DaddyKnowsBestReviewsCreepy placesHey that creepy places was a lazy attempt at an episode. Gunna be gone for a few weeks and come back with that? Nice try.
-
leslie_willHard passIf you enjoy loud, obnoxious background music and sound effects, improper subject/verb agreement, poor grammar, mispronunciations, factual errors, sensationalism, gratuitous descriptions, juvenile writing, incessant editorializing, and glorifying murderers, this is the pod for you.

EdmundsRachael92LOVE THIS PODCAST!Hands down BEST true crime/murder podcast I’ve ever heard! They have such soothing voices, it just draws you in! Love everything about this podcast!
-
JordanelliceTHE BEST EVERTHE BEST murder podcast I’ve ever listen to! They really know how to tell & story & keep me invested! I’ve recommended so many people this podcast. 10000/10

bfullmMy Favorite True Crime PodcastI am a huge fan of true crime, so I was pleasantly surprised when I came across Murder in America. I enjoy the stories that are shared, not to mention the storytelling & sound effects that are phenomenal. I love the way the hosts tell these stories - unlike the cringy hosts of Crime Junkie. 5/5 stars!

CAinOHGood show. Could be great!Detailed coverage of very dark material. Kudos on that. But having said that, I’d advise skipping the epic soundtrack music. Listeners don’t need the story of the Luby’s massacre set to what sounds like music from a Lucasfilm production. It is a tad disrespectful to the very real victims, and just not needed. But, again, overall a good job.

Stranger catThe bestThis is by far the best true crime podcast out there. This is the only show that I had to turn off because the subject matter was so disturbing. They do not gloss over the uncomfortable parts, give “trigger warnings” (eye roll) or censor the raw human depravity like others do. Their calm storytelling, sound clips, brutal truth, and sound effects make it a fully immersive listening experience. It’s not for everyone but it is definitely for me.
-
a2willieGrim Reaper episodeMy very first time listening to this podcast. An entertaining show…but right off the bat in this episode, they said Detroit is in “Northern Michigan.” Michigan is a northern State, but Detroit is NOT in Northern Michigan…it is in SOUTHEAST Michigan. It bothers me when research isn’t what it should be!
-
tml43AwesomeSuperb along with human monsters, my podcasts collection is complete. Colin has Conspiracy Files and I occasionally listen to the haunting podcast as well. No I have to rant, if you are not satisfied with Courtney and Colin why continue to listen to the podcast. Myself and millions of others love ❤️ this podcast. So stop being jealous of their success back off.
-
jamesavery1Good storiesGood crime podcast overall, my only complaint is I think the hosts repeat themselves too much! Otherwise the storytelling is good and I think the hosts balance each other well

193739402729495New favorite!Love everything about this podcast, the information is clearly and factually told in such a beautiful way to honor the victims and tell their stories.

-
Hkhm07Listen every week! The best storytellers out there! I listen every week and tell all my friends about this show! Please tell the story of Oliver Crook Haugh, you guys will do it right.
-
GLikestoKnitJustice for April HoltMy heart goes out to April Holt’s family. It was devastating listening to these buffoons with no knowledge of the law taint evidence in the name of a podcast. I hope the hosts educate themselves in order to avoid devastating instances like this again.

Edina the HungarianBEST true crime podcastI listen to a few true crime podcasts and love them all but you guys are top notch in this genre!! You two work very well together and give us the listeners an amazing view/understanding of each crime you talk about i especially like that yall also include news reports, voice recordings with people that are involved and such! Keep up the great work 👏
-
Fungi fungusLast podcastColin’s acting skills are horrible!! Just stop 😂😂😂😂

Karaski24Paranormal stuff is annoying**** Do you guys even listen to your episodes before releasing them? Horrible editing on almost every single episode. Please outsource this to professionals. I started listening to the old podcasts and all of the paranormal talk at the end of every single episode is annoying, but still very good podcasts with lots of effort put in to them. I would listen to dedicated paranormal podcasts if they ever put them out.
-
tmlbaskPhenomenalOne of my favs. So much care and detail go into each story.
-
manifestati0nmamiKeep up the great work guys!I really enjoy the show, it’s one of the most respectable shows I’ve listened to.
-
Phone ☎️Murder in AmericaI love the way you tell the stories and all the research you do. Keep up the good work Courtney and Colin 👍

DEA1515Love the podcastI love the way you tell the stories. I have told many friends to listen to Murder in America. Love the show!
-
KaypaintBackground musicI’m a huge fan of the show! I tune in every week however the past two weeks have been very hard to listen too. The background music is so loud it drowned out your guys voice and is extremely distracting. I tried for so long to finish episode 180 but I kept having to restart because I was getting so distracted by the music. I truly believe the sound effects and background music is what makes the show so good but I just recommend turning it down one or two notches so it doesn’t drown out your voices
-
Jpnjol04Enjoy but some minor errorsI love the podcast and all the details! I love that you are doing podcasts of cases that aren’t as common. Episode 163 was so interesting! I have noticed some minor errors… like Guam being referred to as another country when it is a territory of the US (ep 159) and mentioning that Britney’s voicemail is full in episode 166 but playing the recording from a number that has been disconnected (which is different than someone’s voicemail being full).
-
AdnamayakBackground musicI love the show but do we really need background music throughout & does it have to be so loud? It’s very distracting. Great, now I sound like an old person.
-
PugjenFavorite podcast !!Thank you so much for making good episodes all the time very detailed very well explained very captivating. Love the long episodes get me through the day !! Definitely recommending !!
-
BrianneEanneShow is so informative!!!I love listening to these while I work! I can’t get service at my job and these help my day go by so much more faster. These are so informative and they go into detail so well. I can picture everything they’re saying as they’re speaking. I definitely recommend this podcast to everyone I speak to. 5/5 for sure! And for the people rating it lower stars, they’re literally complaining about nothing. They’re the people that are trying to find any little thing wrong with something. So ignore them 😁 lol
-
Galilea2424Best podcast everI’ve heard a few other podcasts but honestly nothing like Murder In America, all their shows are amazing. I love how they narrate the stories and all the research they do. Guys keep up the good work! My number one to go podcast!
-
tarynnapInformative & HistoricalI love listening to these two! Not only are their voices captivating, but they deliver such wonderful details to the events, going way back to family lineages. I don’t know how or where they obtain it, but kudos for giving us such great stories. I even watched a movie they recommended on a story they did, and liked their podcast much better. Thank you for all your hard work C&C, it’s much appreciated!
-
Sunshine6133It’s okThe stories are obviously tragic and some aren’t well known which I appreciate. My issue with the hosts are when they go on tangents about themselves and give personal opinions. Courtney’s reading is sometimes frustrating because she pauses in the middle of a sentence when she shouldn’t then continues. A little more professionalism would be great.
-
Livingdeth10/31Hope you read this! 💚This is by far my favorite podcast ever. I love the new stories and can get enough, although the sadness that I only have like 12 or so episodes is creeping in. My favorite and in my opinion most twisted case covered, is Ed Gein (EP: 26). I love Courtney and Collin ‘s voice, they’re definitely a power couple. Hope you two read this and know I’ve been a super fan of your work, honestly, every time my parents see me they see the headphones in they know I’m listening to this. Have a good day. Wish I could be patron. 💚

markotrapojSolid but pushing it with ads, plugs & musicThe last episode “Dear Zachary” was nearly impossible for me to stay focused because of all the obnoxious music/effects in the background. They had a great mix going for a while, but this ep is just overproduced. Tone down all the music! You guys are good enough to not need it! Way way way too overproduced. And it seems like we only get 90 seconds of story before being interrupted by some sort of plug for a different show or an ad. Not sure what you can do there but maybe try grouping the ads again. Thanks.
-
KaiiruecheLove you guys ❤️I’ve been listening to you all for years. I love the growth and the detail you put in every episode. I hate that im all caught up but I anticipate listening to you all as soon as you drop. At the rate you guys are going, you definitely need your own true crime show. A big fan and dedicated to give you a listen everytime. ❤️

Ana Savana5 star podcastIf you want to hear a real murder podcast , the good , the bad and the ugly this is one of the realest ! Thankfully they use trigger warnings! I do love the way you two tell the stories though. Thanks for all your hard work in sharing these stories and people can see how off and crazy some evil awful people can be ! Great warning to be mindful of who we let into our lives!
-
It’s me, DeeWow! Just WOW!Without a doubt; hands down the very best true crime podcast I’ve ever listened to! Extremely well written, researched and presented. I thought I knew every great TC pod out there and boy was I wrong! This podcast is simply the BEST! The hosts present each episode in an informative, sensitive and engaging format.

-
Lewis LynneProper EnglishI do enjoy this podcast, but once I hear Courtney repeatedly say “me and Colin”, that’s all I can think about. Please try to use proper English throughout the podcasts!
-
True-crime fanaticMy favorite podcast! This is my all time favorite podcast! No 10 min beginning where they talk about themselves like other podcasts I’ve listened to. They jump write into the case! The sound effects and the times when Collin or Courtney will talk as the killer if they’d written something just emerges you right into it. The sympathy they have is amazing and the way they lay everything out makes it easy to follow along. This is my all time favorite podcast and I’ve listened to every episode! If I had the money I would subscribe to their patreon. This is the first show I put on when I have to clean my house.
-
m3owwgood butwhen you interview people could you please say what they said in your guys voice, cause holy sht it was literally so hard trying to listen to the girl you guys interviewed talk in ep 3 tennessee bro
-
guiktarSurprisingAlthough this is a good podcast that has been around for a while I still find it surprising that Courtney in particular tends to mispronounce names A LOT lol throughout some episodes she’ll pronounce the names correctly and then will completely butcher them. Don’t know if it’s a proofreading situation they need to fix or just pay attention more closely but definitely keep that in mind.
