    Positive and funny
Sam and Ellie are like your cheeky UK mates who used to love to go to the pub for a pint and some Bartons Pickle, but now just go for the pickle and some lovely conversation. Listening to this podcast is like being let in on a good chat between friends, and show that being sober doesn’t mean being boring or silly. Thank you Sam and Ellie! July 2023 Path is present (and presently sober)!

    Love Present and Sober
This podcast is solid gold! I discovered it recently and it quickly became a staple I look forward to on my alcohol free journey. Today I went back to episodes 65 and 66 on expectations and intentions. Once again Sam and Ellie, in their intelligent, straightforward and humorous style have taken something I thought I knew and provided rich insight into how I can make it a habit of my heart to lead me into the life I want to live! Thank you Sam and Ellie!! Y’all hit it out of the park again!

    Great podcast!
These two are a couple of funny people. They crack me up every episode while getting their point across and being very informative. Love them as two of my coaches in the Path in ‘This Naked Mind’ that I am currently on. Great podcast. Definitely worth a listen.

    Serious just not seriously
Relatable, brilliant, creative, compassionate, hopeful, practical, deep, soulful and hilarious & back round again. They banter, waffle, and spew fountains of wisdom that spring forth from some cosmic river which, they make clear, we can all access. No shame blame game, relevant guest speakers, I could go on and on. They make sense even when they’ve gone off into nonsense. This is the stuff. This is the sauce that makes the experience and flavor of a life not drinking tolerable, interesting and full of sweet grace. A well-being well. Deep and refreshing. So grateful these two have created this podcast (can you tell?)

    Don’t change a thing !!
Sam and Ellie bring levity to each podcast! I frequently find myself laughing out loud while at the same time being informed on a subject that is often presented in a solemn way!

    Spot on!
Sam and Ellie have a way of talking each week about something that hits home to me in that time and space. They are so real and honest (and funny!) in their conversations. It makes me feel like I’m sitting down with two good friends chatting away about life. The way they they take such important topics and break them down to be applicable in real life is refreshing and very helpful. I look forward to every Tuesday now waiting for the next episode to drop. Please don’t ever stop! Much love!

Making alcohol small and irrelevant in your life
Sam and Ellie have changed my life. From first meeting them in the LAE, working with them all year on TNM and listening to this podcast, I have realized alcohol was not the problem. It was what was underneath. With their wisdom I have learned things I can never unlearn and despite a few “left turns” along the way, I have now made alcohol small and irrelevant. If you want to question your relationship with alcohol, without the shame and guilt, listen to every podcast as this is the information you need.

    Amazing Insights
I’m a huge fan of the Present and Sober podcast with Ellie Crowe and Sam Goldfinch. They are not only my favorite birds, (😂) they are brilliant guides, pointing and nudging us toward greater wisdom on a whole host of topics, not the least of which is the truth about alcohol. They are wise, relatable and warm and I look forward to every weeks guest and their stories! Brilliant podcast!

    Powerful Interviews
I am a podcast subscriber and big fan of Sam and Ellie. Today I listened to the interview w/ Susan Joy: A Sudden Rock bottom, Prison and Returning to Joy. It was powerful and intense! As a mom and former gray area drinker this really hit home. I feel like everyone who thinks they are just participating in mommy wine culture should hear her story. Thanks for sharing an important story and thank you to Susan for your bravery. I hope find a way to bring your work into the prison system for women. I think it’s so important!

    My Highest Recommendations
This show is so beautiful. I love the rapport that Sam and Ellie have and how they really breathe life into the post-alcohol experience. I love that they are talking about the beauty, possibility, and spiritual growth that comes after the drink, instead of just going without. Thanks for creating this space… on your page, in the podcast realms. You are the real deal, and I am so grateful for you.
  • Macnroe65
    Thank you!
I am so grateful for the whole “lot of you”! Your podcast is wonderful and inspiring and help us reclaim our power from the devil of alcohol. Keep on changing the world one alcohol “zombie” at a time. I’m happy to be awake and in your camp! Carry on!

    Inspiring, Insightful and Hilarious!
I could not love Present and Sober podcast more! It's like hanging out with friends, learning and chatting about how to be my best self.. and having a good laugh while doing so! As someone navigating through my recent freedom from alcohol (YAY!), I appreciate the focus on living alcohol free, but there is SO MUCH more to this podcast. Ellie and Sam offer real mindfulness techniques that are easy to put into practice. Their honest, real and vulnerable stories help open my eyes and heart to my own possibilities. I also appreciate how a podcast about something as rough as being addicted to alcohol can have me laughing out loud multiple times per episode! I only wish I knew of this podcast earlier in my journey! I am SO excited to see what they have in store for us. Thank you Ellie and Sam!

    Great new resource!
These two have walked the walk and really get it. Packed with warmth, inspiration and practical advice that goes beyond ODAAT. When Ellie talks about knowing she was destined for more and that the cycle of drinking couldn’t be all life has to offer I couldn’t relate more! Thanks guys. I’ll be listening along <3
