Wow! I have finally found my people. Jeff and Gabe take a subject which some “serious” photographers frowned upon and make it cool. And plus, they are not snobs toward anyone particular brand. This entertaining podcast is a must for anyone who enjoys the experience of photography with all the different tools available. Definitely one of my favorites.

Jeff & Gabe are so entertaining and relatable as photographers and passionate camera collectors. Their relaxed, conversational style is wonderful; each episode flies by. If you love cameras, this show can’t be missed.

I was an occasional listener of Sunny 16 but voracious for the I Dream of Cameras spinoff. The conversation about camera collecting in L.A. in the last decades parallels my own. Poring through back issues of Pop Photography for the original reviews, etc. So much more knowledgeable than the Gen Z camera YouTubers who are just coming upon the scene!

Building on all of the great ingredients of the Sunny 16 Podcast, this new feed explores various analog photography and photography-adjacent topics. Segmented episodes include interviews with film photographers who are notable in the community and others flying below the radar, movies of note and how they may impact and inspire photography, talk of experimentation and technique and listener submitted audio dairies of their experiences with analog photography. A very nice mix of content from passionate film photographers.
