DecumariaAlways chaos on the pitchHey girls, always enjoy listening though sometimes you talk so fast with those beautiful Manchester(?) accents. Particularly appreciated your discussion of the final Chelsea vs Man United match because you never mention Arsenal. All the hype and back and forth on other pods even commentary during the game that Arsenal win the league if Chelsea drop points to Man United annoyed me. Arsenal had nothing to do with this competitive beautiful game between our favourite clubs. Gotta love Man United 1) because the great Casey Stoney built it; 2) because the fan favourite “Take me home United Road” is the best football song ever; 3) because Pernille Harder and her dad are United fans (surely this accounts for Chelsea and Denmark singing the original “Country Roads” in celebration). I agree that Lucy Bronze is the best footballer in the world. And she’s transferring to the NWSL after the EUROS! That means she’ll be here for the chaos of the playoffs. Okay. So which west coast team? Casey Stoney’s San Diego tops the table! Freya Coombe’s Angel City is 2nd! Expansion teams in the NWSL never perform . . . until now. Amazing. And best of all their fans pack Toreo and the Banc for home games. The woman’s game is thriving here in the NWSL. Though not so much for NC Courage since they brought back she-who-shall-not-be-named. When the fans spoke out, management issued clueless homophobic statements in response and alienated their fans. Oops! The latest is that NC fans no longer show up, attendance is down, and the players feel deflated. However, when Casey Stoney’s Wave came to town featuring top scorer Alex Morgan, the place rocked out. The fans cheered Alex who scored the winning goal for the Wave. After the game a couple of cool lesbians were so undaunted as to get engaged on the pitch and even kiss, kiss, right in front of she-who-shall-not-be-named. NC Courage is at the bottom of the table reaping what they sow. I think Casey Stoney, former Lioness defender, recruited defender Lucy Bronze to play for the San Diego Wave, and I’m here for it. The greatest footballer in the world is joining the NWSL in August before the WSL season kicks off. Promise me you’ll watch some games. Promise. Love the pod. Thanks.

krugerfIt’s a great showAs an American and a Sam Kerr fan at that, I love this podcast. The humor mixed in with analysis is great. The chemistry between the hosts is top notch.

Tape DoctorThese Girls Have BallsThe best podcast for analysis, opinions, and humor for women’s football in England. They are a little more crude than Football Weekly at times but that is part of what makes them great. Nice to have a pod where women’s football is not an afterthought. A passionate tearing of a new one for all those players who thought taking a holiday in Dubai while the rest of us sat at home because that was the right thing to do or was our only option was terrific. People make mistakes and they deserved to be called out for it when it is such an egregiously poor choice.

BoggleChampion2Great showLove the cheeky humor. I laugh during every listen. But more importantly, I appreciate that this podcast has such intelligent conversation and in-depth analysis. As a pretty new fan of women’s soccer and the FA WSL in particular, I’m learning a lot and enjoying every minute. Also the hosts have great chemistry. Keep the pods coming!

jjhodge99QualityGuaranteed to give you a laugh, sometimes gives you knowledge. Legends.

Sue D'NimhThis podcast has no right to be this goodIf drinking beer from a used football boot isn’t worth five stars, I don’t know what is.
-
littlextinaaLoving it!Listener from the US and big arsenal fan - love your personalities and insights! Another good word for ‘control freak’ might better be ‘meticulous’ :) psyched for Sarina and the Lionesses! i gave this 5 stars no idea why it says 3!!

BrooklynsoonerWhat a quality podcastAs an American who loves women’s football I really appreciate that I can keep up with FAWSL over in the UK so easily now with the FA player and this brilliant podcast that gives the league some context. The hosts (Tamsin and Charlotte) are intelligent, witty and have breath and depth of football knowledge that allows me to learn a lot about their beloved league and the game itself. I only wish that there was a fan hosted podcast here in the USA that covered the NWSL in this same manner. What do you say ladies? I can’t recommend this podcast enough.
-
Sannah GSuperior qualityAs an American new to following football, I learn so much from this podcast. I love the analysis, the humor, and the critiques. I wish we had a pod like this focused on NWSL and US soccer.
-
ms. boyskiHilariousAnd knowledgeable. Brilliant.

LynnMeatloaf.Love it!I’m from the US and love hearing the English take on women’s soccer. Nice mix of analytical and humorous commentary!
-
Lissa SilverPitch perfectThere is nowhere I’d wallaby than listening to Tamsin, Charlotte (and used to beHelen) talk about balls. Their hilarious English humor makes me laugh out loud in the car driving to work. They love football, know their stuff, and are a gem of a pair. Only downside is I can’t go to the games they talk about because I live in America 😭all our best players from here are going to England. RIP Sam Kerr. Need a couple of appearances from Helen again with her American accent. That was darling.
-
Rebbert14Love themWallaby darned! These two are not only hilarious and entertaining, but highly knowledgeable about football! My favorite podcast to listen too!
-
mhirschlerLove it!The perfect blend of funny and analytical. Can not recommend highly enough!
-
Mkayter36Perfect PodcastAmazing podcast! Great production quality, interviews and insights. I love that y’all put some personality, opinions and laughs into your show. Other WSL/NWSL podcasts are simply recaps and come across a bit dry. I especially love the Lionesses coverage. Thanks for doing what you do. Big love from America!
-
Coach Sarah BradyApproachable, informative and a good laugh tooMy intention for subscribing was to keep up with the Women’s game back home. Up until now I’ve listened to podcasts hosted by Americans on Women’s football...(insert the obvious here). This one is a refreshing change. Good football talk combined with a load of personality and a good laugh. It’s great to listen to people who offer their opinion without concerning themselves overly with the dull PC censorship that unfortunately plagues a lot of football these days. Great little laugh girls. Keep being you ;)
-
abena2I luv it!American soccer podcsters please learn from these two amazing women!! This podcast is well edited, informative about football (and feminism I dare say), and above all entertaining. I now also love Lucy Bronze! Although I do wish you talked more about Tobin Heath... She keeps getting all of these awards, but no one says anything beyond "yeah she's great".
-
karennssinformative and fungreat weekly recaps of the wsl and very entertaining discussions! wish the episodes were longer :)
-
Kimmy110421Highly RecommendNew to the soccer world. Started with NWSL (sorry I’m American) and this podcast the perfect intro to the WSL. Super funny and informational. Love the work you two do to grow the game!
-

molahsDefinitely check this podcast out, 10/10 would recommend! Was OBSESSED with the world cup podcast so I am so so happy they’re continuing on with this one! Great listen for a new fan to football (me) or a lifelong player- it feels just like a fun conversation with friends about football and all the angry men that impose themselves on our lives. Thank you Tamsin and Helen, you’re killing it!!!!

Tea Sip CelebrationFirst ReviewHey look, this is the first review. This podcast is super awesome; it’s about women’s soccer from the perspective of women’s soccer fans and it’s funny. Lots of amusing banter, accents, and calling out trash men. Love the pod. 5 Stars.
