Scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Caught off guard - there was not a language warning on this episode… in fact it is marked clean…. Imagine my surprise as I’m listening to this in front of my family … And the narrator drops the f-bomb ! You need to rectify the rating and perhaps indicate a warning to the listener Podcast in general is top notch !

Please go back to the original format. The Talking Dateline episodes are terrible.

Why the hate? I for one absolutely love it. Skip it if you don’t like it.

They need to stop posting fluff. I haven’t listened to the last 6 episodes of the actual Dateline Podcast because my feed is only ever showing “Talking Dateline” or one of the bonus episodes that I am uninterested in. Stick to Dateline and Talking Dateline at most.

I love Dateline but it is almost impossible to understand the audio of the interrogations even with headphones on. Is there anything that can be done about this issue?

I love Dateline, weather I'm watching it or listening to it! I think that it is good to inform people what has happened to others. So you can stay safe and catch onto scams. Also to just tell these people’s stories and give them justice. so there loved one will be remembered.

I don’t know what happened but this isn’t the dateline I used to listen to. This new format is not good. Very disappointing

Please remove or allow us to skip over the talking dateline.

There’s barely a new episode in the past few months with almost all of them being repeats from years ago just being re-released as a new one. Adding to the frustration they had the audacity to introduce a subscription for recycling old episodes. If you want people to pay money then at least put in some effort. Used to be my go-to but now just a waste of time to even bother to check. Unfollowed!

Show is completely different Refer back to show in nbc Want subscribers Subscription provides what we heard before… I would call it a different name altogether makes more sense.

wow. i quit listening to this episode early on due to the unprofessional way it was presented.. between the music, you’re sing song approach and your story telling style did an injustice to the victims in this crime!!!!!

I love this part of the podcast. People are crazy if you don’t wanna listen to it just don’t listen to it. I’ll find it very interesting and love to hear other peoples opinions. Keep going talking dateline I know other people who like it also.

Hi, you guys by far at the best true crime podcast. I love the music, voices and how it’s narrated. Thank you. But we need more than one episode a week, lol..

This episode was so bizarre compared to typical Dateline. The audio effects were horrible and irritating. But moreover, I've never heard an episode that was so disrespectful and unprofessional to a guest who was interviewed. The constant insinuations and build up of "something more happening" or even a romantic relationship between the journalist and Kevin came off as so unprofessional. Dateline has interviewed so many people involved in cases who have questionable backgrounds or who have done bad things and it's always done respectfully with the emphasis on the story, justice, and the visions. This episode about anything but justice or the victims.

What was that???? That was annoying. Please go back to the basic.

Love the regular podcasts. Pay premium to hear them. Put out more regular episodes. Way to far between them. Cut out talking dateline. Haven’t listened to a full one yet but need more new regular episodes. Come on, you have plenty and we’re paying for them. Thank you

Is there a way to delete or skip over all the "talking dateline" episodes? I don't like them.

Best story ever!! Areal psychological thriller.

What is with the recent episodes. The production is over done, too much music and special effects. It was almost unlistenable. Back to basics, it’s why we listened in the first place.

I’m new to podcasts And I love true life, Serial Killers, murder documentaries. Love dateline 🖤 keith morrison has a fabulous smooth voice, I could listen to him all day. I have been listing him none stop while at work. Totally addicted now.

I love dateline and have been watching and listening for many years - this new episode they tried to change the audio style? It’s horrible. Random drum beats and a ridiculously long intro of heavy breathing. Very distracting and does not make sense with the storyline. Would love it if they went back to how it was.

Wow! I am fascinated by this one. It’s a great episode but have so many questions specifically for the journalist. Just don’t understand…

Highly recommend cutting out the “Talking Dateline” and other “preview” episodes that are simply promoting another podcast. Get back to releasing actual dateline stories and episodes as that’s what the listeners really want. Not to mention the amount of repeat stories that appear to have little effort put into them or seem to be a copy from other true crime podcasts. Willing to update my review for this if they listen and bring back content actually worth listening to. Prior to this I’d have given it an easy 5 stars.

This is a very well-put-together podcast that professionally delves into the stories behind all sorts of different crimes. I think if you want to listen to something thrilling and unlock your inner detective, this podcast is perfect for you!!!

Dateline, who needs my money oh so much than I do….NOT…making a follow up episode and you have to pay to hear it!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Inflation, high food prices, high gas prices, high everything! I don’t care if ur middle class, or lower, the one thing we can afford to do, that one thing to take the stress away or to keep our minds busy on something other than the cost of living & now I have to pay for that too? This podcast is terrible it’s like the woman who was killed was the best person ever in the history of earth best mom, best friend, loyal honest but then they go on to say oh but she was having an affair and oh she liked to steal and she often lied to her husband but she’s great person so dumb. So in conclusion if you want to sound like the best person ever get murdered then have your story told on this show.

Narration and music are very professional and fit so well with the stories. Love the interviews and the investigative questions. I can “see” the action in my mind, and that’s a sign of a great podcast!

I paid for premium because I absolutely love the new (and old) episodes in podcast form and I was hoping for more of them. Thoroughly disappointed that the additional content is the Talking Dateline episodes. Just give us more stories and forget the other nonsense.

Not sure why, but most weeks when a “new” episode is released it is not a new episode. There have been a few new ones recently but I have noticed over the last few months that new episodes are ones that I have seen on television or heard via the podcast before. Slightly upsetting when you’re looking forward to a new episode, you get a notification that one has been released then when you open it up and get ready to listen you realize it’s an old episode/case. The Dateline show (and podcast) is by far my favorite true crime option. Hopefully newer episodes will be on the horizon.

This announcer/host is a totally inappropriate choice for these stories, which are for the most part tragic. His roller coaster voice track would be more appropriate for a silly insurance commercial. It’s almost like he’s mocking both the victims and the audience. Unlistenable.

I like main episodes. I will update this rating when it becomes possible to find main episodes again. I’ve had it with previews, bonuses, recaps, and ads for other series being released as episodes. It’s literally impossible to find any actual episodes anymore in this flood of non-content content. Make a difference show for it, or lose my subscription to this one.

Makes me wonder what the f is going on with Ohio, Greenley Colorado (don’t care to spell check myself), and Texas. I mean Texas is obvious, but come on Ohio and Colorado get your s together! Say what you want about my hometown NYC, but let’s be real rural America is messed up. I’ll stick to my cities all day

Nobody wants talking dateline and all these other random things on this feed

I can’t find the actual episodes because of all the trailers. Please stop that or I have to get rid of my subscription. I don’t want it to be complicated. I can get dateline through audible. And I’d rather listen to a couple of commercials than take ten minutes finding a show.

Who made the unfortunate decision to bombard us with so many repeat episodes, “pod-cast” styled talking points, and “filler” content that does nothing for the listener except irritate us? You’ve lost me as a paying subscriber. Change is not always a positive thing. Stop junking up your play list. Read your low rating reviews and take action. Geeeeeze!

If you don’t like it don’t listen. Those of us who do appreciate the content.

I’ve been a fan of dateline from day one. And became a premium member when I first started listening to pods. But quickly found my up next query was being inundated with 2-5 minute “what to listen to next” “introducing yadayadayada” & talking dateline which I don’t care for.

Please stop flooding us with all these short previews. No one wants to waste their time listening to a short clip. We are usually driving or in motion, so these previews are a dangerous distraction.

Love dateline, but all of the added “previews” and “talking datelines” are beyond annoying. I often don’t even see new episodes because there is too much junk in their playlist.

I’m over the recycling of episodes and bonus content.

But with all of the pictures/videos shown on the televised episodes, it doesn’t translate well into a podcast. Also when interviewing people who don’t speak English, it would be nice to have a voiceover in English. I’m sure on the televised episode, there is captioning.

Thank you for all the work and commitment to each of the stories you feature. Talking Dateline is a great behind-the-scenes look at how episodes come together - very well done. I love Lester, Josh, Andrea, Dennis and Keith, but add more females to the roster!
