Brian GouletChildish GigglingWay too much random, high pitched giggling when nothing funny or amusing has been said. The hosts frequently talk in “baby voice” and then start laughing with a conspicuous use of “like” as a filler which occurs every other word. It’s obnoxious and distracting. I, like, put, like, a sticker on that ( laugh, laugh , laugh ). Ugh. I had to turn this off. 70 percent of each episode is childish, filler laughter. Adults should sound like adults — not giggling teenagers, please.

thingsemilythinksarecoolSo Welcoming and FunI love sipping a hot drink listening to all the insights about the stationery world! I am new to this community, but only because I never knew it existed— it’s exactly the creative tool I needed. I am using these tips and ideas to revive my childhood love of stickers and notebooks. This podcast has been my “welcome home” to a community I never knew I needed. So grateful this podcast exists & now I’ll never miss an episode. x

ssmq61eSo much fun!Hearing people discuss what they love with unabashed enthusiasm is a delight. The excitement and charm for the newest and cutest never dims, and learning about the artists that actually create beautiful things is a treat. So positive, so engaging.

MeloPlannerI found my people! LolI’ve been such a fan of this podcast- it’s so relatable and I feel like I’ve found my people; the topics are fun and educational, as are the struggles with journaling, making time, adjusting to busy and changing schedules, etc. There IS a huge enabling component BUT I also love that April, Phyllis and Kelly talk about shopping your stash, how to find ways to know what you have so you’re using more of it, and how they share stationary among their friends group. I also love the broad range of the guests we’ve seen so far - including (but not limited to) women in male-dominated careers, men who don’t fit cultural norms I’ve been used to seeing (as a woman who grew up in the US), and wonderfully creative individuals who have been able to make friends all over the globe. I learn something new all the time and look forward to hearing this podcast every week!

DVM98Mandatory listening for stationery heads!I love this podcast! The Happy Hour is the funniest and most useful stationery commentary around. I love when April and Kelly are hilariously honest and fully aware of their inability to resist the draw of many items. I so appreciate April’s and Phyllis’s perspective regarding the elusive and manufactured requirement for “planner peace.” I felt heard when they gave me “permission” to just change a system if it isn’t working; to recognize that a large part of the enjoyment for me is placing a sticker, inking a pen, hearing the sound of the nib scratch; and that the pleasure in the process is as valid as the content of the writing. Many times these podcasts are as therapeutic as journaling. Thank you ladies for your hard work providing excellent and entertaining FREE content for us stationery heads! Looking forward to your Patreon! P.S. Love the cameos from Cookie, Phyllis’s baby, and any commentary regarding CURRENT and IMPORTANT national events. 💕

ohaijoyThe Greatest of All TimeThe Stationery Cafe is my favorite podcast. I love listening to April, Phyllis, Kelly, and various guests they have on. It feels like you’re sitting around at a cafe with friends, nerding out about stationery. I look forward to new episodes every week. I love learning about new products, new ways to journal or plan, and all the different stories of how people have come to love stationery.

ProloquousermomThe place for planner talkI really enjoy this podcast. These girls are so friendly. They discuss all things stationery including planners, journals, fountain pens, travelers notebooks, and more. While they love the products and decorating their pages they are also great at planning and journaling. They have some interesting guest interviews. I have learned a lot. Highly recommend!

alol4716A new favorite!Absolutely love this podcast! Listening to April and Phyllis nerd out about planners and stationery is such a treat. I love all the great guests they have on the podcast and all the amazing creators they mention (especially non-US creators to add to the follow list!)

Plushies123Seriously?If you don’t like consumerism, skip this one. Sounds like people journal to just fill up blank pages because they bought too much
-

MoudhiPaintsSo much fun! This has quickly become my favorite podcast to listen to. It’s suitable for all journaling styles.. You get up to date news about new items, new creators and shops, as well as supporting small businesses.. The enthusiasm and positivity of the hosts and guests is contagious, the passionate way they talk about their tools and how they use them to create beautiful memories is inspiring and has helped me get out of my comfort zone and try new new things. The Facebook community is so wonderful and I especially enjoy the Tuesday night virtual meetups learning and creating new beautiful things. Highly recommend this podcast!

sparklyspringrollTuned out when there was mention of BLMEnough about BLM. They are an insidious organization with a hidden agenda and is using systemic racism to push that narrative. PLEASE DO NOT DONATE TO BLM. Do your research about where your money is actually going (definitely not where you think it should). You are better off spending that dough on more stationery and it will further your own personal happiness. And if you share that with your friends and loved ones you can positively impact them. I am a 20-something Viet woman with kids and I’m just tired of young people jumping on this bandwagon and not knowing crap about what they proclaim to support. So if not supporting BLM makes me racist then I rather be that than a sheep.

Tallula BigcupsThe Baby NoiseI would really like this a lot more if it wasn't for the baby noise in the background. Really annoying to try and listen with that. Not everyone likes kids and expecially non-stop noise from a baby.
-
mavenleighBest stationery podcast!!Love their reviews & discussions. I’ve discovered so many stores, other influencers, stationery items, & new stationery brands because of them. Follow them on IG to see the beautiful visuals. I listen to them while driving, planning, & traveling. Only wish they published podcasts more frequently & on IG 🤞🏽🙏🏽❣️
