The Gamecasters: A Board Gaming Podcast About Board Games

29

There are SO many podcasts about board games, but so few that feature us! Join Natalie, Jeff and Ryan as we discuss new games we‘ve recently played. Listen to our unique segments like the Boardgame Beatdown, where we take a super popular game and read all the lowest rated BGG comments it has, or the Instagram Inbox where we ask for participation from our listeners on social media. We also usually play some sort of game that you can play along with, and we always end the show with a Top 5 list! There is a lot of content, discussion and laughter packed into every episode. Come join in the fun every other Sunday!!!

Board game podcast by those who don’t play board games anymore
2 of the 3 hosts don’t even play board games anymore. I started listening recently and 75% of the podcast is them talking about random things, definitely NOT board games. Don’t even bother subscribing unless you want random convos on your podcast.

Show needs a visit from HR
The actual reviews intakes of games are pretty good. But any credibility is shot by the way this guy talks. It’s completely vulgar and misogynistic and I find it to be very disrespectful to the female cohost. Not sure why it’s even necessary or who this guy thinks he is. It’s 2025 dude show some respect.

    Fun and enthusiastic
This is one of my favorite gaming podcasts. The episodes are very long, and some of the language is not for me. It is a testament to how much I enjoy these guys that I listen anyway, and that I almost always listen to the entire episode. What I value about this team is that when they discuss a game I get a real sense of the game experience, how they felt while playing. I have purchased at least two games following such discussion. The games included in the episode appear in the title. If you are not interested in the chatter but you see a game of interest I encourage you to still try the episode and fast forward to the game discussion to make that part of your purchasing decisions. As I said, I have found myself consuming the whole thing.

    Very humorous…and games
Yes! These people are for me. Board gaming and laughs at the same time? Cool show.

    Awesome Show!
Fantastic show. Extremely entertaining, creative and unique. Great mix of humor and helpful board game reviews and commentary. Definitely not family friendly with adult language and topics but quickly rising to the top of my favorite board game podcasts. Great that Natalie, Jeff and Ryan are local Michiganders too. Thanks for all the work you all put into producing such an amazing show.

    Give them a listen
A nice trio of folk that are going places. Funny, genuine, and just plain good at podcasting. I hope they remember us little folk when they make the big time! Godspeed! Gaby

Best Non Family Friendly Gaming Podcast
See above. Definitely make you feel like you are part of the conversation. They cover a lot of new games and aren’t afraid to tell you a game isn’t good for them, but give you reasons why you might like the game.

    Jerk Review
Great group with great humor. I mostly agree with there reviews, actual honest reviews which are rare to come by. Wish you guys liked more high conflict games but oh well I’ll still flip the table in a co-op.

    Too Long
These episodes are too long and one of the host’s voice is very grating. No need to hear him even longer. Shorten it up.

    Humorous and insightful
Just recently found this podcast through their Instagram account. They have a great chemistry together and are able to mix in humor with insight reviews of board games. Would highly recommend listening to an episode because you’ll find yourself listening to more and more.

Started for games. Continued for laughter.
Thought I’d check out a new (to me) podcast about tabletop games. I didn’t expect the amount of laughter that has occurred. Keep up the great work Jeff, Ryan, and Natalie!

Fun, casual, board game convos with cool peeps
I love listening to this podcast because it’s like just hanging out with your friends after a gaming session and talking about anything game related, pop culture related, and it’s always light hearted and fun. Makes me wanna start up a podcast of my own but I’m not nearly this creative or interesting so I’ll leave that to the professionals. They each bring something special to the table. Ryan has this infectious energy and enthusiasm that sets the tone, Jeff has this professional demeanor and sort of like an anchor or reporter vibe with his segments, and Natalie brings her charm and humor that brings everything into a perfect circle of good times. I’ve laughed like crazy listening to them. So glad I stumbled upon them. Keep up the great work.
