The Becket Cook Show was created by Becket Cook to discuss relevant topics and to crush the lies of culture with truth. Becket Cook was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from college, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of writing and acting, finding success in both. He eventually became a production designer working on fashion shoots for brands such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Gap, L'Oréal Paris, and Nike. Becket lived as a gay man until 2009, when he reluctantly agreed to attend a church service at which he was transformed by the gospel and gave his life to Christ. He also knew that homosexuality was a sin and that he could no longer live that life. Becket spends much of his time in ministry speaking at churches, universities, and conferences helping people understand this issue biblically, theologically, culturally, and personally. Becket graduated from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University in 2017 with a Master of Arts in Theology.

I don’t remember how I discovered Becket Cook but was so blessed and intrigued by his testimony of God rescuing and changing him. His podcast has a great variety of interesting subjects but clearly his goal is to honor Jesus Christ. My favorite show, so far, was the story of the discovery of your Mom’s letter she wrote you. I cried like a baby. Incredibly beautiful! You are a blessing Becket!

Why on earth did I just hear a pride commercial for Lambda Legal on this show?? Horrible! Typically this is a great show, but why the double talk of spreading God’s truth (THE truth) and then the lgbtq commercial woven in???

Beckett has such a great testimony. It is true and real. Who can say there is no power in the Gospel when there are walking, breathing testimonies such as his. The truth is always spoken with a heart of compassion and love. Thank you for being so open and honest with your life and I am so grateful you found the Lord Jesus Christ.

I love this podcast, Beckett is very compassionate and kind and I love the guests that he has on. I think he’s very graceful when discussing LGBTQ issues in a biblical way. We don’t agree on everything, but we agree on the fundamental beliefs of Christianity and the Bible’s view of sexuality, marriage, and gender.

I have loved watching Becket on YouTube for many years now! After reading his book, “A change of affection”, which I highly recommend! I have loved watching, listening and soaking in Becketts biblical views on same sex attraction. As a Christian who experiences same sex attraction myself, but who chooses to not act on or live out my desires! Becketts videos are so incredibly inspiring, uplifting and helpful! I appreciate having the option for podcasts while working or going through my day!

Good to address sexuality from Christ centered…the problem is that kids are being indoctrinated with evolution as well, which means to them Jesus becomes irrelevant because there is no god so they can do whatever they want. I recommend teaming up with Answers In Genesis, Ken Ham and work with evolution vs creation as well.

Intellectually Lazy Fear-Mongering

I have only listened to a couple episodes of Becket critiquing feminism demonstrated through media like his episode on the Barbie movie and on the album Free to be You and Me. I cannot therefore comment on the more positive programming he does that helps build people up. But when he is critiquing positions he disagrees with, he does so in incredibly bad faith. He extends zero benefit of the doubt and sees toxic wokeness under every rock. He just assumes that his audience sees all feminists as evil as if that’s a fact of life. I am a conservative Christian who believes in the authority of Scripture. I’m pro-life and pro-traditional marriage. And I believe this show is narrow minded and intellectually lazy. I would not recommend it to anyone. There are thoughtful conservatives who do not feel the need to decry anyone who disagrees with them as evil. Listen to them.

As a Christian, I was struggling to understand the gay lifestyle and struggling to understand the statement made by the gay community “God made me this way so I should live this way”. I finally was able to understand the lifestyle by listening to Beckets podcast. I have recommended it to many Christian friends and family. Your show is a saving grace!

Becket’s wisdom comes from experience. He speaks truth to the dark lies we face daily in our work places, our schools, our homes, with our precious loved ones. God will prevail in the end. Until then, like Becket, we must be brave in speaking up to the satanic garbage stifling our souls. I once would have thought these sentences were overblown. Not anymore! Thank you, Becket, for sharing God’s miraculous blessings with the world. I pray that people will listen!

Warmth, wit & worship of God

There have been so many occasions that Becket has encapsulated a question or idea in such a way that I want to send people an episode to address something that’s top of mind for them. Becket has the warmth of a dear friend. I love how he uses his incredible cultural background, wide scholarly reading and knack for understanding the times at hand to help us all learn God’s truth. He does it in such a humble and approachable way. I’m pretty sure if I saw him in public I would ask for a big hug. I listen to these as soon as they come out and I am amazed by the variety of guests— and how I learn so much from them.

I am not someone who ever writes reviews but Becket is a wonderful interviewer and I stumbled on his podcasts today I have been listening to his YouTube channel prior to this. I remember Becket when he was still in Hollywood before he came to Christ. I love hearing about how God is using him and I am so encouraged to pray for others because of his story. 🤍
