Interested bystanderMD lightThere is nothing of value unless you subscribe to the podcast. That is right from the mouth of Attia and his producer.

SSPCO720Dr Rachel Rubin Episode - AmazingI have to say, I only found this podcast because of Dr Rachel Rubin. An incredible episode and loved the very informative and thoughtful discussion. Have followed the show and look forward to digging into other interesting topics here - thanks!

Heliski82It’s about time!I’m so glad people are shedding light on women-specific issues such as perimenopause and menopause. Please keep spreading awareness to the health professional community.

haralph2Women’s sexual health, menopause episodeThis episode was fascinating and extremely informative. I appreciate the critical thinking expressed on reviewing the literature. Thank you bringing this topic of women’s health to the forefront. Dr. Rachel Rubin did an absolute amazing job speaking on this and advocating for women.

kevinh76Key to SuccessBased on Dr. Attia’s and Surgeon General Dr. Casey Means’ career trajectory, it looks like the key to success in medicine is to go to Stanford Medical School where the medical students are coddled by the attendings, get a surgical residency but drop out when it gets hard and become a concierge doctor to the 0.001% ultra wealthy. Treating sick patients is, well, too icky for the wacky elite.

Hartdoc1Discussion with Dr. DeFronzo regarding: Metabolic syndrome and Type II DMExcellent discussion in regard to mechanisms of metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, and type two diabetes. Unfortunately, Dr. DeFronzo’s self promotion and aggrandizement detracted from the enjoyment and educational experience. His comment regarding his significant other’s description of him as “the smartest person she has ever met” followed by his comment “I know” reflects either his insecurities or hubris. He’s clearly brilliant and a cutting edge scientist but I didn’t need to be reminded of it repeatedly throughout the podcast.

JADE_NIKOSSusan Desmond is associated with Bill and Melinda Gates!I’m sorry, but I really liked a lot of your other people you had on here. I liked your podcast, but when I see that you have somebody on your podcast who is talking about how amazing it was to work with the bill and Melinda Gates foundation and what they did to those poor people. With the aid outbreak they’re the ones that caused it. I would’ve thought you would’ve done your research a little better that’s all I had to see is that you worked for them and I am sorry. I know that people might say whatever they want, but do your research. Don’t take my word for it. They’re divorced now, but Bill Gates is wanted for what he did with the vaccines to all the tribes to pushes the popularization agenda. You really should that your people that you get on here and I understand you do and maybe she didn’t know but that would be something that somebody would not want to bring up if they truly were in the light of truth. God bless you and I wish you all the best and success.

Ed-2014Anti-scienceI’ve followed Dr. Attia since before NUSI, and have always had a lot of respect for him, but after listening to episode 346, I’m out. His approach to the COVID epidemic is right out of the MAGA/Kennedy anti-science playbook. It’s disgusting. He casts doubt on and minimizes the effectiveness of the COVID vaccines; he casts doubt on the effectiveness of masks; he bags on Dr. Fauci for the lamest of reasons; he is critical of Paxlovid. Stay in your lane, man, your ignorance about infectious disease and virology makes me doubt everything else you say. I unfollowing the show. I expected better.
-
JoFo73Informative and UnderstandableI have been listening for a couple of months now. Last Friday night I was discussing Dr. Attia with a friend at dinner. My friend said he listened to his audiobook. He had notes typed up from the audiobook. I told him about the podcast. We both enjoy the format of information and how it is delivered. Everyone I come in contact with I mention this podcast if they are truly concerned about the longevity of their life.

Binka51LoveI just absolutely loved your most recent podcast with your daughter… I only wish that at the end of the podcast you would have praised her for the great work she did… and also told her how proud you were of her for volunteering at the senior home…and most, especially that you ended by telling her how much you loved her❣️ love Maureen

Rsr179124False advertising and “not taking money from advertising”He says he isn’t taking and pushing false products and is not being compensated is a down right lie! Anyone can place Peter Vs. Aura ring and read for themselves how Peter “promotes” products.
-
CMUstud23Sell Out - Do Not Trust HimPeter has sold out. Do not trust him. You have been warned.
-
Moma-rocsRespect!I have over 35 years of experience working with critically ill patients as a nutrition support dietitian. Appreciate his research based opinions on nutrition, health, exercise and aging.
-
Rking777James MilitePeter I have been a long time listener and supporter/member in the past. I have huge respect for your intent, your content and how you have supplemented my knowledge. I am an MD, 60 years old, and have dedicated myself faithfully to eating well, exercising ( in all disciplines) religiously and constantly questioning and researching to “be better”. I can name at least 20-25 guests you have interviewed that have been important to me in some way, from either an informational or philosophical perspective. This guest was the most dehumanizing and alienating person I can imagine. His “vision” of the future of humanity makes me question why I should care about my own longevity. He is obviously a person who has no children and does not realize that the focus of life is to spend more time doing what you love with the people you love. That defines us human. As a dad, I know you know that. This person does not. Sorry for the rant. I have never written a review ever about any “content “. I hugely respect you and look forward to learning from and be inspired by your podcast in the future. I respect and support not editing or limiting his voice. People need to hear this and realize the sad possible course of our future . But I will seek to avoid the input of superficial heartless idiots like this guest forever. Cheers

ibrtthiyffvhhLife-changing!When I discovered this podcast I immediately soaked in ALL of the episodes recorded to date. Great guests and good in-depth coverage of topics. Thank you, Peter!

PodcastReview100Mike IsraetelThis podcast starts off slowly, but let me tell you, it quickly becomes one of the most captivating podcasts I've had in a long time! As someone who travels over 500,000 miles a year, I’ve tuned into countless podcasts, but after just 25% of this one, I was absolutely hooked! I could’ve easily dove into another two hours of this incredible conversation—it’s that good!

CantfindanicknamenotWhat did you just say?I have read your book multiple times. I love and admire your expertise. You do realize that the average college educated person has no idea what you’re saying. I have a graduate degree and I get very little from your podcasts. You have the best and the brightest who speak their scientific language. Would you consider a separate podcast focusing on how to keep yourself healthy? Speaking to the average person?
-
Sarryjean88Love love love!Have always loved this podcast but the Round Table episode was AMAZING. Hearing multiple experts converse about aging/health span was so insightful and entertaining. Would love to see more of these in the future.
-
flowersandsteakMy go to podcastThanks for providing such technical content and helping us to remain students of our body! Love it!

PeterBurke49Sign in problemsI value the majority of Peter’s podcasts and am a member, but as noted before, signing in is problematic. Seems to be automatic now on my phone, but just not available on my iPad anywhere.
-
Heidi HuddDifficult to sign inSo frustrating! Even though I am a subscriber, I find it difficult/impossible to be recognized at such on Apple Podcasts . Then I don’t have access to the shows, and have to sit through the annoying subscription pitch. Plus , I cannot figure out how to search for episodes on my phone. I can certainly find them on my laptop. So for accessibility, ATTIA rates a ZERO. I gave 3 stars because I do enjoy his shows and find him knowledgeable and informative, explaining things mostly in understandable ways. I give him a 5 there. So actually , he rates a 2 1/2!!!!
-
jycniucnkifvFallen OffThe podcast used to be 5 stars where people could get a masterclass in clinical physiology on various topics such as learning lipids from guests like Tom Dayspring. Now it feels like most podcasts are behind a paywall and listeners are left with 1-2 mediocre releases a month. Overall, if you’re interested in Dr Attia for Longevity, buy his book and skip the podcast.
-
latrinculiPart incisive, but very much an industry perspectiveI'm not trivializing his arguments, but I wish I had been playing drinking game, with one shot of Topo Chico for every time he said "innovation." This is directionally correct, but very much an industry perspective, and unfortunately couched in a lot of management consultancy speak at times. Bring in someone smart who does advocacy work for the consumer side and you would get a very different set of answers, equally incisive and holistically more apposite, in my opinion.
-
fjamegMáster class on understanding our complex healthcare systemThank you for episode 327! I was in full student mode and am grateful for what you do, Dr. Attia. Saum explains everything so well. Genius!
-
MarkmarkmaksymHere for the dogsJust listened to homie talking to the shaman. Hit all my chakras
-
goudaluckIs this show for men only?I have been listening to this podcast for about a year. I’ve learned a lot from Attia and his guests and in general I think this podcast is well-done. However I frequently find myself wondering if this podcast is aimed at men because women’s perspectives are so rarely (if ever) addressed. I wish he would bring on more women as guests or even consider a woman co-host.
-
asthmatcLet the guests speakPeter often has interesting guests on, but he spent so much time talking about himself that it’s disruptive distracting and causes me to shut down every podcast I open. I wish he would just let his guests speak.
-
Stephen Rocks!!!!!Episode 321Amazing episode. Informative with grace & love.
-
YotaZukiAbsolutely love PeterI first heard Peter when he was a guest on Jay Shetty’s podcast and I thought “wow this guy really knows what he’s talking about” So I decided to check out The Drive. And WOW talk about deep dive and detail. I don’t think I understood a single thing in the first episode I listened to, but I couldn’t stop. The more I listen the more I begin to understand. I really appreciate the work Peter puts into doing these episodes and his willingness to share his knowledge with us along with his connections with some truly great minds in this space whom most of us would never get a chance to hear from. Thank you Peter.
-
M Liu-SLife-changingThe episode with Belinda Beck about bone health is a godsend.
-
Marilyn GrantBone Health episodeReally appreciate everything you do Dr. Attia. This episode was especially helpful as I have osteoporosis and finding reliable help/insights is challenging.
-
90956Urolithin ALove the podcast. Can you discuss Urolithin A as it pertains to aging and muscle recovery after exercise?
-
NeopoundThe Best Health PodcastPeter Attia's combination of diligence, skepticism, and gift of communication make this podcast not only among the most cutting-edge health/medical information sources available, but the most listenable as well.
-
MC WeberYour BEST Chance at Avoiding a Nursing Home in Your Last DecadeIf you have seen your parents deteriorate and lose their independence in their 70’s and 80’s and don’t want to end up the same, then listen to Peter and apply his advice. While I do follow other health and medical podcasts and influencers, Dr. Attia always rises to the top. He cuts to the chase and does so in a way that is easy to digest and practical to apply to your life and those you love. You most likely need to make some drastic changes to your lifestyle to increase your healthspan and make it more likely that you will be able to live out your plans for your later years. Whether that is playing golf, traveling, hiking, or just playing with your grandkids, you won’t be able to to that if you are weak and visiting doctors all week with multiple medical issues. Turn the tables on most disease in old age and live a strong and vibrant life in your 70’s, 80’s and beyond. You found the perfect source, listen and take action!
-
GarageliftBest talkI have been following for a few months and enjoy the wide breadth of topics. By far the best one was with Sebastian Junger regarding his NDE and new book. Both men were honest and vulnerable, relatable and the conversation was natural. I read the book in one sitting and considering a second tour through it.

annief01Rethinking nutrition scienceThis episode was a fail. Pharmaceutical trials are more trustworthy because they have to “answer to the FDA”????? What a joke. Too much of the FDA is funded by big pharm. Disappointed.
-
KSmith1010Love the showLove the show- always helpful and informative and I’m sure the nutrition ones always generate a ton of controversy. I do find myself wanting to interject and push back on the human energetics discussion though. For all of our known existence as a species we fought starvation and it can be looked at as a huge success that our new problem is obesity. To push back on the plane analogy- yes aviation is safety but the jet fuel pollution is arguably a problem and in putting more planes in the air, making them safer and encouraging more travel we make another problem. In the same way, advertising and food companies have made huge leaps and bounds in selling us food and obesity is pretty much the pollution of their success. Human energetics experiments are constantly being conducted by these companies and the ability for them to encourage more intake has been a huge success story for them.

pelican jedifanny pack of wellness podcastsThe Drive, is my fanny pack of all-things-wellness. there’s a lot of information (noise) in the health/fitness/wellness podcast space, and it’s hard to find a podcast that isn’t pushing supplements or some scientific unfounded hack . i enjoy The Drive for its reasonable science based approach to fitness, wellness and longevity…informative essentials that i can fit into my fanny pack (a justifiable appendage sack) of wellness, w/great guests and entertaining conversations. my only request would be, that The Drive podcast begin selling swag, in the form of fanny packs, donning a patch of Peter Attia's face, which would be cool to see when i look down at my sack.

Maddie445Technical to practical way off balanceThere is no doubt that Peter is exceptionally bright and talented. However, there seems to be a strong aversion to turning the highly technical and medical concepts into practical applications for the listener. He almost seems to want to avoid offering practical advice and relishes in my minutia of medical findings. This podcast and his book could be much more successful if there was a greater balance between the technical and the practical, it is this reason why I don’t listen to the podcast as much. Coming from someone with a PhD.
-
SHOCOMAI in MedicineThe Drive is loaded with outstanding material. Dr. Atia is easy to listen to and the podcasts flow almost too well. I highly recommend the AI in Medicine episode to everyone. It may be a bit intimidating as a topic, but flows well. By the end of the episode most people will have a better understanding of how things tie together in healthcare with regard to data.
-
Jodie Lee LaDena DubaiThank you for hosting Dena Dubai and the details on the studies of klotho. This is tremendous as we are a family that has suffered the devastating gift of generational Alzheimer’s/ Dementia
-
Merlin2/14ThanksLike your very complete reports. It energizes me to try new exercises and that is very cool for this 63 yo. Peace, Steven Hessel in Houston
-
DindovLife changingBest and most helpful podcast. Very well narrated and organized. Only thing it needs improvement is summary of each segment in layman’s terms void of the physician’s lingo.
-
NOY15Extremely disappointedI have no words to explain how sad and heartbreaking is to know you are proud to be friends with Kevin Spacey. It is like I’m mourning someone. The good news is that the heath/podcast space has many great options we can go after this.
-
Arob1Dr Julia WExcellent episode. I appreciate the comprehensive information about enzymes etc. this podcast encourages me to work harder on my health
-
kenpoengineerPost Your Labwork Dr AttiaPost your Labwork report Dr Attia. No way your testosterone level is in the 400’s. You don’t even talk about your free testosterone level. Before continuing talking about Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), you need to correct your understanding of it. Derek with More Plates More Dates can help you.
-
Vargasma51Foot HealthI like your podcast a lot but was surprised by your choice for foot health expert. Why would you have a chiropractor discuss foot health instead of a podiatrist that specializes in it? What’s next - a dentist to discuss orthopedic surgery? Hopefully you’ll circle back around on the topic and invite the actual specialist and most qualified person to discuss it.
