Great!

I don’t ever really leave reviews but I feel like I have to because of how much I love this podcast. I used to listen to Viall Files for all things Bachelor but now that they have switched formats in the recent years, it has become almost unbearable. In my search, I have found many other Bachelor recap podcasts, but none of them provide the psychoanalysis that I yearn for. (Maybe I’m the problem). I’m not sure how I stumbled upon Dear Shandy but I’m so glad I did. Sharleen and Andy have a wonderful dynamic. You can tell they have a great relationship in real life. They are very witty, I often find myself laughing out loud. There is the perfect balance of recap and analysis and it is obvious that they put a lot of preparation into the show.

AGREE! The dress was too much. Very distracting. And might I say, it was because of the swirly plunge. A little ill fitting. I didn’t want to see that much of her cleavage. And I’m allowed to say it because I am 64 years old and so I can relate without judgement. Lol. She didn’t need it. Love your podcast. Listen every week.

I absolutely LOVE this podcast! Andy and Sharleen are excellent hosts and always have great insights. Me and my fiancé listen weekly and we especially love their golden bachelorette episodes. My only request is - can y’all please address how Chock looks and sounds JUST like George Bush?!? Both George H.W. and George W. Do y'all see the resemblance? This is great tangent material!

I never bother to write reviews, but everyone should know about this six-star podcast. Sharleen and Andy's chemistry and banter with each other is incredible, and they offer such nuanced, genuinely clever advice to any question asked. The balance of their two perspectives is what really makes the podcast shine, from relationship advice to Bachelor recaps. Even if the topic isn't directly applicable to your life, they drop some fantastic truths about dating and relationships that anyone can relate to. If that isn't enough for you, tune in for their great sense of humor and carefully considered honesty / tough love. Their Bach recaps are a hilarious combination of Sharleen's measured insider perspective and Andy's bemused, loving critiques of the show. It's also so wonderful to listen to a podcast hosted by a couple whose relationship audibly brims with both laughter and a deep respect for each other's opinions! I'm a huge fan of both Sharleen and Andy and all the work they put into this. I listen in my car, at home, or walking around the city, and look forward to every new episode.

Been a loyal Shandy since the pandemic days! The excitement I feel every time I’m notified of a new Dear Shandy episode is greater than when I’m literally eating a donut and I LOVE donuts!!! Sharleen and Andy are not only hilarious but also so insightful and give the best advice and recaps. They were meant to be podcasters and I appreciate all the hard work that goes into crafting each high quality episode on top of being an incredible opera singer and mystery day job holder. P.S. Gotta stay to the end to see whose lap Ruby chooses!!

Relatively new listener. I’m so glad I found Dear Shandy. My new go-to for Bachelor recaps. Q&A episodes are entertaining. I love it all. I re-listen to so many episodes so I can share the laughs with my husband.

I love this couple! Andy’s tangents and Sharlene’s laugh are irresistible. I am amazed at how long Sharlene can sit in the lotus position. Google tells me the record set recently is 2 hours 21 minutes. I have a feeling if she wanted to, she could break it. 🧘🏻‍♂️

That last recap on hometowns, with the last “my wifeeeee” at the end, had me cracking up so hard. We appreciate all rants and songs always!

Funny, insightful, humane. I cannot say enough good things about Dear Shandy. Aside from being very entertaining, Sharleen and Andy are, plain and simple, class acts.

This is hands down my favorite podcast. In the last golden bachelorette recap episode, I was very sad to hear that someone left a bad review because they didn’t like Andy?! That is absolutely shocking to me and I 100% disagree. Andy is a wealth of information and brings a unique flavor to the podcast that truly sets it apart. His insights paired with Sharleen’s storytelling skills and attention to detail for each episode makes it engaging and refreshing, unlike anything else out there. They’re an amazing pair and honestly, if they weren’t famous, my husband and I would be good friends with them. Love this podcast!

I use to listen to all of the bachelor podcasts, but as I’ve gotten older/had more babies/work has gotten so much busier, I have dwindled my podcast priorities down to only two a week. This this is one of them! If I ever have to go to one…. Dear Shandy it is!

Sharleen and Andy are an absolute delight to listen to each week. They are an intelligent, compassionate, couple with undeniable, electric chemistry and this podcast gives me the warm, cozy feeling of listening to friends sitting in their living room dishing out relationship wisdom gold nuggets. They are fair, respectful hosts to their guests and I love the variety of episodes. I have favorites from all their episode categories - from the Love Fests and expert interviews to the q&as and recaps. This podcast deserves much greater success. I’ve been a follower since Day 1 (on the edge of my seat for the first episode to release from when Sharleen announced this new venture!) I hope to continue to hear from Andy and Sharleen for years. Without spoiling, WHEN are the people on these reality shows going to LEARN that their gross and despicable lies will be exposed and it’ll be alllllll over the world that they are complete snakes. I absolutely can’t imagine that I would ever end up pulling for Nick and Hannah but I’ll be damned if I’m not!! Their families are lovely. They as a couple have some rough spots but Nick is really gentle and Hannah has her kind moments. If she’d get off her high horse and be normal, they’d be great. Support from both families is huge. And then there’s the Alex apt which is uninhabitable. I can no longer watch LIB. It’s too disturbing and always disappointing so I’ll only listen to a few related podcasts like yours and Love is Kimes. No one needs to watch the shows anyway because the recaps are so good.

I came for the recaps then stayed for the Q&As, the special guests, the love fests, it’s all so good! I only watch on YouTube but leaving a review because I want to help the podcast grow.

If you have never listened, I guarantee tuning in will make you smile, and you will gain some nuggets of wisdom about life and relationships.

This is always my first choice for bachelor / bachelorette recaps! I love Sharleen & Andy’s banter and balanced take on things. They’re hilarious - I’m always literally laughing out loud during this pod! Also I always play it where my husband can hear bc I think it’s so good that just MAYBE it’ll finally drag him into bachelor world!!! (The pit😉)

I just started listening to Dear Shandy (thanks to a recommendation from Claire and Emma’s Love to See It podcast) and I am HOOKED. I have been binge-ing old recap episodes from Jenn’s bachelorette season and loving the current Golden Bachelorette recaps. Sharleen and Andy have such an easy, warm, and hilarious dynamic. My favorite is when Andy makes one of his dry, deadpan jokes and Sharleen cracks up laughing. I haven’t even listened to their non-bachelorette content yet but I’m sure I’ll enjoy it. They are my comfort food podcast and I feel like they’re my friends already. So glad I found them.

I especially appreciate Andy’s POV because I’m closer to his age, and I love their dynamics. I’ve been here with you…from Panda days. Never miss an episode. I have no idea when Andy is in a mood. He seems to rise to the occasion. Even the commercials are way better than any other podcasts. I actually listen to them. Y’all should be working on Madison Avenue…seriously…but never give this podcast up! So glad to hear Sharleen loves it.

I have been a loyal Shandy since the beginning. My husband and I have watched the bachelor since the first season and he would watch begrudgingly, like any good partner does. Since this pod, it's become so much more fun for us. We look forward to the recap more than the show itself now. The pod walks the line between actually analyzing the show and making fun of it perfectly. Sometimes you have to do both because let's be real, it can be really ridiculous! I am also obsessed with Q&A episodes, I love their takes. As we are a couple in our 40s, we also feel a certain kinship to this duo. We can relate to the funny stories of a couple that's been together for a while, and also watching contestants on the show that are half your age! It's the best, don't ever stop making the pod because it's seriously such a bright light in my week!

This is by far my favorite podcast and highly recommend to everyone! I appreciate the variety of topics covered in episodes, and how much thought is put into the content. I find that I have both laughed out loud (embarrassingly) and sat quietly thinking more about serious points. I even volunteer to drive for the shared morning commute with my husband so I get listening pick when new episodes drop.

I have never written and will likely never again write a podcast review. But for Shandy I will pick up my figurative pen. You are a lovely, smart, kind, funny, couple with whom I would love to spend real time. I am a busy working mom with young kids… my commutes are my time, and I choose to spend it with you two! I continue to watch The Bachelor, but after years, it has now become the pre-reading assignment for my favorite seminar, “Dear Shandy”! Keep doing what you do, and maybe one day I’ll run into you in Seattle!

LOVE Sharleen and Andy! Can’t help but notice how much care and effort goes into episode prep, but at the same time, how effortlessly well-executed it ends up being each and every time! The banter, the honesty, the astute observations, the humor, and best of all Sharleen and Andy’s individual personalities, AND Shandy as a unit’s unique perspective is truly unmatched.

I am a listener from early on and have loved them - both separately and for their dynamic as a couple. The opposite is true when Andy sings his little songs. The sung ads are especially painful. It diminishes him and robs him of dignity when Sharleen eggs him on with weird off-tune harmonies. I keep coming back for the wit and clear thinking. But please restore Andy’s dignity and ditch the ditties.

I've been watching The Bachelor/ette for years and years, and consider myself to be an expert. Dear Shandy is hands down the best podcast in the game. It has it all: humor, honesty, grace, fashUN, RUBY, and first hand perspectives since the magnificent Sharleen was a past contestant. She and her wonderful husband and co-host, Andy, have me laughing, almost to tears, at times. They are an endearing duo, to say the least. I look forward to all of their recaps each week, and love when they dabble in other shows, too. Give them a listen-you'll thank me!

I could listen to Shandy analyze every situation ever. I laugh out loud in sync with Sharleen when Andy says the darnedest things. I’ve considered making up a story just to have a reason to meet them and do Shandy’s Privates, but I won’t. Yes, this is a Bachelor after show, but it is so so so much more. It’s edutainment at its finest. And the cherry on top is how musical it is. Thank you Shandy for your beautiful contribution to the world. You bring joy to my life every time I listen.
