    Such great insights!
Love this podcast so much. Episodes are always thought provoking. I almost always have to rewind and listen to certain parts again to further digest and ponder. Just listened to the latest, “Which Part of the Drama Triangle Are You”, and loved learning about how the stories we each tell influence our dialogues and the roles we unconsciously assign others. Wow! Some really big aha moments for me in that conversation. Thank you for always bringing such great topics to light!

    My favorite podcast
Pulling the thread is hands down my favorite podcast out there. It’s thought provoking and inspiring. Elise explores a wide array of topics that center around spirituality, self-transformation, psychology and philosophy. I get a little dopamine hit ever week when I see that the latest episode has been dropped.

    Even at this age...
Only just finding these podcasts recently, I am eager for more thoughtful interviews with guests like Mark Nepo and Thomas Hubl. As a 64 year old woman, there is still a great deal of personal healing to be done on the road to self acceptance and compassion for others. Even at this age, I am relieved and excited for these enriching and revealing conversations which serve to prompt us to remember who we are and inspire us to lighten our hearts with hope.

    An Elegant Hero
This show is so very important. Elise is an elegant hero for women and for human beings alike. Her brutal vulnerability and curiosity and eloquence is unmatched. This show has helped me endlessly. She is a wonderful most valuable what I would say icon of modern times. I only wish she knew how seriously beautiful and elegant she is. Unmatched in my view. Thank you Elise!

    Great show, but
This host is brilliant, and yet I am driven crazy by her valley girl lilt, and tone and voice. Too many sentences and in question mark sounds; it’s possible to be expressive and dynamic without sounding like a teenager from the burbs.

I felt like I was home listening to Nicole Avant. I hope we keep this conversation open. I feel hopeful and want more of this kind of discussion. Thank you!

    Profound
I have just finished listening to your episode with Resmaa Menakem about Finding Fear in the Body for the second time. Profound information. There is no other way to describe it. Thank you for engaging so deeply. For staying in the discomfort. Helping me learn on a much deeper level.

    My favorite recent discovery
I just found this podcast and have already binged three episodes. The conversations are lively and well paced. And fascinating. Elise is a great host, you can tell she has done her research, but she clearly has great admiration and interest in her guests so it just flows. I have really enjoyed the subject matter which skips around - the guests are experts in their fields. This podcast will be keeping me company on my walks all summer long.

    Fast favorite!
This has quickly become my very favorite podcast! I’m a mom of 4, and two of my kids are severely disabled with very complex medical needs. Professionally I am a board certified behavior analyst and love everything I’ve heard and read with the amazing, bright and talented Elise Loehnen!! Thanks for giving this weary woman amazing content to think about and discuss with friends!

    Love Elise’s Brain and Guests
I don’t even remember how I found you on Substack that then led me here. But after listening to you and Jeffrey Kripal I am hooked. Just up my street

Must-Listen-Weekly! This is an A Podcast!
I wholeheartedly rate this Podcast 5+++ STARS! I have been listening to this podcast since the beginning. Not only does Elise have the best laugh ever, but she has a wonderful interview style that allows for probing questions with detailed answers from the thought leader. On nearly every episode, I have a big “ah-ha” moment or I learn something entirely new (like spiral dynamics). I also love to hearing something that I find is 100% relevant to a friend. Thus, I frequently find myself listening and immediately forwarding episodes to friends that can also benefit from the helpful insights and perspectives from her diverse guests. Thank you for producing a fabulous podcast that always keeps me engaged, inspired and yearning for more!! I also know you are a “women owned” business and in honor of WO3 day a Grassroots effort to promote and support small women-led businesses, I am writing you this testimonial today on WO3 Day to support you and your mission! (wo3connect.com or @WO3connect) P.S. I am also an avid reader of your newsletters, Substack and your NY Times Best Selling Book and so I enjoy your “voice” coming through the written word! Thank you Elise and Bravo on all your contributions to inspire and educate us all.

    The thoughtful conversations we need
I have listened to almost every episode and gained something valuable from each one. These topics are thought-provoking, life-affirming, and much-needed in our times. Thank you for your voice, heart, and intellect. Love, love, love this show!

    Nicely done on Spiral Dynamics
I had checked out other resources on this topic and couldn’t get to the essence of why this system is useful/helpful - but this episode did it for me. Nicole Churchill brings such a balanced and elegant perspective to outlining this framework and I look forward to part 2 with her.

If ten minutes in I still have to guess what the episode is supposed to be about, then you are waisting my time.
  • He who shall remain nameless
Good content but jarring use of ads
The ads really blast out of nowhere. There is no musical or auditory segue into them, not even a moment of silence and they are mixed louder than the level of the conversation. This is very off putting. Maybe it’s good to have the reminder that podcasts about spirituality are consumerist products at their core

I am a regular listener and love the show. I appreciate the intelligent, insightful and honest look at varied topics. This episode was an exception for me. In contrast to your other shows on capitalism and the patriarchy I felt both in this interview. I am an Indigenous/hispanic woman who has been fortunate to experience enoughness because of my parents, grandparents struggles. I consider myself middle class and very blessed to have enough food, shelter and necessities in life. I am not buying $30 bars of soap. I find it ironic to suggest we encourage our children to be farmers, work with their hands , certainly they would not be buying $30 bars of soap either. Small farmers in Colorado where I live, are leaving farming because they can no longer provide for their families and say they do not want that life for their children. I believe we’ve reached a time that instead of pursuing abundance and luxury we should be focusing on sustainability and how we lift up those we can help. I would spend $10-15 on soap if I knew the same amount was being donated to someone in need of hygiene items. This episode made me uncomfortable and the benefit of that is I am reminded to share in my purchases and my giving to lift others up. Thank you for your podcast.

    Mixed Bag
Elise is a master at interviewing an assortment of interesting guests, but it is also a place where Elise promotes her LA based circle of friends. Her association with people like Lacy Phillips and Zach Bush give me pause. I love her voice and the podcast is a high quality production. While I appreciate her interest in mysticism, her recent episode with Carissa Schumacher channeling Yeshua was off-putting. It was essentially a plug for her book, which ”Yeshua” endorses as a “very special book.”

    Important podcast
I’ve never reviewed a podcast before, but I’ve also never heard one as smart, real and as important to me as this one. It’s hard for me to even understand how they get this much depth of information packaged up each week. Thank you to all who make this show. I am grateful.

    Thank you, Elise!
Thank you, Elise, for having and sharing these important conversations! Every podcast is thoughtful, full of tangible information, and insight. I always walk away with a golden nugget of information. Also, thank you for your wonderful book and for making Yeshua’s teaching around it (and everything) available. ❤️

    So great but…
LOVE Elise. I read her book as soon as it came out. So many of the pod topics are insightful, helpful, interesting, and I think Elise is a lovely host. I cringe every time something about the “Yeshua Transmissions” is posted. It’s so ridiculous. Jesus comes through a white lady with a fake British accent? Ma’am. Other than that, huge yes.

Elise is the bees knees! 🐝
I’ve been a longtime fan of Elise. I was captivated by her perspective all the way back to her very first goop podcast episode. Fast forward to today, and I’ve reconnected with her again on pulling the thread. I’m always learning amazing nuggets from Elise and her guests. I’m so impressed with her diverse guest lineup and her thirst for knowledge in so many different areas. Keep going Elise!

    Wow, you went to Yale!!!
A word of advice to podcasters- don’t spend 5 minutes talking to your guest about going to Yale before even getting started on the show topic. You can edit that sort of thing out. I look for podcasts like this to feel better, not like a peasant.

    beautiful
Elise... this is utterly beautiful. This podcast has been my very favorite podcast since I came across it. I had followed your past work on a different podcast and when I finally searched you name I found this! I was hooked from the very first listen. In fact I wanted to immediately call you and share my love for your voice- this voice you were able to fully share with us. I wanted to call you like I would a friend to celebrate them. You encourage our authentic exploration into the spaces within each of us, the people you interview, and yourself. It is such an honest and natural conversation as you dive deeply into the spaces your guests are exploring. And the length of the podcasts are so perfect. I’d love for many of the conversations to go longer. But having them extend beyond the 20/30/60 min timeline is gorgeous. Thank you so much for offering this experience and sharing it with the world. I am truly grateful.

    Solo Podcast
Todays sharing was my favorite one so far. It was wonderful to look through the window in the other direction. We hear such great sages speak on this podcast. But today we got to look through the window of the observer that invites the wisdom. Thank you for this gift of yourself. ❤️
