  • Poor host
    Terrible host
This show has great content. It is informative and interesting, but the host is terrible. The number of times she uses “like” or “so” or “you know” ruins the listening experience. I just read a transcript is an effort to glean the information without the annoyance to no avail. The sentences are as difficult to understand reading them as listening. This is a shame, because the stories of the saints told are truly inspiring.

    Great Content
This podcast has great content and I wish the participants would re-cut it with Taylor Kemp controlling his interruptions and both participants concentrating on slowing down and refraining from the staccato delivery. Unfortunately, I am older and when people race and burst with words, it is sometimes difficult to figure out the words much less exercise discernment. I have similar auditory issues with the other great participants and podcasts. Maybe it is a generational thing.

    Too Many Interruptions
Taylor Kemp needs to STOP interrupting every sentence. It is unbearable and ruins what would be an otherwise enjoyable podcast. Wanted to subscribe but had to turn it off.

    Saint David of Wales
It’s weird they’re talking about King David for the feast day of Saint David of Wales a bishop who died 500 years after Christ. Two different people. It makes me question all the information they’ve ever given in previous episodes. Will unsubscribe for now. I hope they start fact checking before just posting their quick google searches.

    Not Catholic Here
I’m not Catholic, but I do enjoy this podcast from time to time. I imagine the show is even more compelling for people who grew up in the faith.

    Catholic Saints
The podcast episode on St. Luke is so informative. Very touching to hear how St. Luke never abandoned Paul, sad that others did. Loved St. Paul outside the Walls.

    Good content poor delivery
From what I could hear, he sounded like a very interesting podcast. However, the female is difficult to understand. I could only understand 50% of what she said. This is extremely frustrating and I therefore to not listen to what they have to say.

    Some are good, some awful
Seem to be getting worse. Alfred is super well known and they spoke about him like a random, obscure figure. Really unintelligent conversation. Some of the “experts” seem not to take the interview seriously. Giving not much more than a Wikipedia description.
  • Grateful 20121229
    Surprisingly Low-Key and Relatable
The brief episodes are packed with information delivered in a comfortable, collegial manner. They are a great way to learn about saints (many rather obscure) and get some tips about how their saintly ways may lead us all to greater conversion.

    Wonderful!
I so love this podcast! It’s inspiring, educational, wise, and fun! Thank you, thank you. I just finished learning about Saint Martin of Tours. Dr. Klein is always so great and the back and forth between her and Taylor always has me smiling. God bless you and yours (all) and the work you do.🙏🏻❤️

Excellent information. However, Dr. Mooney, please listen to your speaking. Way too many uums which are very distracting and take away from the message.

Excellent information so well put together!
It’s a great way to learn about our saints. So much information condensed in a very nice and enjoyable format. Many interesting facts about the saints that would take a long time to put together on my own. It also allows to learn about facts of their daily lives that helps us relate to them and gives hope for the ordinary person to work on our way to sainthood. Thank you! Please offer more.

    Short and informative
Love this podcast. When I feel too tired to listen to lectures, I love tuning in for these short episodes which are fast-paced, very informative, and uplifting. I learn so much about different saints, but also about the Church, sainthood, traditions, and so on and so forth.

    Awesome and informative
This podcast is a rich source of information and inspiration. The scholars at the Augustine Institute are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. Mary, you are so relatable and fun, you have the voice of an angel.
  • G Dolan
Informative and helps grow in faith
This podcast is very informative and has informed my faith as an aide to learning about the saints and reflecting on their lives. I do wish they would polish up the delivery - more direct questions and more "fact-checking" before the show - the hosts too often sound unsure about something. It comes across as unprepared.

    Captivating and Inspiring
This is a must-listen for any Catholic who needs holiness in their lives. The recounting of the lives of the saints are so enthralling and inspiring of faith. What makes it so great is the great enthusiasm and reverence of the presenters for these saints. You can almost describe the presenters as Catholic geeks! Their enthusiasm and reverence is contagious and this will always uplift you.
