Robbie has an inability to objectively criticize Trump or the right wing

I am so sick of the left blaming Donald Trump for not passing the recent immigration law. It was a terrible law, and was rejected by both parties when the legislation was voted upon.

Bree was a very good addition for the show. The current cohost sounds uneducated, emotional, and somewhat distressed. Thank you Robbi for all you do I hope you can hang in long enough to find a replacement.

I like this show but have been so disappointed lately I still listen but less now since the Fauci interview. They had been so critical of Fauci for a year and when he finally went on, he got the softest questions and hampered responses from the hosts. It felt so controlled and out of step. Then they fired Bri? I think she shouldn’t roll her eyes, for sure I would have been talked to if I’d done the same in my job… but to fire her and censor Kim iverson really speaks to the corporate control of this podcast. Jessica Burbank has been tough to listen to always calling RFK “brain worms” when neurocysticercosis is an incredibly common condition seen especially in people from the southern border.

Good information and commentary about national politics. Good arguments are made by all the hosts. Con: the podcast is posted too late in the day.

Wasn’t sure why this was in my feed when it started playing, thought it was a podcast I hadn’t followed. Wrong. It just changed and not in a good way. Hosts saying things without knowing the facts. Why? What happened?? I try to give everything a chance but here I just can’t.

The last episode was really hard to listen to. Nayera is WAY too confrontational. It felt like she was trying to pick a fight with Robby on every segment. I get they’re not supposed to agree on everything, but it’s just hard to listen to. I miss Briana and yeah there were episodes that it would get heated between her and Robby, but this last episode blew it out of the water. Couldn’t even finish it.

Robby needs to step back and take a long hard look at his own stances because he is now sounding like a MAGA cultist spewing gross propaganda. I appreciate honest pushback and am no fan of Biden, but the show is difficult to currently.

The Hill is so afraid of the truth that they fired the only hosts that were honest. Katie Halper and Briahna Joy Gray were fired for their morally consistent views on Israel and democracy.

I can't believe you've now fired TWO amazing journalists for speaking on TRUE FACTS. Hmm wonder what countries have done that....at least do Briahna the respect and take her picture off your podcast picture because it's misleading. You no longer have the pull of people watching BECAUSE Briahna is one of the few honest journalists in news anymore. This is majorly your loss, she will be just fine. I would look forward to this show because I thought of it as a place where various views could be shared. Apparently speaking about barbarism in all forms isn’t accepted by the hill. Briahna will be fine, but the hill didn’t think about their future and credibility. Unless they were influenced somehow and rather show fealty rather than fairness…

I just unsubscribed from Rising podcast now that Briahna Joy Gray has been let go. By the way, it’s B-R-I-A-H-N-A. Her former employer could have shown the most basic respect by taking time to properly spell her name when parting ways. I thought The Hill was independent news commentary but it’s just as corporate as any other news media. Very disappointing.

The Hill allows no criticism of Israel. The few hosts they’ve had who speak truth to power are ultimately let go. The show no longer holds the relevance it used to.

What a joke of a news show. They censor then fire their contributors who opinions they disagree with. Never listening again.

This show promises to offer a new left and new right perspective, sometimes conversational and agreeable and sometimes argumentative. That’s what I listen for. They have now fired two leftists for speaking out against Zionist propaganda. Katie Halper, and recently Briahna Joy Gray were both victims of this spinelessness. The Hill is not able to live up to what it has promised. Listen to Breaking Points instead.

Remember Radars? Now Rising is just “what did elon musk or tucker Carlson say this week? What do you think Robbie?” Just for fun and to screw everyone up, they should post episodes at a consistent time and day. Just for a goof.

Ever since Briahna Joy Gray joined the show, she has been a fierce voice for the American left, unafraid to speak truth to power, never bending the knee to hegemonic norms no matter how loudly they screeched at her defiance. Nowhere as she been more brave than in her staunch opposition to the genocide in Gaza, fighting against the tide of the media establishment. Unfortunately, it seems the Hill would rather fall on the sword of Zionist ideology than maintain the best anchor it’s ever had on Rising. No offense to Niall and Jessica, but they do no measure up to Briahna. Rising has lost this listener, as I assume it will many others.

Show was never the same after breaking points started, but firing Bri is the end for me.

Anytime the Palestinian “conflict” comes up, and it seems incessant at this point, I have to switch podcasts. Briahna's tone changes and is either condescending or shrill and and her viewpoint is marred by a complete lack of objectivity. Otherwise, she is a good presenter for the Populist Left and great way of expressing that ideology.

I started listening to Rising because I like to hear a wide range of political perspectives and thought a Dem Soc one would be useful. I’ve been shocked since the first episode I listened to by how vacuous and weird this podcast is, from the Trump tweet-style capitalizations of the episode titles to the bizarre way both hosts speak in the style of network TV anchors reading the news while what they’re actually doing is delivering a combination of opinion and propaganda. The scripts are poorly written, the facts are often blatantly wrong (Seriously—try fact-checking a five minute segment. I promise you’ll find glaring errors.), and the hosts’ arguments demonstrate a total lack of critical thinking skills or familiarity with the arguments against the political positions.

The lack of chemistry between the co-hosts is becoming super challenging to listen to. They both interrupt each other and just seem too intense when simply discussing world events and politics. Sadly will have to get my news with other independent journalists that stand in their truth but in a less antsgonistic way

The hosts seem to enjoy arguing and talking over each other. It’s one thing to debate, but this show crosses the line too often into something more intense. They each want to get the last word. I like hearing news that is not covered the way the mainstream covers it, but I had to unfollow due to being uncomfortable with the constant sharpness.

The show is usually good but whenever there’s an opportunity to race hustle Brianna will take it, most of the time she negates any meaningful argument she may have by immediately saying something absolutely absurd shortly after. It’s frustrating but I appreciate Robbie being there to counter. I also appreciate being able to hear the crazy ideas some “educated” folks put forth.

Brianna speaks the truth. She stands up for the working class. Robby, go home.

Only listen because Briahna is one of the few people intelligently and thoughtfully telling the truth that American media is too corrupt and cowardly to tell.

This is the podcast version of the Rising internet news/debate show from The Hill. It can be a good forum for debate, when actually allowed to happen. Briahna almost always goes on long monologues without letting her guests or cohosts get a word in edgewise. It’s clear she likes to hear herself talk, and she’s very eloquent. But she doesn’t really constructively or critically engage with views different from her own. Let Robby actually talk. Let your guests talk. It would help the show immensely.

Robby is measured and fair, but Briahna is basically a radicalized Twitter fanatic whose been given a news show. I’m more sympathetic to the left vs right perspective on most issues, but the level of unsophisticated, unprofessional rhetoric that Briahna regularly spews makes the show unlistenable. Hope Robby finds a new and better gig, he’s being dragged down by a clown

She has to stop interrupting & loud capping him. Each should have equal opportunity to convey their point, without being cutoff.

I love the show and getting two sides to every story. My only complaint is how inconsistent the publishing seems to be. It seems like days are frequently missed or published very late. As someone who relies on the show for my news source, I’d love to see it be more reliable, and consistent. Keep up the great work!

Both Brie and the android not only have been the interlocutors of terrorist chic but have been advancers of any variety of new twists echoing from the tunnels. Robbie, the moderate, measured in most every stance he’s taken has been more or less neutralized by the Draconian assault on historical revisionism. Both show reasonable discourse on domestic issue but for foreign policy …. I think he’ll will have to freeze over.

I know it’s not independent but they’re doing a great job letting them express points that get ignored on other platforms.

Used to appreciate learning about various opinions that were different than mine. However, Brianna’s obvious antisemitism and complete lack of understanding regarding Israel is going to far. Unfollowed and will never listen again.

It’s clear Brianna thinks this is her show. Robby does try his best, but she talk over him, and doesn’t let him talk. With the Israeli conflict, Brianna’s clear antisemitism is shown for everyone to see. Even Robby couldn’t take it at one point. I used to really like this podcast, but it’s just an antisemitic daily rant now.

Brianha constantly talks over Robbie, filibustering until the segment is over. Now she has fallen into deranged anti-Israel histrionics. She feels the murder of innocent, unarmed Israelis is morally equivalent “resistance” to alleged Israeli atrocities. Katie halper got fired for criticizing Israel, but brianha is given free rein to defend people who cheered the pogrom. The last straw was her arguing about how the media lied about decapitated babies. Who cares how the babies were murdered? They were murdered!

This show has been a roller coaster of fairly insightful hosts with some amount or liberal or conservative bias, where the most iconoclastic among them are eventually eliminated and replaced with someone more palatable to The Hill’s parent corporation. Briahna Joy Gray, despite some hot takes, has avoided the fate of Kim Iversen & Katie Halper. Maybe it’s due to her thinly-veiled approval of reviving authoritarian public health measures beloved by the DNC & Big Pharma; just thinking aloud…
