Great podcast for Coach’s and/or Personal Trainers!
I love to listen to Rachel each week. She’s breaks down all of the scientific information and delivers it to the “Gen Pop” so it can be easily understood and implemented. All of her topics are very interesting and helpful for me especially being a nutrition coach myself and previous personal trainer. ;)

    My must listen weekly pod
I never miss an episode! Rachel has a good balance of topics and mixes up shows between interviews and Q&A. The content in this podcast has helped me in so many ways! It’s a must listen on my weekly rotation.

    Ramble on…
I tried to like this podcast, but I can’t listen to it anymore. Rachel rambles on, repeats herself and says “um” a LOT and she verbally acknowledges that she does this in the podcast! She also talks way too fast. If you are aware, what are you doing to make a change? The information is good and that why it’s unfortunate that I have to stop listening. She has had some good guests but needs to hone in on the interview questions to have the best experience possible. Good luck to you Rachel. I hope that you make some improvements to the show to attract more listeners.

    Most informative!
This is currently one of my favorite podcasts, I feel that Rachel really shares all of the information without holding back. She is well-informed and has a ton of experience in many areas of diet and training. I have been on a ketogenic diet for a long time, and I may consider re-incorporating carbs at some point after listening to many of her podcasts. I would love to have one on one session with her!

I always learn something new with each episode and if I ever question something Rachel does a great job responsing. By far one of my favorite podcasts!

I recently heard Rachel’s podcast highly recommended on another podcast I was enjoying. I was intrigued so I listened to one of her most recent podcasts and LOVED it! I then sent it to a group of my girlfriends. Rachel is very knowledgeable and helps to break things down in a simpler way to understand for people who love fitness and health but haven’t gone through all the schooling to learn every detail. Rachel also encourages me through her podcast to continue to work harder to be a healthier and fitter me.

Rachel’s podcast is amazing, so educational! Both her solo Q&A episodes and her episodes with great guests provide such a useful wealth of knowledge for fitness and nutrition, focusing on metabolic flexibility. I also really appreciate how Rachel translates scientific/technical topics into layman’s terms for practical use for all listeners to clearly understand so they can apply these concepts into their routines!

    Love these podcasts!
Always learn something new, and loved suggestions on how to push my limits through progressive overload and when go to max effort in this episode
  • Megher2
Episode 88 - But listen to them all!
I’ve been listening to Rachel’s podcast since the beginning and I learn something new every episode! This one focused on training to failure, and I really learned that there’s a big difference between going to failure on every exercise (whether mechanical or form) and getting CLOSE to failure. A couple 1-2 RIR will get you the real muscle building results you want, but actual failure is more prone to causing injury. So training to complete failure on every exercise everyday is probably more detrimental! So important to know!
  • c_roll77
    A lot to unpack here!
In what can only be described as a dumpster fire of a year I sought to learn more about nutrition and muscle building while walking my way through the pandemic. I found Metflex through a series of Instagram recommendations and boy am I glad I did. I am constantly learning from stuff I should know, like keep track of your resistance training to see progress, to learning a whole new approach to fasting called Protein Sparing Modified Fast (PSMF). I appreciate this content so much, the podcast features both interviews with experts on a variety of topics as well and q&a sessions with the host drawing on her vast knowledge as a coach.
  • loveland3031

I have enjoyed listening to Rachel’s podcast so much this summer! She is a wealth of knowledge and she has fantastic guests on their share their knowledge and secrets. I have had several burning questions answered that I was unable to find answers to anywhere else! I just download the Podcast before my outdoor walk and before I know it 3 miles are done! Such a great use of your time!

I have been following Rachel since she started her nutrition Instagram a few years back. I have always enjoyed all the content she has put out and this podcast is no exception. I love how she makes each concept easy to understand and applicable to my life.

Great podcast. Love Rachel and her guests
I have been listening from the beginning and always learn something new. This episode I took away some new information about Essential Amino Acids. Going to explore for more detail.

    Learning every episode
I’ve followed Rachel for a while, but until recently, I started listening more of her podcast in a more consistent manner. I love them all! Even when it’s a subject I’m not super fond of or don’t know much about. I’ve been debating whether or not to start my online business and this episode let me see that although valuable, you don’t need all the education and degrees in the world to start something. Failure and experience will get you to succeed. Thanks Rachel!
  • MG_dontfearfat
    Fun and informative
Love listening to Rachel's podcast. She's fun, keeps it real, and I always take away a few pearls from each episode. Amazing guests you've had on the show already - asking the questions we all want to know answers to! I have to admit I had a little giggle at you trying to figure out how to say "kitu" in the supercoffee episode :) You talked about having a new intro to the podcast but I actually like how you get straight into it!
  • johnnyomist
    Another quality listen!
I enjoy Rachel’s podcasts because she backs up the products she uses by making connections & relationships with the people involved in this products and then has them on the show. The Evolution of Super Coffee is a perfect example of this. She always has interesting guests that range in their involvement in the nutrition space. Very clear and informative questions that provoke great conversation. In the Super Coffee pod, what really stuck out to me was when Jimmy said “you’re never going to be ready” meaning that any big decision will never feel like the right time so you may as well just go for it. Thanks for another great listen!
  • marissaleigh88
    Always informative!
I enjoy listening to the Met Flex and chill podcast because as a fitness and wellness professional I am always looking for new knowledge to share with my clients and to test out myself. One thing I loved about the recent episode with Jimmy Decicco is how he talked about you need to take action because if you wait to be ready you will never get there. This was inspiring as I’d love to start my own fitness and health coaching business but struggle with wanting everything to be perfect before launching instead of learning as I go. Thanks Rachel! Keep bringing the awesome content to the podcast space!
  • Rrw77816
    Getting shredded broken down simply
Rachel does a great job breaking down what you need to know/do to be able to really lean. The most impactful point she made that stuck with me is “Know your why”. Know why you want to get lean/shredded, not just “I want a six pack”, so that you have the motivation and incentive achieve your goal.
  • Bigredgirl77
    Being lean and shredded
Just listened to your recent podcast about being lean and shredded. It made me feel better when you said being in this season isn’t sustainable long term for 99% of the people. I want to be lean and shredded, but then the pressure of thinking how I was going to stay there. It’s like you gave me permission to not be shredded 100% of the time!
  • kbryant3
    Non-caloric sweeteners
Love the info about the sweet taste from non caloric sweeteners dampening the stress response just as well as sugar. Also love the info about ALL of the factors that go into getting ‘shredded’, not just nutrition and exercise!
