    Fun, insightful, not too long.
Viv’s conversations are just what I needed. I learn something new every time; useful, first hand, practical and truly new insights. The conversation flows easily, like between friends, and the backstory is always suspenseful and compelling. And we get all that within a sensible timeframe.

    Both fun and useful conversations!
I recently finished Viv’s book and was so happy to find out that she had a podcast to go with it! Viv is such a fun, warm and sparky host who asks great questions and hosts inspiring guests! I feel like I’m listening in to a casual conversation over a coffee and always leave each episode with at least one takeaway to try out or feeling inspired like “okay this is possible!”

    Moving and insightful
I was touched by Viv’s interview with Delia Efron. A sharing of the creative process that artists of any medium can find informative and thought-provoking. Thank you Viv.

    Smart conversations, beautifully produced
Viv is such an engaging and dedicated host who leads her guests through engaging, personal, practical, thought-provoking conversations that bring their wisdom, generosity, experience, and humanity to the fore. I love learning how all these very specific women in all their very specific circumstances own the room and teach me how I can apply their lessons in my own room-owning moments.

    Intelligent Enthusiastic Practical Inspiring Fun
I love this podcast- the format of interview pause and deeper dive - keeps the warmth and spontaneity of good interviews with a bit of added information to highlight how that guests actions can help you with your speaking or growth or understanding. So much better than some master class podcasts I’ve tried to listen too. The host is fabulous and her guests I find so inspirational. I cannot recommend this audio enough!

Highly recommend checking this show out - you won’t be disappointed!

    Empowering and practical
This is one of top two favorite podcasts. So helpful, so well produced. Viv Groskop interviews people but she analyses and synthesizes the information throughout the podcast, so it’s not just a long rambling piece of people talking, as many podcasts are. As a woman of color, I would also like to acknowledge that Viv Groskop has highlighted women of a great variety of backgrounds and ethnicities, even before the global outrage following George Floyd’s murder in the hands of police. Thank you for already being a champion of diversity and for broadcasting a variety of voices on the FABULOUS podcast. I can’t wait for the next season!!

    Inspiring conversations with brilliant women.
This has become my new favourite podcast. I have been a fan of Viv’s for a number of years and was excited to read “How to Own the Room - Women and the Art or Brilliant Speaking”. It is a fantastic book and this podcast brings the book to life beautifully. I am blown away by the brilliance of the women Viv interviews. The interviews are relatively brief but they are full of insights, aha moments and brilliant hard-earned wisdom. There is a feeling of intimacy to the conversations that I love. You feel like you are sitting in the room with them. In the editing process, Viv inserts short sections where she comments on something that was said. It is such a great way of adding an extra level of depth and advice to the podcast. The podcasts are like mini masterclasses in owning the room by women who are owning the rooms they are in but who vividly remember what it felt like when they were first in those rooms. To me the book and the podcast go deeper than owning the room even and, in fact, encourage women to own their voice. Love, love, love. So happy that the third series is underway.

    Thank you.
I feel like there is no other way to write this review than to personally write to you, Viv- wholeheartedly because your work here has hit me so deeply personal. I feel like you are sitting right next to me during the cut backs where you pause, and give deeper insight to actionable tips I can start using today. Honestly, I cannot wait to receive my copy of your book and dive deeper into what this means for me, my words, my hives and how the permission you’re giving here to be the kind of speaker that best suits my comfortability will change how I begin to show up. This needed to be done. Thank you for doing it. - Hives and All
