courtmartialIām ruinedWhat have I been wasting my time listening to? Everything else in comparison now seems beige and blehā¦how is this not #1?
-
CatEyesWRXAwesomeBest true crime podcasts
-
Indy_317ExhaustingThe constant side bars are exhausting to listen to. This podcast run time could be fit in half if they would fit out the nonstop pointless side bars. Complete lack of compassion/respect for victims.
-
Chloeās IphoneBest Podcast Ever!I absolutely love yalls show!! I have noticed every few months Iām not following the pod anymore though and I have to refollow you?? Super weird, idk how to let Apple know that though.

Jeannette. A.Goodbye RedHandedI have been listening for 2 years and after the Menendez case I bid farewell and looks like Iām not alone. Clearly had a bias view prior and would have been better not to report this case. The limited research and lack of new information presented makes me think they just watched Ryan Murphyās show. The last straw was victim shaming and claiming no evidence when there has been evidence you could google. And finally, blaming the female jurors that their āmaternal instinctā got the best of them to believe the victims. Disgusting. Goodbye.

manderelli89A classic true crime podcastI feel that Hannah and Suruthi do an excellent job delivering true crime in a considerate and intelligent way that is sensitive to those affected by these crimes and rightfully brutal to the perpetrators. I appreciate the different perspectives and the variety of stories throughout the world they both share that deserve to be told to honor the people that have been lost, the survivors, and their loved ones. Thank you both for being such dedicated, honest, and caring storytellers.
-
msierra270.Did you do any real research in to the Menendez case or did you only watch Ryan Murphys show.
-
Jenwen234Love their personalitiesMy only ācomplaintā is that Hannahās voice is often louder than Suruthi so itās hard to find a volume that you can hear one of them without the other being unpleasantly loud. They are two very smart and funny brits! I love how accepting and open minded. The stories are interesting. Anyone upset about their political opinion should realize that they arenāt Americans. The whole world doesn't need to be an American Cosplaytriotš

Scooching in HereSo Utterly DisappointedI thought I had found a great true crime podcast so have been going through the archive ā Iām appalled at the lack of care and compassion that these hosts have for victims (specifically citing the Colleen Stan podcast). I am genuinely shocked at the way they presented this case and really cannot continue listening to them after hearing this. The more I learn about the injustices this podcast has committed against victims, the more I am nauseated. There is such blatant xenophobia and classism riddled throughout their alleged analyses ā which also significantly lack actual research ā that itās impossible to support any longer.

Mrs. He8ertLove this podcast!I look forward to hearing from these ladies every day. I think I found my favorite podcast! Love you girls keep up the great work!
-
lyonessa33F never sounded betterMore than the crime itself, listening to you two drop f bombs in your wonderful English accents is what keeps me coming back. Love your banter.
-
AznH0bbitUnfortunately UnsubscribingI LOVE the amazing work these ladies have done, do, and will do. Unfortunately, I found out Wondery (their parent company) is owned by Amazon and I cannot continue in good conscience as a listener.
-
matrixie73Look No FurtherIf you are looking for a true crime podcast this is it. Donāt look anywhere else. This is the best true crime podcast PERIOD!!
-
MrinexIām spoiledThereās no podcast better than Redhanded. I learn something new about history, politics, science . But the best part is that the presenters donāt go on and on about themselves.
-
Lolaaaaa725Mixed experienceI appreciate how the hosts structure stories in most cases and they have particularly nice voices but they have some pretty bad, uninformed takes at some points. Maybe a handful times an episode theyāll either have a random aside or hot take on the case that make no sense and are sometimes even rude
-
FrankBlack24FantasticIām really grateful for the high quality content and especially the vulgar language. Since Iām not you know a child or so uptight I clutch pearls into dust I really prefer my podcasts talk to me like a friend. If I wanna be lied to and talked to like a child Iāll hit up Fox News. Thank god these women are badasses and keep us entertained.
-
reallyriley19AmazingYāall are amazing. Who ever thought listening to True Crime could be soothing. Yāallās voices are so soothing yāall are funny love the banter why did it take me so long to find yāall keep doing this!!! Gotta give a shout out to the Morbid Girls for having you on I would have never known this is where I am supposed to be I really wish I could give you all 10 stars love yall soooo much
-
Sammy224467Unnecessary foul languageThe content is very interesting, however the vulgar language is not necessary, unfollowing today
-
jggnac1TerribleWhy canāt these ladies(I use loosely) own up to being wrong! They should admit when they are wrong and more on. I would come back to listening but canāt get past there bad character
-
Sugaree348I Adore RH butā¦One of the more attractive features of RedHanded has been the intelligent, creative and interesting content. Unfortunately there seem to be more and more painfully one-sided interruptions as of late that come across as painfully arrogant and are truly off-putting. Youāre better and smarter than that!
-
Thisnicknameistaken-Loved at firstI like the show, itās honestly good. Thereās too much of the f-word unfortunately, and they donāt seem to like the USA very much. Suruthi can reeeeeally monologue. I hit fast-forward literally 6 times and she was still going. They can be funny though, so hopefully it doesnāt wear on me.
-
WhiskeyJinxedNever before, never againIāve never left a review on a podcast before, but I feel compelled to write this⦠while I love your topics and find your shows very well written and your voices very pleasing to listen to, your habit of whispering all the important information you want to emphasize while turning up the volume on the commercials, makes it impossible for me to enjoy your show unless I keep one hand on my phone to adjust the sound continually. I canāt believe Iām alone in having this reaction to your delivery, and as I donāt have time to do this, youāve just lost me as a listener. Just sign me sad and unhappy and frustrated.
-
missycrozier10/10The best true crime podcast around. The hosts bring the perfect amount of levity.
-
Chuck RizzyChanging volumesI find it hard to get a steady volume to hear these gals. They seem to try and build tension for a story, but then finish sentences so quietly I cannot hear what theyāre saying. Overall I usually like their stories, but it drives me crazy to constantly turn the volume up and down.

itwasntmesir45Karen Read Framed! What a lazy podcast. They did bare minimum research on the Karen Read Case & form a ridiculous opinion on it. Karen Read did not kill John. Watch the trial ya know research. Here are some facts for you 1. The FBI hired car reconstruction specialists that conclude John was 100% not hit by a car and are investigating DA in canton 2. The house owners a Boston cop but never came outside after John was found on the lawn and police lights blaring outside & Karen screaming even with their dog who barks incessantly usually. Police never went into the house. 3. Jen McCabe 1000% google searched "hos long to die in the cold" at 2:27am before John's body was found and deleted it & was she also caught lieing dozens of time on the stand. See video 4. Snow plow driver saw no body on the lawn the two times he came by in middle of night only a Ford edge the Albert's drive. 5. Higgins & Albert both destroyed their phones the day before they were supposed to be turned in to evidence 6. They used solo cups and grocery bags to collect evidence contaminating everything. 7. John had blunt force trauma back if head and dog bites on his arms but no bruising below the neck impossible for a car hitting a pedestrian. 8 the dog Chloe had a history of biting people and was rehomed before they could investigate. 9. Police never collected ring footage from anyone with cameras on Fairview. 10. Lead investigator wrote disgusting texts about Karen looking for nudes in Karen's phone calling her vile names like c@nt and said she should kill herself. 11. Lead investigator is on non paid leave for his unethical behavior and is friends with the people framing Karen & group texted private details to people about case. 12. 18 supposed butt dial calls between the group framing Karen they also deleted. 13. They inverted the video in the sally port showing them messing with the tailight. 14. The judge is so biased it should be illegal doesnt let you give reasons for objections favors prosecutor 15. Blood & vomit on John's boxers but not on pants or shirt. 16. No blood on car at all. 17. The initial statements by cops says John was in a fight. 18. 360 app proves witness's lieing about locations in timeline. 19. Karen connects to WiFi at John's house at the time prosecutors claim she was at 34 Fairview hitting John. 20. Sooo much corruption etc etc etc etc.

becksmarti92Canāt stop listening to these amazing humans storytelling abilitiesWow. When my sister shared this with me, I didnāt realize id want you to be in my ears at any chance I got. Thank you for hundreds of amazing episodes!! Your scripts are amazing.
-
GR8SCOTT427Not GoodOut of the Otto Warmbier episode, I learned that these two British women donāt like Americans flying American flags, white supremacy goes hand in hand with flag flying, they donāt like how Donald Trump handled the case, etc. This isnāt why I tuned into this podcast. I just wanted to learn more about this heartbreaking story without all of the preachy lecturing. Is this how Wondery feels about the USA and its people?
-
Jill in DallasNewbieI just discovered these ladies and Iām obsessed! Witty with F bombs, my love language.
-
Jane 1890AwesomeLove it !!!!

ercollierDisappointed in misinformationThe episodes are entertaining enough, but research and journalistic integrity are lacking.
-
Oh hi it's jellyEpisode volumeLong-time listener, first-time reviewerālove the podcast! That said, Iāve noticed the audio levels are a bit uneven. The episode volume, especially Suruthiās voice, is often so low that I have trouble hearing clearly, while the commercials come on much louder in comparison. Itād be great if this could be balanced out for a smoother listening experience. Keep up the great work!

20201967Holy GrailI have been listening to the podcast and enjoying it. However, the Holy Grail episode had 2 obvious mistakes. 1. Transmutation is not a catholic belief. Podcast mentions it is a Christian belief but not a Catholic one. It is one of the most important premises of Catholicism so not sure how was this not known if research was adequately done. 2. Joseph of Arimatea is not the husband of the Virgin Mary who raised Jesus. He donated the tomb where Jesus was put to rest and is believed to have been related to Mary but not St Joseph. Minor things that bother me as to the level of effort put into putting together an episode.
-
fatgretaPersonal opinionMy rating and review, like all the ratings and reviews, are just my personal opinion. Personally, I really dislike podcasts where the hosts just start ripping and joking, and talking to each other as friends and inside jokes throughout the podcast story. Iām listening to them to hear the story, not to hear them crack jokes with each other about their past lives or friendships or whatever. And thereās a ton of that in this podcast, so I donāt like this podcast thatās the reason. Not saying the content isnāt good, just that I donāt like the presentation.
-
DrThetaSigmaVolumeReally enjoy the show. Can the producers please adjust the volume levels before publishing? Commercials are so loud compared to the show itself. Even during the show levels arenāt consistent.
-
Caitlin CC.Insecure? It feels like the hosts, or host (Hannah) spends a lot of time slagging off other countries and cultures. So far Iāve heard her express negativity for, Sweden, Wales, USA and the Neatherlands and Iāve only listened to 3 episodes š We get it youāre super proud to be English. But Iām sure sheād say Iām just getting my āpanties in a bunchā.
-
Gryphyš¶Jim Jones Part 1 a snooze festPart 1 of Jim Jones could have been reduced to ten minutes and out into the other episode. Also, you guys definitely should have watched the Jon Benet Netflix documentary before you produced your JB show because in light of that doc, the ep sounds really misinformed and overlooks a lot of new info that was clarified through the doc.

Ash 505Who Let Yāall Talk Like This?To those leaving snarky or rude comments: letās take a moment to appreciate what this podcast truly is. RedHanded is Hannah and Suruthiās showāa platform for them to share their thoughts, opinions, and storytelling style. We tune in because we value their work, not to demand they censor themselves, cater to every individual experience, or produce episodes that address every possible angle in painstaking detail. The way they research, record, and edit is a reflection of their creative processāitās their art. Constructive criticism is fine, but thereās a clear line between offering thoughtful feedback and being unnecessarily harsh. Ask yourself: has tearing someone down ever been productive? Hannah and Suruthi are exceptionally talentedāintelligent, witty, articulate, and their chemistry is what makes the show so compelling. Letās show them the respect they deserve for the immense effort they pour into creating something remarkable for their audience. From one listener to another, with love, Ash in New Mexico

CopperCurls2015My New Favorite Podcast!!I have been a HUGE fan of True Crime media of all sorts for most of my life. Books, TV shows, documentaries⦠You name it. Iām only on episode 17 (so all of he way back up n 2017)⦠and I am HOOKED!!! This is so much fun to listen to! You guys do incredible research and provide so many details about every case you talk about while also providing so much fun and personal commentary. I feel like I understand so much about the personalities of the two incredible host of the show despite never having personally met them: thatās how personable and charming they are as hosts. Keep the morbid fun coming, ladies; from now on, I will ALWAYS be here to listen!
-
Lee Lee37295No longer listeningI used to love this podcast but after their blatant misinformation and irresponsible coverage of the Richard Allen conviction and JonBenet Ramsey case, theyāve lost all credibility for me. Iām unsubscribing
-
Simmy420BJon benet RamseyAs women from England, you would think you both understood how awful tabloids are- as you criticize the British tabloids openly throughout your show. But your jon benet Ramsey episode proved to me how insensitive you are. Sheās a little girl, you did no real research and you further circulated the American tabloids continuous false narratives that harmed the path to justice for a 6 year old girl. I hadnāt gotten back to 2019 in your catalogue, and I wonāt. Itās your responsibility on your platform to put out the truth when you choose topics like ā TRUE crimeā as the basis of said platform.
-
elh713Jonbenet CaseThis is my first episode & I am BEWILDERED as to how this is a wondery podcast. The information they cover isnāt even accurate, theyāre cynical & assume quite a bit based on their own pre-determined bias. I donāt know who did it, and so Iām not reviewing them based on disagreement, but instead irresponsible coverage of a case thatās packed with information readily available to anyone who takes a second to search. I was excited to have potentially found a new podcast, but with true crime being an over saturated I donāt see why anyone would waste their time listening to people just spew their own personal views and incorrect info.
-
MtHoodTruthStanding 10 toes down on misinformation!Yāall should be ashamed of yourselves for your disgraceful coverage of the Karen read case that was riddled with blatant lies, misinformation, and spinning facts to fit your biased narrative against her! I was a long time listener until this show now I will never listen again. After realizing how wrong you were in this case, I went back and listened to some other episodes of cases I knew well, and when I did, I realized yāall have been getting a lot of key details wrong or spinning info to fit your agenda. Shame on you, do better!! 𤬠Wow these imbeciles did the same thing with the Delphi case even after they received feedback from their fans that they needed to do a better job of researching and presenting cases in an unbiased manner. Constructive criticism is an opportunity to learn and grow. Yikes!
-
wemakepeaceFoulI couldnāt get through the first ten minutes. Their foul mouths were gross and over the top.
-
Thomasc29šTotally love this show!!Great rapport with the hosts, great storytellers! And I love the logic - has made me rethink some of my firm convictions on past true crime stories! Thank you!
-
WeeYarnicarnLove you both! You are the tops, and your posh accents send me straight to heaven. However, I had to study the comfort women of WWII in college and it made me so enraged and sad that I will have to skip that episode, sorry. Canāt do it. The rest of the episodes I am gobbling up nom nom nom (yes itās weird, but not really, that i can listen to your murder-y ones, but not the comfort women- which was a mass atrocity against the innocent). You are consummate storytellers. Update: Why are you being so negative about familial DNA databases? Itās solving crimes, giving families closure, and giving John and Jane Does their identities back! What a weird position to go off on after an episode where that technology helped solve a mystery and a series of crimes. Newsflash: Your phone creates way more privacy and identity intrusion than DNA ever could. Iām pretty annoyed. Knocked your rating from 5 stars. Back to 5 stars. I heart you both. Update: had to knock it down to 4 because of the significant inaccuracies in the Alcala episode. I actually had to stop listening to the episode, which Iāve never had to do with Red-Handed before. Examples- Steve Hodel is the son, not grandson, of the notorious Dr Hodel, and Steve was not the eagle-eyed person who saw the abduction of little Tali Shapiro, but a civilian Good Samaritan.

12blendersSo confused!I never questioned the information in this podcast (or read the reviews), until listening to the Delphi murder trial verdict episode. Much of the information presented was factually incorrect, which would be shown by reading the trial documents, including those from the three day hearing where the defense presented evidence for the Odinism theory, which was found to be unsubstantiated and therefore not admissible during trial. Obviously opinions may vary, but many of their opinions are not based on the actual evidence presented by both sides, or the events and testimony from hearings and the trial. (I do however agree that the true crime fan psychologist should not be practicing in the criminal justice system, let alone treating a suspect in a notorious case!) So now Iām wondering what other episodes are factually incorrect?! I generally agree with their interpretations and opinions, but how many of them are based on wrong information? I see some other reviews subsequent to their Karen Read trial coverage, which I did not listen to or read about from any source, so perhaps that was another misinformed take? I previously believed this was the best true crime podcast, where information was imparted in a mostly unbiased way regardless of the expressed opinions, but Iām sad to now question what Iāve been hearing! Using true crime stories as entertainment is something Iām personally conflicted about. Why am I so interested? Am I just a prurient gossip? I soothe my qualms by at least seeking out the facts and evidence, listening to or reading either primary sources or those whose information is from primary sources. I thought Red Handed was such a podcast, but I donāt know anymore, although canāt quite bring myself to give one star. Used to be all the stars :(
-
Scp114Not factually accurateSuch disappointing āreportingā compared to what Red Handed was early on. Now itās all about how dramatic poor Hannah can make her whispering. This irresponsible coverage for money and clicks is so shameful and disrespectful to the actual victims and their families. Shame on you both. And stop whining about podcast awards. Red Handed is just another Wikipedia of true crime, with no original reporting. You have a very, very easy job.
-
allisonmurrayMisinformedIāve been a Redhanded listener for years. However, the recent episode discussing the Delphi verdict was absolutely the most misinformed piece of trash Iāve ever heard. Do your research. There was more than enough evidence to convict Richard Allen. There is no other reasonable conclusion based on the evidence. Unfollowing and questioning everything Iāve ever heard you say.
-
niseydrh8Long time listenerā¦Iāve been a long time listener. Years. Over the years Iāve found a lot of the information to be factually incorrect on different cases and stories. Yāallās coverage on the Delphi case was terrible. Iām so disappointed. Please make sure your information is coming from reputable sources. Do your own research and donāt state others opinions as facts. I live 2 hours from Delphi. Iāve followed the case closely⦠your podcast coverage on the case was ridiculously false.
