    Consistent Quality
There’s a lot of sneaker podcast out there nowadays but very few with the track record and quality as Sneaker History. The guys really know their stuff and I learn something new every episode. Best community around sneakers you could ask for!! Would recommend a listen

    Best sneaker community around!

    The best sneaker podcast!
“ Ever told someone you liked their kicks? Then this podcast is for you” this is how the podcast opens & that means if you like shoes even a little bit then you are in the right place! They don’t gatekeep like some others might do, each episode sheds light on something I didn’t know or even thought about before. Fair warning tho, you will get hooked on sneakers even more to the point you join the discord channel and make new sneaker head friends! Enjoy! 😊

    You'll learn something
This is one of the best sneaker podcasts out there. I've been into sneakers off and on and have gaps in my knowledge. The wealth of knowledge Nick, Mike, Robbie, and Rohit bring us amazing and I finish episodes knowing more and having stronger opinions about sneakers in general.
  • Quinn PB
    I love these guys!
This is a consistently excellent pod. They are informed, inclusive, and kind, while still having strong, confident takes on all things sneaker and sneaker culture. Love!

I’ve definitely found my little corner of the sneaker internet with this podcast, Rahbee, Rohit, Nick, & their rotating list of guests always have fun discussions that include ALL types of sneakers!

    The Best Sneaker Podcast
Imagine your top 4 guests that you would want on a sneaker podcast, but they actually host the podcast. Really refreshing to listen to a podcast talking about the substance behind sneakers rather than the hype. Listen to an episode and you'll immediately sense how much apprecation and knowledge these guys have for sneakers. Really awesome community on discord too!
  • Ben Meover
    Solid Podcast
Very entertaining and informative. They cover a wide variety of topics and subjects pertaining to shoes and the industry as a whole. And the line up of hosts is top shelf. These guys know what they’re talking about.

    Must Listen
An absolute necessity for all sneaker lovers! The depth of knowledge is second to none and the conversation flows effortlessly. I look forward to every new episode. Subscribe, Like, Follow…you won’t be disappointed (like my parents)!!!

    A Christmas I’ll never forget.
Hey guys, @marrio_restores here. Going back to your Dec 3rd podcast on the 25th anniversary of the Jordan 11. Great pod, my only problem with the 11 is that I wish it was not the holiday release every year. I miss the old days of having different models be the holiday release, bring that back Jordan brand. My top five Air Jordan 11‘s of all time. No order OG Breds, 2001 Cool Grey’s, OG Concords, 2000 Space Jams and the 2001 Women’s White /Metallic Silver lows. Since it’s that time of the year, I want to tell a story about my Christmas of 2005. That year was full of great releases and earlier in the year I saw what Jordan brand was releasing for the year and I was mesmerized by the Ice Blue Air Jordan X and the Red Steel Air Jordan X. Needless to say, I took L’s on both releases and then Christmas came around, that year the Air Jordan XIV “Last Shot” came out and I had to have them. They say third times a charm, well not in my case I took another L on the last shot 14’s. My girlfriend at the time who is now my wife knew how upset I was not getting both pairs of 10’s and the 14. As we open gifts as a couple at our apartment she says “close your eyes” I have two more gifts for you, I didn’t know what to think at first when she said that to me. When I opened my eyes there were two boxes wrapped and she said merry Christmas, Open this box 1st. I unwrapped that box so fast, when I cracked it open and saw that it was the last shot 14’s… I was stunned. How did you get these? Where did you get these from? I say to her as I have the biggest grin on my face. She’s laughing and tells me to open the second box, at this time I didn’t know what to expect but, when I open the second box it was the Red and Steel Grey 10’s that I missed out on in September and in that moment so much emotion came over me that I got a little misty eyed, it must have been all the dust in my apartment that morning and that is my story of the Christmas I’ll never forget. I can not wait to see where the podcast goes in 2021, I know it will be amazing. Love the podcast and love the discord. Have a great and safe Christmas and Happy New Years.

    Necessary Sneaker Podcast
I wasn’t into podcasts until this show. In fact, all I did was search the word “sneakers” and this was the best looking result. Since then, I became a regular listener and joined the discord. It’s a great community and there’s so much history and knowledge about sneakers!

    This Podcast Makes Me Happy
So much of life is about vibes and this podcast and the community surrounding it cultivate a welcoming center for ideas and experiences. I look forward to every episode. I’ve been dealing with some stuff recently in life and hearing these good conversations has really improved my own vibrations. Thanks to Nick and the gang.

    A favorite podcast
Update: I recently became a Patron supporter for this podcast. This is the only podcast I have ever financially supported. I continue to really appreciate what these guys are doing. I enjoy this podcast a great deal. It is the perfect opportunity to nerd out about my favorite hobby. I’m always pumped when the new episode posts. It lightens the drudgery of work, at least for an hour or so. The hosts are all knowledgeable, likable dudes. A couple of them are fellow Portlanders which I appreciate. The community that has formed out of this podcast is excellent. A unique and special show for dorks like me that obsess about sneakers.
  • TripleStix
    Need or not
Always good to hear your opinions on new releases. Love that I’m arguing for and against colorways or models like I’m in the room. Just know this they want me to have it that’s why they made it and I’m here for it, so what I have 15 Chicago colorways there is room for more! Hey love the community and you guys thank you all for the work you do! Reggie

The Heart and the Sole of the Sneaker Industry
As a relapsed sneakerhead that’s slowly finding his footing again, this podcast has been perfect for me to dip my toe back into industry that moves fast. The Achilles heel of the sneaker head is they can be judgmental to an absurd degree, but Robbie, Nick, and Mike make for easy listening as well as provide analysis that educates and entertains even the most seasoned vet. I’m going to stop typing before I put my foot in mouth, but listen to them now and become smarter because of it.
  • Rubentomas
    Great podcast
I love this podcast. As someone who started really getting into sneakers fairly recently, these guys are extremely knowledgeable and have friendly auras. I feel like I could grab a beer or lunch with these guys and just hang out. As someone who does my own semi-successful podcast, I feel inclined to look at the pod from that standpoint too. These guys seem like very genuine friends so it makes the conversations run naturally. Comparing their first few episodes to what it is now is fun because you can tell they’ve gotten so much better with conversation flow. The content is great. From in-depth interviews with people from the sneaker community, to snake draft style shoe drafts, to just general sneaker news talk. This pod has a variety of bits, and there’s something for everyone. The discord rules too. I’m fairly new there but everyone is just so dang nice. I hope to jump in on a zoom call soon.
  • msisson78
    Love this POD
Should have done this a while ago, but I truly love this POD. You all have great chemistry and your approach to discussing sneakers is truly refreshing compared to a lot of what is out there these days. Your last few interviews have been REALLY good as you talk about where we are, where we came from, and where we are going in this space. Keep up the amazing work, you all have a listener for life.

Review after 2 years of listening
This podcast and YouTube videos are my weekly go to for everything sneakers. From new cops, top 5 drafts, new sneaker releases and a who’s who of special guests. Sneaker History brings humor, compassion and information to the game. These podcast is inclusive, thoughtful and smart: all things a good sneaker head needs in their life. The Patreon discord community is also very informative and share up to date info on release date and raffles and other sneaker related info.

    Talking Sneakers for ALL sneakerheads
Get these 4 dudes on mics together and magic happens. It’s a show about sneakers, the industry and the people who care about both. Take the hype and pretense out and leave it at the door. Shoes are functional expressions of art and these gentleman appreciate all types. But beyond the show lies the gem of the operation…the Sneaker History discord. A actual community of people that care less about the kicks on feet but the people behind them. From Food to Futbol Kits and Formula 1 to fevered healthy debate…You name it the SH discord has got it. A golden place that hasn’t been ruined by the exploding and extravagantly influenced industry that is Shoes. They go on your feet people, it’s not that serious. 10/5 stars. Friday Starting 5 candy bars? …Needs to happen guys.

My Personal Weekly Sneaker Therapy Session
I love listening to you guys every week, & love the addition of the sneaker draft as well. A true podcast that shows the ugly and true conversations of the shoes we wear on our feet and the meaning behind them. And as a San Antonio Native, i love my Spurs and i know Mike does too. “Insert burn from Rohit” lol. Love the work and keep it up !
  • gregchill
    Nice
This podcast is great. Have been listening for awhile. Not just about hype sneakers. Is a bunch of older sneaker heads. Very basketball oriented. Not much on the street wear site. Still I love this podcast. Is nice to hear that people just love sneakers.

    5IVE stars from the 5ivedawg
I always said i was gonna leave a review, why not now.🤷🏾‍♂️ (Disregard the time if you can see it) I’ve been listening to the podcast for about a year, and now it’s part of my weekly schedule. Over this time, I think I’ve interacted with you all on either Twitter or IG, also. The @ is the same as above. I’ve been into sneakers since 1994 via Eastbay magazines (shoutout the true OG) so it’s refreshing to hear about sneakers from men closer to my age. Discussing sneakers isn’t as great with a 20 year old lol. Long story short, keep up the great work, the My Favorites series is amazing and I hope you keep it up, especially with the corresponding IG posts with pics. One day I’ll join the Patreon and Diachord and we can discuss the best Gummi candy. Not the biggest on m&m’s. 2 fingers, the 5ivedawg.

This is a solid look at sneaker culture from OG'S, but not just for OG's. Great work guys!

    Love the show
Let’s talk non hoops signature shoe lines. Top 3 1) Agassi 2) Bo Jackson (give him the cred for the air trainer line) 3) Deion Sanders. Granted I’m an old head but would love to hear a pod on the topic. Let’s go!

    Am I in the room?
Fellas, this pod is giving me life every episode. I feel so entrenched in the conversations y’all have that I find myself speaking up in an empty room thinking I am there with you. Love how natural and flowing the topics are, keep up all your great work! I know we all have day jobs, but we appreciate the time and energy y’all put into the pod every episode! All love!
  • Mikehhhggfg
    Consistent, entertaining and Informative
The discussion from the Sneaker History crew is always entertaining and you will learn something new about the industry, a brand, line or particular model every episode. And it’s refreshing to take in sneaker media without a lot of the painfully cliche and overused vernacular that plagues the hobby. And there is no place in the world for hot cinnamon candy, candy is meant to be sweet.
  • Shoetistics
    Best podcast for everything sneakers
The Sneaker History Podcast is by and far my favorite outlet for everything sneakers. The crew does an amazing job touching on anything going on within the sneaker world and consistently lends their spot-on insight that oftentimes challenges the norm. The ability these guys have to gracefully weave old sneaker stories between the banter and news is something that really sets this podcast apart from the rest. The knowledge and passion these guys have for sneakers is an inspiration. So much in fact that I was inspired to create my own sneaker blog combining my passion for sneakers and data analytics/visualization. You can check it out at Shoetistics.com. Keep up the great podcast and sharing your knowledge and stories with the community!

Thoughtful Sneaker Discussion -- Beyond the Usual Topics
If your name isn't Portland Trail Blazers and you're looking for a sneaker podcast that goes beyond the typical listicals you'll find exhaustively discussed on every other sneaker-related show then you've found the right place. From Rohit's ability to analyze and masterfully communicate his thoughtful takes on, seemingly, any topic, Robbie's humorous, curated hypebeast tendencies backed up by extensive retail experience, Mike's ability to dig deeper into product offerings and, unintentionally, compel you to be more unique in your purchasing decisions to Nick's intelligent, introspective takes developed through years of experience, both, inside and outside the sneaker industry -- you'll be hard pressed to find a more well-rounded sneaker podcast. If you're looking for a community that harkens back to the times of early 2000s Niketalk or you are currently frustrated with what mass-market, commodified sneaker culture has become in the instagram age, I highly recommend joining the patreon and gaining access to the discord. You'll find a genuine community of unpretentious users who span the gamut of sneaker interests and will, more than likely, remind you of why you became interested in sneakers in the first place.

    Awesome Podcast
Hey it’s SLum_NW from IG. I think it’s cool that I always learn something new listening to the Sneaker History podcast and that you guys are always super positive. I get hyped up every time I hear that intro... “Allen for the win, yeah!!!” Thanks for posting new episodes consistently and multiple times a week. Also Mike’s YouTube channel is pretty awesome, enjoyed watching a few episodes recently. I need to check out the Sneaker History YouTube channel as well. Much love, keep up the informative entertaining content.
  • Muhuhhahaha
    These guys are cool
They all just talked at the same time over each other followed by long periods of silence and awkward laughs to nothing, it was wild. That being said these guys are cool they just need to get that audio part down.
  • HellakicksGerald
I’d take the insoles out too!
I’ve just recently found your show, it’s funny I’m roughly your age, maybe a bit older, but never really got into the online sneaker world, I just collected and chased them in my own world. Anyways I enjoy your takes on numerous topics and the pod really entertaining. I was driven to write when Nick didn’t like the Iversons b/c they are Cowboys themed. I miss that type of actual fandom in a works of champion pants with yeezy kicks and off-white hoodies. Anyways not even hating the hype beast stuff just like the true sneaker head, use to order off east bay stuff. Really wish I knew about Nike Talk back in the day. Keep your head up Nick the niners will get back to the super bowl soon. I just spent 30 minutes inspecting my Fire Red 4’s they look ok.. Between you guys, complex and SoleSavy I got my sneaker pods locked. The best Eminem may be Godzilla.. but check out Twista on the new Kay Slay 50 deep and tell me he’s not trying to tell him not to get any ideas..
  • RyanShoe
    Awesome podcast!
Shoutout Robbie, Mike, and Nick! Always a good conversation regarding the shoes we love and maybe the shoes we love to hate. Love how they keep it real and its definitely reminiscent of the old forum day talk. IYKYK! Keep up the great work y’all and I’d love to see more video content maybe a live recording of a podcast with audience engagement.

    🔥
I love this show and listen to every episode. Definitely give it a listen, you will not be disappointed. Also, these guys are real dudes. I DM’d a question and they responded within a day with a linked article and advice to answer my question. I offered to fulfill Nick’s wish of dyeing the paisley 1s purple whenever they come out to be prince - themed and he gave my customs page a follow on instagram. Real dudes, love listening to their stuff when working out or doing customs, definitely worth a listen and give them a sub. Peanut butter M and Ms are where it’s at.

    one of the greats
one of the best sneaker podcasts, a wealth of knowledge shared by great personalities...listen if you havent yet.. quit sleeping like this pod is a pair of mike giant x adidas superskate. as an older sneaker appreciator, its nice to hear perspectives and stories from fellow ‘old heads’...and if you havent, watch nicks ‘sneaker battle’ .. gems, and that episode is one of my favorites. my only disagreement is that crispy m&ms are, in my opinion, preferable to the coffee.. peanut butter, and caramel are also great new addition...
  • ellaesco
Most legit sneaker podcast by the most legit guys
If you’re like me and save things to “binge watch” or in this case, “binge listen,” this will for sure have you “balls deep!” I am playing catch up on all the episodes and every single topic/discussion never lets me down. Most recent episodes (October 2020) have me feeling nostalgic in hearing the journeys of some mutual friends. Sometimes I catch myself commenting back (alone in the car) to Nick, “way to be diplomatic and dodge that.” But...I can be pretty harsh. Lol. Robbie (how have we been in Vegas and pdx and not at the same time?!) says it like it is — THANK YOU FOR THAT. Mike rounds it out with solid opinions. They are more than I just described, but this is already a novella. The point is that these guys know what they’re talking about, they’ve been in the industry, and they’ve been fans or collectors probably a lot longer than many of their subscribers. Guests on the show are people you should know or research, much alike their topics! Peanut m&ms are trash. Pretzel is good. Peanut butter is better. M&M minis are dare I say decadent?! Lol. Download the episodes, one at a time or binge; it is $ex for your sneaker-loving ears; I promise. Respectfully- ellaesco. Ps I WILL get on the discord.

    #1 sneaker podcast
Absolutely love this podcast! I've tried out other sneaker podcasts, but this one covers all the bases. From "sneaker history", the latest drops and news, to great interviews, this is exactly what I'm looking for. I found it a couple weeks ago and i've been slapping in my headphones at work and literally knocking out 2-3 episodes a day. I'm a big Jordan/ 90's Nike basketball shoe fan so I love the episodes on older sneaker signature lines (ie the Penny Hardaway and Charles Barkley episodes). I signed up for the Patreon and joined the discord today as well. ps: I DM'd Robbie on IG today and sent him my address for the M&M's lol! Had to signinto my mom's itunes to leave a review, but this podcast is well worth the extra effort. Keep up the great work guys!
