    Question
Did the Constitution’s authors prescribe a legitimate way for American Citizens to petition or force an interim election or “show of faith” ? If they didn’t because they thought the separation of the 3 estates insured well meaning elected leaders, is all we have is impeachment proceedings? I picture Sisyphus struggling with the boulder

    Even Better in the ReSisTance
I always found your podcast informative, but sometimes felt frustrated as I felt you were too “measured” in your responses to the craziness of Judge Cannon and the lawless decisions of the Supreme Court. But now that Trump tyranny is here and it’s real, I feel that you have stepped up to meet the moment. Keep inspiring us with truth and calls to action. Thank you.

    LGBTQIA ignorance
Queer people are under attack in this country and the Sisters coverage is unacceptably ignorant. Their reports on trans legal issues are riddled with common misconceptions that shows how little care and understanding they have for the community. For instance, they use dated language (gender “confirmation” and “transsexual”) and said that only trans folks seek gender affirming care when in fact cis people use more gender affirming surgeries and hormone treatments than trans people. Literally cannot listen to them anymore.

    Keeping In The Know
There’s so much political drama and side stepping of what’s really going on that comes directly from POTUS and his minions. I wish these girls were on daily as their ability to help me easily understand why things are happening the way they are is phenomenal. I believe, to make and see change, we all need to know how politics work and everyone in this podcast, has the experience, knowledge and education to help me understand political changes. I know you would love them and become a devoted listener just like me. Thanks for all you do.

    It’s Become a Staple
My Saturday mornings are dog walking while listening to the latest show. It’s become a routine in my life. I appreciate their analysis of the intersection of politics and law. I find them all to be well researched and objective, Barb being the most objective in my opinion. The balance of perspective among the four is perfect and thought provoking. Thank you.

    Thank you
I am extremely grateful for your counsel on the legalities of what Donald Trump is trying to do to our country. I appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge with all of us.

    Always Interesting and Upbeat
I look forward to my weekly listen to this great podcast. I love the intersection of everyday life and brilliant legal knowledge. No question is beyond them. Knowledge is power in this political climate. Keep up the good work.

    Gratitude
I feel grateful to have your wise counsel every Saturday, especially during these dark and disturbing days. Understanding the law is imperative. Thank you to all, for this podcast.

    Love this show!
This is one of our favorite podcasts. My spouse and I listen to it over breakfast every weekend. Neither of us are lawyers but it is fascinating to hear the sisters in law explain current events thru a legal prism in a way that is both interesting and accessible, especially now when our democracy is threatened and so many of us feel that we are “out on a ledge”!

Lack of support for Mahmoud Khalil
Really disappointed in the podcast’s coverage about Israel’s attack on Gaza. The most recent episode about Mahmoud Khalil reinforced their lack of courage to stand up for Palestinians’ human’s rights. To admonish Khalil’s speech rather than highlight his bravery is appalling.

    The Pod Over All
I really can’t say enough about this incredible group of professional brilliant women who know the law and speak the truth. I’ve been a fan for as long as the pod started and prior to when listening to their analysis on news outlets. Given alllll that has happened since 2016 I feel I’ve completed at least the 1st yr of law school. I appreciate the analysis and insight into the nonstop vortex of criminality. You ladies represent the best that the law has to offer. Thanks for being there out on my ledge.

    Brilliant, Fun Pidcast
Love this show! Not only do we get brilliant analysis, we have some fun and get to know these incredible women on a personal basis.

Insight you won’t get anywhere else
The sisters in law explain the law in depth yet easy to understand explanations. The are fearless supporters of truth, democracy and the rule of law. And, it’s refreshing not to be inundated with over the top bro energy of so many podcasts.

    Lifesaving!
I so appreciate the curated topics of importance that are discussed. When such a large volume of changes are being pushed, this has been life-saving (and calming) for me to step back, take it all in and figure out action steps to take. My one question is, can you do this every day?🙂. Keep going you are all so needed.

    Opinions from Experts
The hosts are all very experienced government attorneys. They know the Law and they know how the Courts work. They know Department of Justice procedures, rules and protocol. Yes, they are biased; they are biased in favor of the Rule of Law. When you listen, you’re likely to think they are biased against Trump, but that’s not so. They do not oppose Trump or his policies. They only oppose him when he breaks the law, exceeds his Constitutional authority, or attacks the people and institutions that keep us safe. Listen and Learn if you want the Great Experiment of America to succeed.

Thank you all for the wealth of information as we are bombarded more than ever with lies & corrupt actions toward our government. Wanted to share 5calls.org As a way to reach correct Congress members and senators. It gives information & script for calls made about so many of the issues discussed on your podcast.

    Love you ladies, but
You’re still talking about the law and rules and compliance in relation to Trump and Musk. It’s laughable. The plan is to keep Dems busy flooding the courts while Trump rapes the country. Today we learn that Trump has paused Black history month activities. - during February and a day away from the Super Bowl to show the world and especially all the black NFL that they need to know their place. Welcome to Apartheid USA.

    Food vs Facts
I love this podcast and all of the great legal advice and information from these 4 brilliant legal minds. I just wish that food/advertising suggestions made would be Vegan and not highlight eating some version of a murdered animal In the latest podcast it was hot dogs and I am pretty sure they were not referring to one of the delicious and cruelty-free versions! Thanks for all that you do, Kimberly, Jill, Joyce and Barbara! Sheila G Montara, Ca

    I love this show!
This podcast is a real treat for those who like thoughtful consideration of the law, current events, and even good reads and good shows to take in. Not being a lawyer, I’ve learned so much about how the law works, how lawyers think, and the history of the law. It’s all insightful and done with humor, detailed explanations, and clarity. The Sisters don’t always agree, but therein lies some of the best insights into how the law works (or doesn’t) in the way it does. Moreover, they take listeners’ questions with seriousness and joy. The Sisters are the best. And, as I write, one of their dogs is chiming in with his opinion in the background. So you get outside, unsolicited opinions too! What more can you ask?
  • 7cpm
    Informative!
I really enjoy listening to the Sisters In Law weekly podcast. It is so informative, explaining the ins and outs of the chaos which currently inhabits our country. The ladies give you all of the facts while putting things in easy to understand terms. They provide it all with a little humor to keep you “off the ledge.” Thank you, Ladies!
  • SydneySaysWhat
    Biased and fear mongering
I came for the legal discussion and left when they started fear mongering over Project 2025, which was just boring to listen to, rather than covering what the current administration and Congress are doing, and failed to address many relevant cases around freedom of speech such as the arrest of protestors and U.S. reps failing to abide by international law.
  • @fatarae
    Terrific new podcast!
These four amazing women discussing current events through the prism of collective decades of each of their own unique experience of the law will enhance your understanding of anything they tackle. Highly recommended. Update: I love these women! They always deliver the goods.

    Great Show today!
Ladies, you nailed it today with 2 key topics on my mind this week. Explaining clearly WHY the NY Judge ruled on the Trump Hush Money case and your discussion about the new changes with the social media platforms from Meta. Thanks .

    So many good topics
I love how they address topics and discussions on current events. The weekly podcast is a great way to summarize the week's events and the questions from listeners at the end of each episode provide thought-provoking questions that the four hosts answer. Great show.

Another career prosecutor here- because of you Jill. 25 yrs as a DA & 8 as a judge. Another North Shore Jill, but a 50 year Colorado resident now. A Must Listen
These #SistersInLaw are very intelligent and informative. They also break it up with a little fun. They are colleagues and friends. This show was highly recommended. So glad I found it! Thank you #SistersInLaw!!!!!!
  • Lake Erie Kid
Reconflagrates my fascination with the law!
(Yes, “conflagrates” is a nod to Jill’s story today. ) It’s amazing how their humor coexists so comfortably with the clarity of their explanation of complex legal topics. I learn so much each week from four women who genuinely like and respect each other. None of the interrupting and talking over each other and ham-fisted jokes that make me run from other (dare I say often more guy-dominated) podcasts. Thank you, Joyce, Barb, Jill and Kimberly! You are the gold standard!
  • Frandal
    Smart, erudite—too many ads!
These legal experts are smart, relevant and informative. However, getting tired of all the ads!
  • wdhul
Tired of all the lengthy advertisements
Several 15 second ads dispersed through a podcast is one thing, but here there are 2 and 3 minute segments of ads three and more times in an hour long podcast. The annoyance factor has become too great. No longer worth my time. Being too greedy with ads will ruin the podcast experience. Time to move on.
  • sfncar
    enough!!!
please ladies, give it a break, and us -- talk about something different so I don't want to unsubscribe. I've been here since the beginning and never felt so unhappy with you all as these last few weeks. Last week it was pound Garland, this week it's Joe. Please talk about something interesting. You're ruining my Saturday morning.

    Mostly interesting
Mostly interesting even to us non-lawyers. But golly Molly! - way too many ads and each of them way too long! Ironic in that, for lawyers, it’s the ads that are too ponderous đŸ„Ž.
  • gg7fyghg)
    Thank you!!!
I have learned so much about the law and government from the Sisters- more than I ever cared to learn but need to know as a citizen who cares about this democracy. I am 65 years old and had no idea how easy it can be to up end the rule of law until the Trump/MAGA ERA. I cannot thank you enough for the way you help us keep track of the issues from a legal perspective, but more importantly give me some hope this democracy can survive another round. We need you to keep up the fight to save our democracy!

Keep it coming, we need you
This is my favorite podcast. What’s not to love and need from four brilliant thinkers. It’s entertaining, thoughtful, researched/vetted for truth telling and even enjoyable. The enjoyable part is a sense I know that these women “got my back” and relate to so many of us. One example is when I talked about Joyce Vance to my daughter and she said, “Mom, you do know you don’t actually know Joyce, right?” I should have answered, “Well you better her”. Looking forward to the next episode for more wisdom and clarity.
