreciated how they talk through current affairs for several years now. Just figured out how to comment now. I think their most recent episode is an important listen, much like Chapoā€™s last ep. Great stuff. Also miss Tanya and hope sheā€™s well.
  • KittyNattie
I still miss Tanya but this past episode was excellent
This past episode was SO good! I really think yā€™all need that female perspective. I laughed I cried, great stuff from beginning to end!

    Was great, now itā€™s good

    Came for the cumshirt
stayed for the songs about having a tiny peen edit: Kinda wish Aaron was lessā€¦ academic. I dunno. The charm of the Trillbillies is the fact that you guys arenā€™t forcing rhetoric onto the listeners. please justā€¦ give me the bleach, boys, and bleach my hole.

    Worried about my Friends.
Yes, there are many that do care, deeply for you Tanya. And Terrance , you two finished, gracefully, and Tonya You make more sense than just about anyone I have heard in the last Month. Poor Tom couldnā€™t catch a break. Things will get better. Have faith. Iā€™m just so happy to hear again this week, you 3 are remaining healthy. And look forward, to your next Podcast. Take a breath, and know, we will always be here, waiting for your voices. Ok Friends. Donā€™t worry about a thing. Everything will be alright. Iā€™m 72, and I know these things.

    Pros and Cons.
These guys are pretty funny. I enjoyed their perspectives and the banter had clever and amusing moments. I also learned some stuff, which I love. I would like to keep listening but my brain canā€™t handle the constant interrupting and talking over each other. And the incessant use of ā€œlikeā€ just pushed me over the edge. Canā€™t do it.
