Love the analysis from Matt. Peacock way too slanted
Followed Matt for a long time and always appreciate his insights. He does a great job of being realistic and not too homerish with the Steelers. Peacock is thoughtful and reasonable except when it’s talking about the NFC West. It is so hard to listen to what he’s saying holding the 49ers like they’ve done something this century and constantly acting like every other NFCW team as lower class. He talks in absolutes despite having the same info as anyone else on Twitter

    Bonus episodes
Unsubscribed due to the constant advertising within the feed labeled as “Bonus episode”. I don’t want you forcing other shows into my feed

Over listening to Locked on 49ers
Williamson you got to take back control of this show, WAY to49ers focused

I’m about to unsubscribe out of irritation
It’s not the 49ers or Steelers talk, I don’t mind that. It’s the ads. They”re already bad enough - I literally skip 25% of every episode because of the ads - but now you’re spamming my podcast feed with locked on sports? If I wanted that show in my feed, I’d subscribe to that show so I could have it in my feed. It comes off as a ploy to inflate download stats. Stop it, please.

    Solid Podcast
One request. Matt needs to stop saying “Matt always brings it back to the Steelers” before being it back to the Steelers. Just make your point, people already know your going to relate to your respective teams. But hearing that 100+ times has becoming annoying. Again… GOOD pod though 🙌🏼

    Arrogance
Wow! Matt is realistic about his team. Peacock is ARROGANT about his. I don’t recall the Steelers losing 3 in a row yet this year. Two teams are 5-3…..

    Stop talking about the Steelers
Williamson…we get it….you cover the Steelers….you guys do a good job but stop relating everything back to the Steelers. No one cares except Steelers fans. Be more national.

    Not for 12s
Don’t waste your time with this show if you expect them to show the same level of work ethic with diagnosing anything Seahawks related as they do with say…the lions or Texans. They spent 3 shows talking about the week one games and gave literally 30 seconds to talking about the Seahawks broncos game. And if you do listen it will be the same lazy reporting that concerns anything for the Pacific Northwest. I’ve yet to hear them name a coordinator on the Seahawks. Meanwhile they’ll name the coordinator’s grandma’s dog for the Packers or other these other teams. Simply put…go elsewhere if you want any substantive analysis of the Seahawks.

    Awesome podcast
I have a question if the Seahawks have baker as qb and Dk here too andwith the nfc sadly worse then the afc do you think the Seahawks could make the playoffs

    Great podcast!
I love listening to these guys. Fantastic coverage of the game that I love. Matt does show a little homerizm, but really…don’t we all? Other than that, Matt is AWESOME! It’s BONKERS how he is able convey his knowledge, from his days of being an NFL scout, to this podcast. He knows what he’s talking about when he talks about the COUSINS’, and the GAROPPOLOS’, and the ROETHLISBERGERS’ and the LAMARS, etc of the league. 100% LOL I poke a little fun of Matt because things that he constantly says really stand out. Matt is great though. Brian is great too! I have listened to him since his days back with Murph and Mac. I love his point of view on most things. He’s one of the best that there is.

They Need to Format the Show Better
Something I have noticed this year with the podcast is they seem to run out of time a lot and always have to push things they want to talk about to a different day. For example, they have now put the football recaps to two days a week, and the football reviews to two days a week. There is no time for audience mailbags and they don't really bring on any guests. Compare that to last year where on Monday they did the recaps, Tuesday was Twitter questions, Wednesday was the midweek report card, Thursday was sports betting, and Friday was the football preview. I think they need to plan the show better and if they have a time limit, work in the confines of that time. Also, they are doing more fantasy stuff this year than last. The Locked on Network has a show for fantasy, and Matt hosts a show for dynasty talk. They don't need to talk about any fantasy on this show. I'll keep listening because I do like the show and the hosts, but I think a format change should be considered.

    Best Daily NFL Podcast
Wasn’t entirely sure what Locked On was doing when then separated you guys off from Locked On NFL, but I have absolutely come around to the vision! Originally we started with Williams being the subject matter expert and BP being the broadcasting polish. Since the new iteration of the show, BP has shown out for his low key elite football IQ, and conversely Williams has shown more polish! Much improved all around from what was originally a very intelligent NFL podcast to something I would listen to over all of the big name broadcasters (ESPN, NFL Network, Etc). And that’s coming from a Chief fan, a team who’s particularly areas of excellence, you all seem bored with! 🤣. But I don’t begrudge you that! I’ll keep listening. You have made all the late night kitchen cleaning session (when the kids finally fall asleep) so much more tenable. Thank you!

Oops, not a steeler so don’t matter
If you arnt a steeler, or 49er, you don’t matter So much disrespect

Good analysis, but too much fantasy talk for me
I’ve been following Matt’s work for years and have always enjoyed his analysis. Brian is a great cohost partner for him and the two have a very natural, easy conversational style full of solid analysis. My only complaint is they spend way too much time discussing their fantasy teams, and the time spent on this versus actual football seems to increase each season.

    Love Pea-Crock
You guys are great appreciate both of you.

    Great Hosts, Incessant Advertisements
Brian Peacock and Matt Williamson do a great job, and their analysis is top notch, but the Locked On "power" is its constant, non-stop advertisements. I get it, we all need to make money, but this is like listening to AM talk radio again. The number of ads really cheapens the show, in my mind. ;-(

    Peacuck is soft
I disagreed with the host on twitter and he blocked me. These guys are so cliche it’s pathetic.

    First stop for NFL news
Being a fan of the entire NFL, I used to try to listen to all the different Locked On episodes, but found I never had enough time to get through it all. My new strategy is to listen to this league-wide overview first, and then drill down to specific team episodes for the news items that really grab my interest. The addition of this show has helped me to better enjoy the entire network by giving me a tool to make my listening more efficient. And the guys are GREAT hosts who really work well together.

    Music
The bumper music is so bad it is actually painful. Somebody at this outfit thinks he can write music.

    Great podcast
Love listening to these guys. Peacock is even better on locked on 49ers
  • kcnoise
Do you guys watch the Chiefs?
It’s hard to cover 32 teams but your analysis of the Chiefs has been bad lol year.

    Mdub is the best!
Been a long time listener since back in the espn pod Vader days, followed Williamson around and always enjoy his podcasts. Great to see the success of his show and Brian as the co-host, wish the pods were longer!
  • dconblitz
Williamson is one of the most underrated football analysist ever
Williamson, Ro-Flo, and 3D Daniel Dopp was my first Pod. Williamson has been one of my first sources of NFL news for a long time and his insight is underrated. Brad Peacock is there too😁

    Best NFL podcast around
While I miss the production quality Matt had when he was a member of the ESPN football today podcast, the content has only gotten better. And Brian is a great co-host that pairs perfectly with Matt. If there’s anything I can say to improve on, it’s the guests. I miss some of the frequent guests from the 2019 season (football experts).

    Best Overall NFL Podcast
I’ve been a regular listener for awhile (loved these guys on the Locked on NFL pod, same here), finally leaving a review as I just switched to Apple pods from Spotify (which doesn’t have reviews/ratings). I don’t have a mailbag question, just wanted to leave a glowing review. I’m a trucker and need lots of listening content on a daily basis as I consistently work 12-14 hour days. Pods have been great, and this pod is one of my favorites for sure. As a die hard Chiefs fan I get my fair share of Chiefs-specific pods (including the Locked on Chiefs show with Ryan Tracy and Chris Clark), and this show is a great way to follow what’s going on across the NFL. I love the analysis and opinions these guys provide, as well as the entertainment value. Also love their level of professionalism and generally limited bias (example: Peacock, who’s a 49ers fan, didn’t bring any Chiefs hate to the show after SB LIV). They’re just good dudes who do a great job covering the NFL! This show is highly informative and valuable, and I love it! Keep up the fantastic work, gentlemen!

    Peacock/Williamson > Locked On NFL
No offense to the Locked On NFL Podcast, but I don’t care to listen to it anymore. I just want an hour or more of Peacock/Williamson. They are the show worth listening to. Peacock is the perfect host, Williamson is the perfect insight man. While there are more 49er & Steelers takes than I’d care for, the utilize their knowledge of their own teams to give insight for the rest of the NFL, which is very well done. Honestly, one of the best podcasts I listen to. 10/10 no doubt.

    Elite team and great analysis
This is the only NFL podcast you need, if you want to keep it simple and fun. I’ve been a long time Matt Williamson listener, he always brings real analysis and NFL game / roster nuggets. Brian Peacock has been a great host and together they are an elite team. Over the years I have appreciated how Matt has kept it fresh, keeps up with the changes in the game, connects with the audience and he also has an appropriate perspective into all aspects of modern NFL both inside and outside the locker room. Brain Peacock does a great job bringing in relevant questions and keeps a very close ear to the ground about everything happening in the League. I appreciate how these guys look at the League, overall they are also pretty level-headed and work well together. One thing that also stands out is how comfortable they are actually being open about what they think and any issue that comes up they seem to provide a real and genuine take. Keep it up guys, elite level work.

    Big fan
Have listened to M-Dub for a long time, always a great listen. His chemistry with Peacock is Elite (unlike Flacco). Well produced show and it doesn’t have any of the nonsense you find other places. Keep it up fellas and looking forward to the Locked on Dynasty Pod!

    Get rid of peacock
Why is it called peacock and Williamson show when Williamson is the show and peacock is lucky to be allowed on Williamson’s show. Peacock has no credibility-just a fan. Give Williamson top billing. I don’t need to hear peacock because he is only 49er focused. He doesn’t have any insight other than as a fan of 49ers. This is a nfl show, not 49er fan show.
  • Frankie D 7000
    Great Show.
Great show! I highly recommend the show as Brian and Matt bring knowledge from studying tape and prospects that the regular fan would never have time to do on their own. Matt brings along his scouting experience which makes a nice compliment to Brian’s knowledge and ability. Enjoy!
  • Japansen
    You will know it all
Matt is simply the best analyst in football, hands down. I’ve been listening to him for at least 15 years, and he’s never led me astray. He has deep knowledge and a down to earth way to share it. He’s humble and recognizes his tendencies and shortcomings. He’s funny and friendly. I can’t imagine watching football without Matt. Peacock? Yeah he’s ok too. ;)

    New Pod, Same Great Information
Peacock and Williamson are vets of NFL podcasting. This pod is new, but the hosts are seasoned vets who deliver the goods.

    Legen DARY
Brian and Matt are legen-dary. They break the mold of sports radio shouting heads and offer a premier product. I’ve been listening for almost 2 years and I’ll keep on listening as long as they keep making episodes.

I have been listening to M dub since the Pod Vader days when they were among the first people doing such things. I now have about 20 or 30 podcasts on my phone but this one is a can’t miss.
