CwasneaCompletely Left BiasGarbage and one-sided.
-
HarpstergirlUneducated opinionHer show is largely opinion-based and lacks factual content, leaning heavily towards a Democratic, liberal perspective. Given the level of bias, it could almost be categorized as a fictional podcast.
-
wwwhizHyper-partisan, Left-Driven Rhetoric, Not NewsIncredibly left-biased and unfair show that uses rhetoric and dis-information to sway the under informed. It’s a hard pass.
-
Professor Digory KirkeExpecting much more than was delivered.Terrible. Wasn’t expecting a propaganda screed. Deceptively titled as somehow a neutral analysis.

No longer news1Used to love it, but won’t listen to it anymoreThis used to be a great way to start the day and catch up with current events. Now it’s just another one sided political news source. I’m solidly in the middle and I’m disgusted with all of the “news” media that is so biased in politics that they can’t produce anything worth listening to. Todays interview is a prime example. 30 minutes of why trump is bad. What a waste of time for anyone to listen to. it’s so one-sided you can’t believe anything that’s being said and I won’t waste my precious time allowing someone to try and brainwash me.

Mr.E2theBHit or Miss. Mostly Miss. Most of the stories covered are either there to push a left-leaning narrative or to shill for some Apple+ movie or show. Occasionally there is a good one but it’s few and far between.

Agent Bubbles 005 out of 5Listening the interviews are top notch, and understanding someone’s opinion

RDeSesaJrMy go to morning news podcastListening to Apple News has been part of my morning ritual for years. I like a daily news summary and Shumita has such a pleasant, relaxing quality to her delivery. I look forward to each episode and I think Shumita is great.
-
Dr.Raj SinghMen?Does Apple News not care about the opinion of men in their professions? Is Shumita Basu a man hater? Is her bias affecting the news we hear? Not sure why the ratio of men and women she interviews is disproportionate. Someone needs to study this.

SewSouthVery biased! It is very obvious that your views are biased. It was disturbing to listen to this as you were very negative towards Trump and more positive towards Kamala. Reporters are suppose to be unbiased but there are not that many of them around anymore, especially Apple News who are particularly biased liberals. You may get more viewers if you just reported unbiased facts. It is so disturbing that these podcasts pop up on my phone regularly and pretty much every time I attempt to listen, it’s the same one-sided garbage!

Easy HardcoreYou can tell it’s a quality show when all the negative …… reviews are in direct opposition to one another. “It’s bias and pro Israel” yet it is also “anti Israel,” it’s “biased because they let their guests say things I disagree with,” etc. That, folks, is all the proof one needs! The other reviews are either positive, or an old man who demands a woman smiles. 🤬 Shumita Basu is a titan who deserves a raise. I am a reformed journalist who knows how to navigate the news media landscape, I appreciate this show and Apple News in general. While I typically try not to say anything positive about Apple, their news product stands apart from all the other … problematic … everything else.

Babydust1974Great podcastI love the topics you discuss. Especially the effects of Trumps abortion ban has on women. And the immigrants difficult path they have to take to come to the United States to keep their families safe. I wish everyone could listen to your episodes , then maybe the republicans would change their minds about supporting so much hate and violence in our country and learn to be more compassionate towards human life.

Arakanese from AsiaRatingHost Shumita Basu presents the articles more clearly. Even non- native English can understand these podcasts. Please accept my 5-stars rating.

94MGA refreshing way to discuss important topics! There is so much hot air, nonsense, and spin in American news today. This podcast is so refreshing in that it discusses important topics without being preached to or being told how to interpret the topic. Well done!

ToneDeafRabbittTremendous biasIt’s like listening to MSNBC drivel non-stop. I say that as a Democrat for over 50 years. The bias on this show is shocking even by today’s meager journalistic standards. The interviewer and interviewees are often idealistic, Pollyanna ignoramuses. Talks on the environment give little play to views other than those discussed on the show as fact. The anti-Israel bent is clear and disappointing. In one show about the Israel-Palestinian issue, the “journalist” makes dozens of unsubstantiated claims well beyond his experience and wisdom - “a negotiated peace is the only solution.” Really? Has that worked over the last 75 years? What is his support? In another show, the guest opines about legal issues without an understanding of our federalist system. The interviewer has no sense to ask more probing questions or to challenge the guests whom she treats with reverence, not skepticism. The show is a big zero which contributes to misinformation which, in turn, causes bad policy and loss of lives.

Denise420Israel Colonizing Palestine/Gaza Episode Oct 3rd 24This dude goes “IDK how it will end” - - Uhm how about NOT attacking and taking someone else’s land. How about Israel stops all settlements. Thats the best and only case. PALESTINIANS were there first! Hamas are freedom fighters.
-
sportyspice11Biased reportingThis reporter and guests are clearly biased and all views will be pro-Israel and not based on facts. Do better.
-
mmmmmmeeeeeeeGreat podcast!I really appreciate the way Apple handles issues both on the news as well as the weekly “In Conversations”. The coverage is nuanced without being overdone.
-
LiverpoolFC#11Great showGreat show that discusses what you need to know in interesting areas that may not otherwise be covered. Wish it would be a little more politically centered though.
-
jackoakleafVery impressedIt’s refreshing and surprising how in-depth and principled this show is able to be while still operating under the Apple brand.
-
jaynuggetsThe show matches the host photo. An unimpressed woman judging the world. I guess she is an archetype of the new woman. Her countenance matches what the show is. A liberal woman’s opinion on the world. Let me save you some time what the episodes are about: Liberals = good guys. Conservatives = bad guys. Can we please get some diversity of thought! I’d give this show an extra star if the host would smile for the show photo.

YahiebksThe firstThe only way to know if the person has a good sense is to ask the question of the question of what the country is like in

-
golgikanjiDark MattertThe interviewer must have needlessly said "yeah" after each phrase of the interviewee. Annoying.
-
jafl1999One of my solid podcastsGreat option for a podcast to listen to when you’re looking to learn about other people’s experiences or raise new questions inside you

Rich Aesthetic ReviewsCharlotte Cowles is du**Why should I listen to this episode and now take advice from a person who got scammed. What she fell for is so stupid and so common sense. She really should be ashamed and stop writing a financial column.
-
Alec LeamasFive stars if you bring back Brian Stelter✨I listened to two episodes of Brian hosting, and I could not be happier with the podcast. He is a great talent, and you would be lucky to have him. Quite frankly, you can give him his own show, and I will definitely subscribe.
-
got Marie? So called experts are cluelessThese are your talking heads? Brian Stelter on to talk about what’s real and what’s fake on social media? What a joke. Do better. Fake show.
-
Axlrose81073Liberal garbageHaha what a joke. Left wing talking points over and over complete shills for the political class.
-
Rowzee1973Bias newsWell produced and good stories but very political democrat view points. Republicans are always the antagonist in the stories.

Andante'Apple News Podcast.Apple News Podcast. The WNBA episode was excellent. I’m so happy for everyone involved. It’s about time. Bravo!!!!!! Great discussion. Hit the heart.

JrbohoToo BiasedPlease consider interviewing Conservative voices. There are millions of conservatives in the US, whose viewpoints are definitely not represented by the likes of Rachel Maddow, Tom Hanks and the Dwight Schrute guy. How about interviewing eg. Megyn Kelly? Or James Woods? Or Tucker Carlson? Or Ben Shapiro? Why not?
-
JC Ooompa Loompataking a breakwhy are the last 3 episodes about sports ?

Hattie445Change the photoI love the show, and the voice of the presenter and all of the content but this photo is not consistent with who she appears to be and what the program is all about. The photo looks smug, I hope you can consider changing it.

Jon WintersApple News In ConversationI must admit I am a fan of Shumits’s calming voice. I absolutely love listening to her in all podcast or news that she hosted. Love to hear more.
-
ThaneKriosMore left-wing talking pointsChampions left-wing extremism and demonizes what is traditional. May the influence of this podcast diminish in the ears of its audience until it seeks to find a genuine balance.
-
J0W0JTurning towards faithI enjoyed the episodes discussing Rainn Wilson’s book “Soul Boom” and Elizabeth Keating’s book about interviewing family. They reminded me of the importance of turning your heart towards family and the lessons I’ve learned from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Anita - RStop the noiseBegging you on my knees to stop the electronic noise your producers call "the music bed." 1. It's not music, it's electronic jingle jangle. 2. It's not entertaining, it's noise. 3. If your content and delivery alone cannot engage your audience how is the electronic beepy-boop going to help? Just please stop it.

Downward Dog Double 69One sidedProgressive left wing echo chamber.

jenwro27aSystem failureI’m listening to this interesting conversation between two young women, one pregnant and one with a youngster as a 50 year old with teenagers. I’m enjoying it. However, I am really struck by the failure of the United States to support motherhood, and the simple fact that mothers give up their careers and also can’t even get four hours of sleep is frankly disgusting. That’s how little we value mothers. We need to compensate for the horrors of capitalism through leadership.

Happy Pinner!!Episode on Reading Wars is missing infoWhile it’s true that there is, sadly a debate going ok with reading instruction- your article/podcast was so limited and like so many others, missing information. First - do the author take the time to REALLY know what balanced literary is? Part of the balance in balanced literacy IS PHONICS. No one who UNDERSTOOD balanced literacy ever downplayed the role of phonics -that’s part of the balance!!! Next, when you talk about the George Bush NRP- and the “reading first” program you failed to mentioned the data that there was no significant improvement shown by using a phonics approved on reading outcomes. No one likes to mention this fact, that statistically phonics only programs do not equate to a one size fits all, everyone reading program! That is hidden! That’s so irresponsible on the part of the reporter! As we consider brain research, we can learn how to shift the balance and make sure our methodologies include strong phonics foundations especially at the earliest levels .but we don’t discount the other pillars needed. This issue is so so much more complex than blaming the amount of reading problems on curriculum.
