    Best Police Interviews Out There!
    Amazing podcast with amazing guests!!

    “Best in Show”
Where have I been the past 4 1/2 yrs ? Out to lunch I guess. Just discovered this very entertaining podcast. Mr. Gould is smart, a good listener, and has superb interviewing skills. His guests all have great police stories to tell. His relaxed mannerism puts the guests at ease when they discuss their policing adventures.

    Great show!
Huge fan of this podcast. The host is easy to listen to and has great guests. If you support law enforcement, you’ll love this podcast.

Never thought about writing a review…
Until you started using the “new lingo.” Well I’m around your younger audience… please don’t. Update 12/29/24… Just 2 days later? I really like your podcast, steve. I don’t know why I started, it’s probably because I thought of doing police stuff, or wanted to know what makes the clock tick in the cop’s brain. (Does that make sense? I have no clue.) Keep up the good work, I listen to your podcast everyday to pass time.

    Great podcast
I have been listening to this show every day for a a while and have found it to be one of the best podcasts I listen to. Keep it up Steve!

    Fantastic Podcast!
I found this podcast a few months ago after seeing Steve on an Investigation Discovery show and have been hooked ever since! The podcast is very well done and I absolutely love hearing from police officers from around the world talk about the crazy and heartwarming things that they see on a daily basis. You do not have to be in law enforcement to love this podcast (I’m not). Steve covers so many interesting aspects of law enforcement, such as DEA agents, lawyers, arson investigators, detectives, etc.

    Excellent show
I have binged this show over the last couple months and it is a great listen. Steve is a great host and love the way he gets awesome stories out of the guest and can also also relate and add to what ever they are talking about. Would like if he keeps the religion and politics out of the show, doesn’t help the show at all an only invites trolls. Thank you Steve
  • GBMBC
    Thank You
I tried to listen to another podcast by hosted by a police officer today- had to shut it off after about 25 minutes. This role model for children and servant of the people was dropping F bombs as casually as a real gentleman says Thank You and Please. Police officers that can’t hold themselves to a higher standard and be exemplary in and out of the uniform are just plain disgraceful and disrespectful to the public they serve. Now, while Ol’ Ginger Face may not always tow the line in this respect, I believe he at least makes a great effort and I appreciate that. Great content, Great show, keep up the good work and Thank You for your Service.

    I’ve enjoyed this podcast but…
I’ve enjoyed this podcast for the most part despite Steve bringing up religion here and there and his conservative life. I’m not a conservative nor am I a religious person and I can accept those that are as long as they are not trying to push their beliefs on me. I’ve continued to listen to the podcast even after some things Steve has said that I don’t agree with. I’ve continued to listen even though Steve interrupts some of his guest with his personal stories that he constantly repeats. I’ve pushed aside my feeling that Steve is of a very different political view from me. However, after listening to the beginning of the episode on June 26, 2023 with guest Seth Milligan, I will no longer continue to support TPS. This episode, to me, shows that both Steve and his guest, Seth Milligan are homophobic. Now, don’t get me wrong, everyone is welcome to their beliefs but when you have a podcast about police and one that you are constantly asking for reviews and support I would think you would tend to keep certain things from coming out of your mouth. After listening to their comments I would not trust Steve/Seth to protect me if I was part of the LGBTQ community. When you have certain feelings towards any race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.. you will be biased towards that group of people. It’s human nature! This leads me to believe that Steve is not going to go above and beyond to help those that he is biased against. They grouped the whole LGBTQ community of Seattle to be biased against police because “they” did not want police in uniforms while patrolling their PRIDE parade. How judgmental of them. They are implying that every gay person in Seattle hates the police. Not every person that participated in or attended the parade were in the decision making position regarding the police presence at the parade. When will the Steve’s and Seth’s of the world just realize that there is so much ugliness in this world why place hate on those that don’t fit into your “Christian” views. As long as a person is a good person, works hard, pays taxes, doesn’t commit crimes, etc .. why place your hate towards them? Instead why not place your hate on those people that truly deserve it, such as murderers, rapists, pedophiles, spouse abusers, tax evaders, fraudsters, sex / human traffickers, kidnappers, animal abusers, etc…. These are the type of people that deserve your hate!!! After this episode I wanted to give this review a one star but I gave it a three because I have enjoyedlļa listening to the guests stories. these stories are important for the public to hear so civilians can really comprehend the Things Police See on a daily basis!!!

As an LEO myself, this is great. Steve’s a solid host and the guest are phenomenal. And of course I’ll always support a fellow Christian brother who proudly professes his faith. Keep up the great work !

    Steve hates 1 star reviews
Booo hoo cry to apple some more about your well deserved ONE STAR review. You should be happy that I can’t give you 1/2 a star. I’m not a cop hater, I am a hypocrite disliker. As for the show, usually entertaining, not because of Ol’ Ginger Face, but because of the guests. You would think that after 200 episodes that the host could have a less rigid way of asking the same questions every guest gets. But no, Steve sounds like every corporate HR person going through the motions asking interview questions. Some the best episodes are when the get off script and the real authentic stories happen.
  • TruthSayerr
    Homophobic “Christian” host
Homophobic so called Christian host who has in fact made homophobic slights and laughs about shooting transgender people in the face. Speaking of face, ol’ Ginger face got a face that even his parents can’t love as is evidenced by his daddy not being on his own spawns show.

    Awesome stuff man!
I’m a Christian and hearing y’all talk about police work along with faith is incredibly encouraging. Your content has been such a blessing! It has encouraged me to strive harder to be a more effective warrior for Christ, and protecter of my family and church fellowship. I’m 18 years old and someday I want to serve and protect my community as a police officer, this is by far my favorite podcast. I will keep y’all in my prayers. Thank you! BEST POLICE RELATED PODCAST OUT THERE
I’ve been listening to TPS since 2019, and have yet to miss an episode. Every week I find myself refreshing the page to be able to listen to the next episode as soon as it comes out. I’m currently still in the beginning stages of getting into law enforcement, and this podcast has helped me immensely. The stories the officers tell, gets me more and more motivated every day to continue my dream of becoming an officer. You’re doing a great job Steve! Keep up the amazing work and hopefully one day, after I’ve been on the force for a few years, I can be a guest myself and inspire others as I was inspired.

    Authentic and Genuine
Host Steve Gould has a natural and engaging way of interviewing a diverse range of guests from the law enforcement community. Their stories are not only riveting but also deeply human, shedding light on the challenges and triumphs officers face every day. What I love most about 'Things Police See' is its commitment to authenticity. It's a platform where officers can share their unfiltered stories, giving listeners a better understanding of the complexities of their profession. The empathy and respect with which these stories are told make this podcast a must-listen for anyone interested in gaining a deeper perspective on the lives of those who protect and serve our communities. Keep up the fantastic work
  • Ddubie1
Well done interviews with amazing humans
Steve does an amazing job relaying what officers go through on a daily basis. The guests he interviews reinforce that Police are good people dealing with other peoples hard situations. His faith keeps him grounded and subtly comes through his conversations. This is a great podcast in general but especially for anyone remotely interested in law enforcement as a career.

I am so thankful that I found this podcast
You are so good at interviewing, it's like you have a sixth sense for knowing the right questions to ask. At least for me, you're always asking the questions I'm already wanting an answer to. Although, sometimes you ask a question I didn't even know I wanted the answer to, but once you ask it I'm on the edge of my seat! You and the guests you choose are also some of the best story tellers I've ever heard. I don't know which has me on the edge of my seat more, the stories or the questions you ask, it's all so good! ........................ ................................................................................... Aside from the quality of your interviews, your podcast has really helped me cope with some of my own bad experiences. I was only a delivery driver, but I've ended up in some bad, sometimes crazy situations that put my life at risk and changed me as a person, and not in a good way. ..................................................................................Hearing you and your guests talk about your thought process, your experiences, hearing you laugh about them, and hearing how you've been able to reflect and recover has genuinely helped me to manage my own. It's so motivating to hear someone with similar feelings/experiences being able to talk and laugh about it. I feel like I've gained the ability to acknowledge how ridiculous everything was and not only move on with my day, but also my life, it's like a huge weight has been lifted off my chest. ................................................... ..................................................................................The more episodes I listen to, the more confident I feel and I'm so grateful! Thank you for making such a great podcast, truly one of a kind❤️

    It’s like my second religion….
I don’t miss a beat with this show, enough where I came back to Apple Podcasts after finding out Stitcher was closing broadcasts. Steve and his guests offer an amazing dynamic with a hair raising view into the life of LE Officers. As someone who has previously considered this job, this show helped me realize I wasn’t the right fit for the job. I still listen with each new episode and I always look forward to the next one. Thank you Steve and Ken for everything, you guys are amazing people who offer the most to a society of so little. God Bless and Stay Safe out there!!!

Finally a site which understands Cops issues. Great venue to learn how we all have challenges and common problems. Place to laugh at dark humor and voice our and concerns for those officers still working the streets. Tell your colleagues and friends if they want a true perspective of Police work, Things Police See”

Been listening in for about a month now, genuinely happy I found this so early on in my process as I’m only eighteen, hearing these officers and putting myself in there shoes has taught me so much already. I’m planning for a career in law enforcement and determined to succeed in my journey. Thank you Steve and everyone involved in making this podcast what it is today!

    A well deserved 1000
Dangit!!! I really wish I could have been the 1000th review. I waited patiently for awhile, but missed the mark. AnyWho, I love this podcast. It’s helped me realize that my heart is in law-enforcement. I went to the Academy in 2020, and didn’t finish. I stepped away from my heart. Now that I’m older, a little bit wiser, little bit better head on my shoulders, I’m stepping back into living in my heart. And you’ve helped me realize that my heart is in law-enforcement. Thank you for reigniting this, I am pursuing it full force now.

    Leaving a Review!
Really enjoy the podcast. Hosted by The Great Steve Gould. Came to the Podcast because of the catchy podcast graphics, I’ve stayed a listener for the donut reviews. Just kidding, there’s no reviews of donuts, or donut shops. Just great stories by the men and women out there doing work. I like the show so much i actually googled how to leave an apple podcast review. So there. I’ve done it. I’ve left a review. Now I’m going to go have a donut. Hi Steve!
