jaaa2021Changing my reviewLately I have opted not to listen because of the constant politics and mocking of religion. Used to love this show, but not wanting to spend my free time getting a lecture on how I choose to vote.
-
Vmora29Dancing with the SistarsAlways love Kelly episodes and particularly loved this one about TTPD after living with the album for a few months! Thank you ♥️

Les’s Mistress 😉The Gateway PodcastI really enjoy this show and I enjoy the shows that Kate has recommended too like “Sounds like a Cult.” Kate’s show and her book “One in a Millennial” were my gateway to podcasts. Thank you Kate! Keep up the good work.

hm122221the willful ignorance is painfulHer lack of knowledge in the political realm is cringeworthy, hypocritical, and embarrassing.

SarahMcRollerAnd I thought I had a good memory for obscure detailsI often remember details or inside jokes from decades ago that no one else does. But Kate's ability to wear in brand names, B-List cekebs and commercials from the 90s put my memory to shame. While the nostalgia references are delightful, it's Kate thoughtful unpacking of girlhood and womanhood that I most enjoy.

yourhumblelistenerSeason 2!!Been here a while but I’m loving season 2 so far! Would love to hear more unsolved influencer mysteries. Such a cozy spooky vibe.
-
Pally321Kate’s a delight but could use a co-host or editingI love Kate as a fellow millenial and loved her book. The podcast can sometimes be a multi minute run on sentence - I think Kate would really benefit from someone to bounce off of! I think a cohost could also be a good second opinion on editing - I really enjoy her takes and topics but it can occasionally really drag as a stream of conscious solo act for over an hour - a little editing would make it a 5 star listen!

Madsmessy18Love love lovelong time listener who loves the longer form of this podcast and the way Kate’s brain works to dissect pop culture topics and frame them in a larger cultural discussion. It’s like school but for the stuff I actually care about (Morman influencers) 👀 highly recommend!
-
77sjostrYour never met BFFKate. Your bff you never get to meet. I love her brain!! Thanks for sharing all your thoughts on all things pop culture. You are the best.

karina my weenahBest company keeping podcastI love this podcast, and it’s kept me company through so many drives and long days, feels like a friend joining me for little errands and makes everything so much more enjoyable. For some reason I always get emotional when she says “let me know your thoughts and i’ll let you know mine, I’ll be there in 5, I swear” outro lol. I feel smarter and more thoughtful, a better feminist because of this podcast.

Bluesclues644Refreshing and relatableI just listened to the Millennial with Child episode and really appreciated the balanced, realistic, and hopeful meanderings on the challenges and joys of motherhood. With all the hot takes out there on the right way to do things as a mother, Kate’s honest, heartfelt and non-judgmental reflections were refreshing!

10k emergency doneAOTI’m a Kappa Delta Alum too!!! Omg loved the sorority episodes!!

13TRexBexFave PodcasterCame for the Swift talk of it all and stayed for Kate’s relatability through puns/wordplay, intelligence and the Millennial of it all. Following from podcaster to author of her amazing best-seller “One In A Millennial”, Kate Kennedy is so much fun no matter where you jump in. Kate’s podcast is like the book you can pick up and put down if needed or you can binge it. There’s a topic for everyone and not just millennials, at that. I’m with Kate for the hope of it all, cancel my plans just in case she calls and says…meet me for a BeThereIn5 Event! The community Kate has created is such a treat in itself. Thrilled to call myself a BETH(iykyk). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

BDC83013Kate is just… the best!!I have been listening to Kate for the past 5 years. Even though I am a few years older than her, I relate to and enjoy her thoughtful, in depth episodes (no cohost needed!) and the guests she brings on are always interesting and fun. Nothing beats a two hour ep (not too long!) with Kate by herself though!!
-
jbhoffThe podcast I didn’t know I neededPop culture, fashion trends, Taylor Swift, and so much more. Kate brings me back to my childhood with all the nostalgia but also keeps it so real at the same time. Her long forum style has made painting shiplap (yes, you read that right) enjoyable and when I don’t have long stretches of time to listen, it’s easy to pause and pick it back up when I can. Her podcast feels like time with one of your closest girlfriends and I look forward to each week’s show!
-
Babygoose806cjmlLove this pod!I was first introduced to Kate Kennedy via her book (love it!) and now listen every week. Her voice is soothing and I love her use of language.
-
mndoolittleThe best podcast for pop-culture loving women!I was introduced to this podcast years ago from Kate being a guest on GGE, and as a swiftie, zillennial, and pop culture lover (especially 90s/00s), this was exactly what I needed! Kate keeps me company on long drives, runs and errands, and she is my favorite person to listen to if I need a calming voice at the airport or at night. Also, love her deep dives as a swiftie and from growing up loving American Girl/Mary Kate & Ashley! Her vulnerability, humor and honest takes are why I look forward to listening each week!
-
SummertimeChi606Essential millennial listening“Oh yeah, I forgot about that!” If you’re a millennial American Girl woman, you’ll find yourself saying this aloud when listening. This is my most-saved podcast (especially the Katelilah episodes), and that’s the highest praise I can give! Thank you, Kate.

MegCastroA must-listen!My absolute favorite podcast! Kate is a gem of a host and I feel like she truly gets us millennials in our plight to simply exist. I listen to every episode the day it comes out and it’s been such a treat to have while I train for an upcoming marathon. I’ve been a listener since 2019 and can’t wait to see what season two brings! Kate, thank you for this gift of a show!!!
-

Podcastgeekatl321My favorite podcastEvery episode feels like a chat with my best friend. Thoughtful, creative, funny, and often a great escape. It’s introduced me to so many of my favorite podcasters/influencers. Truly my favorite and my happy place. I recommend it to everyone I know, and if you get to go to her live shows go! An incredible experience and a wonderful celebration of girlhood.

Jes iMacElder MillennialHave been listening to Kate since early 2020. Started as a pandemic comfort listen and I am hooked. Kate’s content and delivery is soothing and funny. Great for mundane work tasks or winding down at the end of the day. I am a young Gen X or and elder millennial depending on the chart and I still find her content so relatable. Especially the exploration of girl hood. I came for the T. Swift commentary but enjoy the rest of her eps just as much. I anxiously await a new one dropping every week. Keep it up Kate!! I Love being a Beth!!
-
kdawwg22Guests are amazing but…I’ve been missing just Kate deep diving or just Kate episodes. 😬 The last good couples of episodes have all had guests and while they were good I find myself looking forward to the classic format. Even if on patreon since I listen there too! 🙏 This doesn’t apply to Kelly, we love Kelly!
-
ALS223Boston listenerEspecially love the bridesmaids eps and Bath & Body jerks. Highly relatable.

july39941First time listenerThis podcast came up on the main page and I decided to check it out. For a number of reasons 1) I watch almost every episode of Dallas Cowboy cheerleader making the team. 2) I was a little too excited to watch the new Netflix series. 3) I am a big fan of Victoria. I am so excited to see where here new journey goes. When I find a new podcast I give it “the good old college try” if the podcast that I don’t care for I either two one of thing. I find something else to listen too or I just go cold turkey for a while with podcast. I alway routed for Victoria. It is my belief that’ this new journey Victoria is driving down is a very positive adventure.

LadyDianaFrancoMy safest spaceThis podcast was the most amazing discovery for me a few years ago. Kate Kennedy is an astute observer and participant in pop culture both past and present, and her witticisms keep the episodes consistently funny and poignant. I never miss an episode. What I love more is the community Kate has built around the podcast, a community of thoughtful listeners whom she often engages with in other spaces online in addition to the pod feed. In Kate, I feel I have a parasocial friend who is always down to talk about the things that uniquely interest me and my peers, while providing insight I never knew I needed. It is my safest space online, and I’m thrilled to be a BETH.

caroline.k.Love Kate!I came for the Rachel Hollis episodes but stayed for the relevant political deep dives, the childless millennial content, the relatable Gilmore Girls and American Girl content. So many of my interests overlap and I love listening to her every week. Thanks Kate!

Faren FrenchPop Culture Deep Dives!Love this podcast and the pop culture/social deep dives. Kate makes topics interesting, personal, and relevant in a way that many others can’t. I feel seen as a liberal millennial woman!

Lizzie412In 13 years— my favorite podcast!I have been listening to podcasts for 13 years, and Be There in Five is my favorite of all time. Kate Kennedy is an observant and truly hilarious voice. It doesn’t hurt that I’m pretty sure that we have lived the exact same life, and the way that she captures the nostalgia I have for and the experiences I had growing up and coming into adulthood is beyond perfection. Her podcasts makes me cry with laughter, but she also tackles tough topics that make you think. Her “Childless Millennial” episode is one of the most important and impactful podcasts I have heard. Having recently moved away from friends and a city that I love during a global pandemic, discovering Kate and Be There in Five has provided me with incredible company and made me feel less alone. Listen to it now!

Friend on DemandWhen You Want a Friend, Kate is ThereYou know when you want nothing more than to chat with a friend while going on a walk, completing household chores, a long drive, etc? You know that feeling when NO ONE will answer your call and talk to you (what, like they have a life?)? Well, you don’t have to feel friend abandoned anymore thanks to Kate Kennedy. She is like a friend on demand, always there for you to be a listening ear to her highly entertaining, often relatable, content. In a world of comfort TV shows, she is my comfort listen. 12/10 recommend.
