Cherie1234509876The GOAT of Social Media & Entrepreneurship TipsLatasha is incredibly knowledgeable on all things social media, course creation and entrepreneurship. I listen to her episodes literally everyday as I go through my day as a social media manager in the process of transitioning into a full time freelancer. Her tips are the missing pieces to so many questions that I’ve needed clarity on. She keeps it real w/real life experiences & seems like the friend anyone would love to have around.

Rosa “rosis_phatlife”So refreshing!I found Latasha last year on YouTube, and I’ve been hooked to her podcasts and classes ever since. Everything she shares is so valuable, and very honest. wickseHelping me overcome self-doubtI want to thank Latasha for her podcast! I stumbled upon it about a year ago and started regularly listening over the last few months. Being a freelancer and going off on your own is exciting, but it’s tough. It requires me to consistently fight my tendency for negative self-talk and defeatism when things are not perfect. Far too many people struggle with believing and advocating for themselves, even if they don’t recognize it at first. As someone who battles with many self-doubts, I can’t tell you, Latasha, how validating your podcast is. You often ensure I am on the right track, give me ideas to solve problems, provide resources to help me where I struggle, and help me understand that the hiccups and perceived setbacks are normal, to be expected, and can be overcome. Today’s podcast on perfectionism hit home today, and I’ve shared it with multiple people in my circle! Thank you!

shanconartEvery Entrepreneur Needs to ListenI’ve been listening to the Freelance Friday Podcast for the last three years. As an entrepreneur in their 20s, Latasha’s podcast has been more valuable to me than I can put into words. I’ve listened to every single episode and it’s been a guide for me as I transitioned from a traditional 9-5 corporate position to a full time freelance graphic designer. I’ve found more resources and guidance for social media marketing and running your own business through her podcast episodes than I had in my four year uni degree. Her tips for success eased my anxiety and gave me the confidence I needed to go off on my own instead of working for somebody else.
-
hejwjqowbSuch an awesome Podcast! As a young marketer I appreciate the transparency Latasha gives with her podcasts, I aspire to create my own marketing company one day and she really walks you through how to do it from taxes to brand.

pyjazInspiring!Latasha’s podcast has been incredibly inspiring for me as an entrepreneur, particularly as someone who started with no real capital to build from. I have been listen to her for over a year and am still constantly inspired by her podcast each Friday.

BcurveyySubscribe AsapSo I've been listening to Latasha’s podcast for a little over two years now and I have learned SOOOO many valuable lessons. Once I became a fangirl (following her on IG and subscribing to her Youtube channel) I finally decided to buy a couple of her courses. Best decision ever. The social media management toolbox helped me increase my bandwidth to onboard 2 new cliens by the end of 2020. I've also joined the Freelance Friday Club and have already made tons of great connections so far! I've even gotten a client from the group! The amount of support and encouragement in the club is just incredible. Five stars doesn't even begin to explain the content and value Latasha brings us every week.

She gives great tips that are easy to understand and apply to your own business. I listen to her episodes multiple times because they are so full of useful information. catmattoEverything I’ve Been Looking ForWith all of the other podcasts, YouTube channels, and social media accounts out there, it’s kind of difficult to find the real gems. This is now my #1 podcast because I really appreciate Latasha’s approach to business, communication style, honesty, compassion, and of course valuable advice and tips for entrepreneurs. She’s super down-to-earth and is motivational in a way that isn’t pushy or judgmental. She isn’t just selling the “hustling girl boss” mentality, which is so pervasive online now. I really appreciated the bonus episode this week about recent events in our country and the fact that Latasha doesn’t shy away from discussing ethics and values as a business owner and person.
-
MostObnoxiousLoving this podcast!I’m a teacher who just quit to help grow my husband’s (now OUR) paver installation business. I’ve been cruising through these podcasts and the YT channel (when I have time to watch) and getting ready to start a website , FB, and IG account. I am so caught up in comparisons and perfectionism that I feel paralyzed to launch. These podcasts are giving me the confidence to JUST GO!
-
Mae.SueThe “sign” I needed to start a social media management businessI have spent the past 6 years managing multiple social media platforms including my own. Throughout this time I’ve been desperately trying to find my niche/passion. Just 3 or 4 podcasts from Latasha James and everything has become so clear. Latasha is transparent and has a way of instilling confidence in the listener. She is clearly educated on what she talks about, she clearly wants to help as much as possible, and I honestly just love her voice. I’m excited to further my knowledge through this podcast and our first coaching consultation
-
CC_BabiNo Fluff!I love that this podcast is so educational, and is not "fluff." I've learned a ton from this channel and Latasha’s YouTube about how to do marketing the right way. - Valerie Zaric
-
---NaniGreat Info!I just started a social media management role and I feel soooo much more at ease after listening to Latasha’s podcasts and YouTube videos! She gives information in a way that makes you feel like you’re ready to tackle the social media world and I’m so grateful!
-
Mmlj12Very encouraging and inspirational podcast!I found Latasha’s podcast on Spotify and I listen to it at work a lot! Latasha offers down-to-earth, authentic advice for running your own business and freelancing in the marketing communications space. She offers encouraging insight for anyone who is thinking about or in the process of launching their own freelance business. The Freelance Friday Podcast is an absolute must-listen podcast for creative professionals.
-
hyperverbalismValuable AND accessible tipsI came to this podcast from Latasha James’ YouTube channel and have quickly become a regular listener. This podcast is a great resource for baby freelancers like me who are working to get organized and profitable. Not only does Latasha have lots of knowledge to share, but she is able to break down complex topics like Instagram marketing into manageable pieces without dumbing them down. A pet peeve of mine is when informational podcasts go over the line from chatty to confessional and become focused on the host(s) rather than their relationship to their listener audience. Latasha has clearly thought about this dynamic; the experiences and opinions she shares are uniformly relevant and thoughtful.
-
N-K ObiakoThe Freelance Friday Podcast is A MustLatasha James provides such valuable content for entrepreneurs and creatives! This podcast is truly educational and inspiring. I make sure to catch up on her episodes weekly and thankful for her resources!👏🏾
-
dunnecrewSo valuable! She gives you so much good information in her podcast! I feel like I learn something from every episode and it’s so relaxed, it’s like your just right next to her sipping coffee and talking business! If you need to educate yourself on marketing or even balancing a freelance life, this podcast is for you!
-
N8BeatsI take notes while listening to this…Whenever I listen to Latasha’s podcast, I always take notes. In the last episode I listened to, she discusses how she lost her biggest client, and how she made up that income in 2 days. Sounds too good to be true, until you listen to the episode and realize that we as entrepreneurs have to dig our well before we’re thirsty by adding value with no expectation, so people are there to support us when we need it most. This podcast is gold, her YouTube channel is gold, I’m such a fan. ~Nathen Aaren IG: @NathenTV YT: YouTube.com/Nathen

Taylor @taykrahnEasy to Listen & Learn From!Latasha shares quality information, and she clearly knows her stuff! Her down-to-earth delivery makes me feel more eager to learn rather than overwhelmed. I agree with other reviewers that say she makes me feel like I’m on a professional coffee date - I look forward to the new topics each week!
-

elena.nakMy fav!!!I found Latasha on Youtube originally, and then I found out about this podcast, and that was my best day ever, haha! I used to be bored from podcasts and never found anything I can actually relate to or find useful and implementable, but she's been very helpful and inspiring through this platform! And inspired me to open my own marketing agency that I run through @thatgirlfromLA 🥳
