KazusonGreat PodLove the pod! just listened to her on magical rewind pod and just thought Christy was so cool and down to earth I had to check out her Pod and I love it! Keep up the good work Christy!
-
elyselouisemusicAwesome!Just read the hateful review someone left you last month and wanted to say that none of that is true. Even Steven’s was great. You’re great. This is an interesting topic and advocating for young actors is important.
-
Lacey OhhhYIKESNo amount of rebranding can save your solo podcast. “Hollywood’s Iconic Big Sister” 🙄 Come on, babe. My friends and I are young millennials and literally none of us liked your role on Even Steven’s.. I don’t even think you did either. Podco is a cute name, but I’d ditch Iconic and the Ned’s Rewatch and focus on the others. Jen and David are great in the Wizards Rewatch and Anneliese is a brilliant choice in cohost for Big Name. If you put energy into a couple of projects instead of trying to pull off so much at once you could actually get the ratings/views you want 😘

unhappy trial user CathyGrossNot surprised that she had the narcissist Corey Feldman on but deletes a survivor trying to tell her story. I gave her a chance but we would need a scroll for all of the times she says me and I on her podcast but everyone get ‘vulnerable’ on here. Get over yourself and your pathetic stories about how you couldn’t be on Maxim and your stupid wannabe Playboy memories. Who cares!? Get ‘vulnerable’ yourself and focus on the real survivors here. Try focusing within and stop speaking like a pig. Get some class.
-
CC5XOSurprisedI was surprised and shocked by the hatred of the south and southern people. Mostly by one of their guests but also by the hosts, who live in the south.
-
Hilary_SJMECutting Edge is ICONICI’m ready for that Cutting Edge tea Christy! Let’s get a costar on and hear the true Hollywood story 😊.
-
Jesse JefeLove it!Christy is an amazing host with an energy that makes her guests comfortable. She is so genuinely inquisitive and listens to the answers. A great find and I’m looking forward to future episodes!
-
LovingInWonderlandShe is a joke! Her podcast is total “trauma tourism” excepts she decides what is legit and what isn’t and as long as she is on the drivers side, it’s ok.
-
Megg.GriffinUsed to be a fanBut come on. Stop bully indie podcasters.
-
Jessicalala16Doesn’t seem genuine. You can tell when she’s towing the line and trying not to alienate people, which makes sense to an extent. But when you’re name dropping Joe Rogan and singing his praises - I’m out. Have a moral compass. And frankly, better taste.
-
XoechitlGives Abusers a Platform, Yuck!I loved watching and listening to this podcast, but recently learned the grossness that happens behind closed doors. Christy doesn’t give a safe environment for survivors to tell their story. She deleted Alexa’s story and allowed Cory Feldman on her podcast, which they both laughed about Hugh Hefner’s abuse on other women. She and her husband continue to produce the Ned’s Declassified podcast, even after the disgusting jokes Devon said about Drake Bell. Christy is just contributing to the problems in society. She isn’t that sincere, caring person she tries to portray on her podcast.

HeatherVCExtremely DisappointedIt is extremely disappointing to see CCR turn against Alexis Nikolas, who was VULNERABLE in the podcast and helped put the podcast on the map. CCR deletes a fellow woman child actress’s episode, while keeping Bug Hall’s episode up. Disgusted. Unfollowing. Was getting bored anyway.
-
nunununununu9Getting more annoyingStarted off tolerable, but everyone featured talks about how they’re the victim and the host (CCR) needs lessons in how to interview- it is so grinding to hear her constantly talking over her guests. Tuning out.
-
TJxmelHypocriteClaims she’s a safe space but deletes Alexa Nikolas’s episode because she doesn’t believe her. She doesn’t have any questions prepared and she constantly talks over her guests.
-
amii443On behalf of Alexa, Holly, and every other survivor you speak to…Please don’t be part of the problem. Do better. No longer a listener.
-
wingardiumleveveosa👎👎👎Shameful and so disappointing seeing what you did to Alexa Nikolas after her ep put your podcast on the map. Keep blocking and deleting, it’s your content, right? An apology and accountability could of gone a long way but ohhh it’s too scary, huh? Unfollowed.
-
SassygaywallaceAllergic to accountabilityReally disappointed that I've always admired Christy and now I see her allergies keep her from acting with integrity

Rbyn12345Not Really VulnerableI wanted to like this podcast but it’s really boring. It’s called Vulnerable, but really it’s just child stars telling their stories about how they got jobs. Nothing vulnerable about it, it’s just history? I think it leaves much to be desired, my head literally hurts waiting for her to say anything that’s interesting.
-
Jul4567&$Love it!I love the pod the content is awesome it feels very authentic and real. My only complaint is that sometimes when the topics get heavy Christi tends to start like whisper talking and out of nowhere speaks loudly and so I find myself constantly raising and lowering the volume bc I can’t hear and then she’s screaming. Overall tho love the content just wish she would fix that bc i really do wanna hear what she’s saying but sometimes it gets lost in the whisper talk lol
-
Momof4MNNot the best interviewerShe is an OK interviewer, however it really seems any chance she gets to interject her own personal story by ‘relating’ to the interviewee she does and it’s super distracting. We are not listening to hear her story but the one she is interviewing. It really feels like she’s trying to make it a decent amt about herself.

Still Worth a Listen!Definitely Potential!I was super excited to start listening to this podcast because as a 90s kid, I grew up on Disney and Nickelodeon with shows such as Even Stevens. I think Christy is so fun to listen to, and it’s fun to hear her voice again as an adult, but there seems to be a lot of issues with the quality coming from the microphone itself. Unless it’s just my phone or playback, sound and conversation come in and out in waves. For example, someone will be sharing their story, and every couple seconds they will get really quiet as if they pulled away from the microphone. I think that her conversations with guests have a lot of potential, but by the end of the episode, I walk away feeling like they really didn’t cover anything or that it was surface level conversation. For example, in the Jill Dugger episode, I think that by the end of the interview things started to gain momentum, but overall, there really wasn’t a lot of headway gained from their conversation. Christy had expressed in the intro how Jill really goes in depth about her family and everything that has happened, coping with the spot light, being a child growing up famous etc. but in reality they touch on most issues briefly and then seem to skate over the issues that Christy wants to ask about, but doesn’t seem to have the comfort asking. No one wants to force someone to talk about their trauma, but if there is a guest on the show that has recently gone through something and you’re wanting more information on it, there needs to be the confidence to be able to ask those hard questions. Or it seems like establishing what is off-limits to talk about ahead of time to avoid a lot of the dancing around the issue which seems to happen. Overall, I will always love her, her work, and all of those valuable lessons that shows like hers provided me as a kid. It’s neat to hear some of the behind-the-scenes details that were going on that as a kid, I had no idea about. I’m no podcaster, just someone who likes to listen on their morning commute in Chicago:) Keep it up Christy, us 90s babies love you!

Mrs.MLBPleaseIs it necessary to take the Lords name in vain? It does not further your point and make you sound intelligent. I can’t listen to an otherwise informative podcast with this. Thanks for considering.
-
SteveS2022I enjoy this podcast very much.I enjoy this podcast very much. Christy is excellent at providing a safe space for an open and often brutally honest conversation with her guests.
-
lvl0013Good listenI enjoy the show but prefer the episodes that Christy hosts solo.
-
yates2018Great concept, poor deliveryI enjoy the clips on TT and YT of when the guests are speaking, but I tried to listen to an episode and couldn’t get through even 15 mins. As a podcast host myself, it’s incredible hard to listen to interviews where the host isn’t letting the guest speak more than 60 seconds before interjecting. Very poor listening skills; those need to be improved in order for the show to improve.
-
jujurod28Not Guest Focused EnoughI wanted to like this podcast so much and wanted to hear from Disney stars I grew up watching - which is what brought me to this podcast. However, the host overpowers/cuts off her guest stars and seems to continuously talk about her own life and experience in all of the episodes I’ve listened to. Too frequently the host will ask her guest a question, and then proceed to answer the question herself referencing her own life. The podcast could use more structure.
-
Westie6090MehAds poorly edited in. Host doesn’t stop talking long enough to let the guest answer. The host seems to have had every experience that every guest has ever had.
-
AlittlereviewforyouAlmost thereI was so excited to start this podcast and while the episodes I’ve listened to are enjoyable, there’s definite room for improvement. It feels like the episodes have so much potential but end up being a whole lot of nothing. Sometimes it feels like I’m just third wheeling in a friends convo that I don’t know anything about and instead of explaining so that I can understand, it’s inside jokes and memories or tangents that leave me in the dark. The host interrupts frequently and doesn’t seem to know much about her guests before the interview. I think it would greatly benefit from structure and research. Amazing potential, just needs some tweaks.
-
VaJennatalsBlissfully IgnorantInstead of educating herself on her guests, she turns off comments and blocks people! So sad to see such a great podcast praising and giving a platform for a known domestic abusing, racist, antisemite. Sometimes your childhood heroes just grow up and cling to fame anyway they know how. Including giving a voice to those who have done nothing but hate.
-
Seralet2Not good.I thought the concept interesting but I’ve already heard too many times how famous the host is, and I honestly have never heard of her. So to listen to the first world problems of someone who is “famous” (everything is relative) is a beat down.
-
123jackieleeI want to like itI really want to like this podcast! But the host interjects so much that it is uncomfortable to listen to - the guests keep being interrupted. And it doesn’t seem that she researches her interviewees. A little more prep and a dose of patience would make it way better. As it is, I had to stop the Mara Wilson episode half way through because it was so irritating and uncomfortable to hear her be interrupted continuously and to listen to the confusion and jumbled timelines due to a lack of preparation on the hosts part.
-
Jay DeeNolaGood podcast but could use some editingThis is a good podcast with some interesting guests but I think there is a little too much chatting off topic. I think some more focused interviews would give the guests more time to tell their stories and shine. The main topics are really interesting though and christy seems good at making her guests feel comfortable.
-
!!!DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!Amazing GuestsThe best and most interesting guests. Another comment mentioned a few things I agree with.. I think better questions could be presented. Christy overpowers the conversations and has some insecurities that really shine through in a snarky way :/
-
S1107perkAlmostThere is a really great concept here but the execution is off. I've listened for a couple months and even went back to the early episodes to hear some that interested me. The host talks about their own life over the guest too much. I don't know if it's just my taste but I feel if you will be having guests the episode should just be about the guests. The most recent (and my last listen) started with the guest introduction and then 5 minutes about the host's children. It's okay to talk about your life and family but do so on your time. Maybe every few episodes don't have a guest so you can talk about your life and tell all the stories you want.
-
brynnsandLove the show - except the audio :(Absolutely love the concept of this show and LOVE the content so far. I have been noticing lately that the audio seems to get loud, then quiet, loud again, etc. ESPECIALLY on the “I’m glad my mom died” episode. I had to stop listening because it was so bad 😩 if this small issue was fixed this show is PERFECT 🤍
-
Disappointed585Loved this podcastLoved this podcast until the ads started. I’m so glad for the podcast to receive sponsorships, but the producers need to get it together. They’re starting mid-sentence so you forget what they were even talking about the ad.
-
redwag0nSo much potentialI am really disappointed in this podcast. There is a lot of opportunity for this podcast to be amazing and dive into many peoples experiences and shine a light on some awful practices in the entertainment industry. However it is let down by the hosts interviewing skills. They are not good. She doesn’t know when to interrupt and when to let a guest speak. The interviews often go on tangents and the episode descriptions are click bare. I wish she would work with an interviewer like Kara Swisher to hone her interview craft. It would elevate the episodes.
-
Kris9122Great podcastWhat a wonderful and kind human. I hope she does more solo episodes about herself. Christy is skilled at both being personable and getting people to truly be vulnerable with her.

Tdawg2006Love love loveSo, I’m truly a millennial and didn’t think I would like pod casting probably would have never given pod cast a chance! Until my brother 9 years my senior was like stop that and just listen to S town about a year ago! I’m from a small town in Alabama so S town was perfect to get me hooked then I went down the rabbit hole that is true crime! I had started a new daytime job that gave me 8 hours a day to just dive in to pod cast and was running out of content quickly and was asking ppl trying to find out what other pod cast I would enjoy! Then I watch the Aaron Carter special on Hulu and of course I watched Even Stevens and loved y’all, but I don’t do tik tok and I’m so stuck in the hole of 10 years behind the rest of the world that is Alabama and the Deep South! So, I dove into vulnerable the podcast and was jumping around listening to the shows with ppl that I knew and now I have listened to about half of them! And you are amazing I love the way you break in all the time because you relate and want to connect and it’s beautiful! It gets a lil confusing from time to time but I love it the humanity! And the shows with ppl I have no idea who they are have been the real gems to me bc I’m going and looking them up and wanting to reach out! Cause I have never posted a single review or contacted a single celebrity really don’t know what I’m doing here, but this has touched me just that much! The realness is so great and now I have so many pods to listen to after I finish from all your wonderful friends!

Smooooshed cupcakeLove love loveI love the honesty of this podcast and the insight it gives. While others my age were watching mtv I was definitely still watching Disney channel and teen nick. I’ve always admired Christy. This is just a great podcast!

SassysexkittenStop making everything about yourself! So I am NOT a fan of this host whatsoever, but I was a fan of Aaron Carter. So when I saw the episode that was meant to be for Aaron, I was really hoping to hear a well deserved tribute to him; but instead we get a host who talked about Aaron’s tragedy for only 4 minutes and then dedicate the rest the 35 minute episode to the recording she did the day that he didn’t show up and pretty much made the entire episode about herself and her life while continuously bashing Aaron for not showing up the entire time she is recording. How can you name this episode after Aaron when the entire episode is focused on yourself? Also we can totally see right through you when you say “I am not bitter towards anyone”. Yes you very much are, and it shows. So self centered even on an episode that was meant to mourn the loss of a fallen star. Terrible! I don’t even want to give you one star but there is no option for 0.
-
JeterGirl94I loved the Annalisa EpisodeThe Annalisa episode was amazing! I love how open she was about topics she couldn’t speak about before and you Christy are incredible. Keep up the good work!

MandysweetchickI’m living for all of this vulnerability!Christy, I have been a fan of yours since your Disney days and am now a weekly listener of this podcast. You were a role model for me then and you continue to be one for me now. It is so refreshing to hear your perspective on life and the insights that “fans” otherwise wouldn’t know or understand. You are genuine and authentic and that shines through your work. I’m glad you are using your voice for the better good. And I loveeee your voice. Ignore these haters that say you interrupt or talk too much. This is YOUR podcast the last time I checked and these people knew that when they started listening. Never let them silence you or dim your light. The genuine people/fans will connect with it and the others will be weeded out. I love what you’re doing with Alyson Stoner. And I wish you the best of luck in all the things you do. Anytime you get a negative comment from someone I hope you think about this one instead. Remember that hurt people hurt people. And you could be the ripest and juiciest peach in the world, and there will always be someone out there who hates peaches. There is only one YOU and I believe you see the power in that. It’s a beautiful thing. Xoxo, A Fan of yours for 20 years and counting.

Kailee 2lazNed Cast EpisodeI was looking forward to the Ned cast episode, but found myself disappointed. It was chaotic and too much overlap with the talking. I have sensory issues and nearly had to end the episode early. I’m usually a fan of this podcast, but when you have more than one guest, it’s hard to know what’s going on from an audience standpoint. Glad you all had fun though.
-
MedleyAnnPlease have Mayim Byalik on your podcast!First of all, absolutely LOVING your podcast. Fantastic way to nurture one’s emotional maturity. Much love! Second, I listen to Mayim’s Breakdown and I absolutely love it and her. Vulnerable plus neuroscience?! What could be better?! 😳🤯

AntiHero96Learning how to be vulnerableI was born in 96 so growing up I was apart of the OG Disney Channel. It’s been hard for me to vulnerable and to open myself up to my friends and family but listening to this podcast is teaching me that it’s ok to take a pause and share what I want with everyone who knows me.
-
Christi lee19Just shh pleaseSo difficult to listen when the host rejects every time the guest is speaking. It’s very frustrating when the hosts have important information to share.
-
SlazdomLove This ShowI found this podcast listening to Christy’s other podcast I Hear Voices. Not every guest is a hit for me, but I was surprised how many episodes I loved of people I didn’t know. Christy does a great job of having true open conversations that sound like friends just chatting about life.
-
H.DicksonLove love love!!I love this podcast. The honesty and pure nature of this show is amazing. I grew up with you and most of your guests and I really appreciate the inside of everything going on that we as outsiders had no idea. This fantasy world was made of real people who had real issues just like us. Thank you for opening our eye to something new and giving an opportunity for others to come forward and open up.
