Steph BenjaminSo helpful!!Love this podcast! They helped me go from having a haphazard home gym workout to a comprehensive fitness program and feeling confident using my a barbell. Also love all inclusive and body-positive messaging!
-
clduvallThe most authentic!Initially started following about a year ago for the knowledge in lifting, going back and listening to episodes I’m impressed with the authenticity and broad range of topics. Lauren is such a strong role model but also gets into those spaces she was insecure with. It’s amazing inspiration and motivation I never knew I needed. Thanks!

JKMS76So positive and interesting!I love the information and positive nature of the podcast! I have learned about mobility training by watching their videos and am more flexible and in less pain after workouts now. Thank you for putting fitness into perspective and including everyone in your philosophy! It helps us newer to fitness folks have the motivation and encouragement to continue!

DelridgerEncouraging, educational & sustainableReasonably Fit is a breath of fresh air in an industry dominated by trends, aesthetics & marketing hype. The hosts are delightful and their content and insight have been a source of consistent encouragement and education in my fitness journey. I would especially recommend this podcast to any parents out there who are attempting to juggle taking care of their children and taking care of their bodies.

4star1Fantastic instructionsHonest and engaging couple who don’t give into fads. Content is understandable for newbies but in-depth and specific for veteran lifters. They definitely know what they are talking about. Lastly - I always finish the podcast - and their insta posts - encouraged! The barbell series - such great details. I’ve learned so much with the chest press podcast!!!

Christinamm253Empowering!I have been working out for years but since I started listening to/following Jason & Lauren I have experienced such an incredible mindset change! They really teach you healthy methods on how to approach health & fitness! I feel strong & empowered instead of not good enough/skinny enough/strong enough. Their videos on lifting form & mobility are also super helpful! If I could only choose one fitness account on Instagram to follow, it would be theirs! I also look forward to the podcast every week. Thank you for making the fitness world a healthier & happier place to be!! ❤️

CindyEP311Down to earth and realJason and Lauren are parents which makes this podcast so relatable to working parents! Listening to their episodes has given me the confidence to spend more time at the gym and switch it up from my usual group fitness classes. Can’t wait to start their Elevate program! Looking forward to their next epi. Thanks y’all!!

Ashley_Edwards_1993So Happy To Have Found Jason and LaurenI came across Jason and Lauren on Instagram and immediately found their content so friendly, welcoming, and educational. I loved that they made fitness so approachable, emphasized mobility and athleticism and not just aesthetics. Eventually when I began searching for a new strength training program, I decided to check and see if they had a program, and then found RISE! I’ve been a RISE light member for about 3-4 months or so and I’ve absolutely loved it! I find it to be extremely well put together and the program walkthroughs and demonstration videos are incredibly helpful. Eventually I found their podcast, Reasonably Fit, and have greatly enjoyed listening to that as well! It’s extremely informative and continues to drive home their overarching message to be “reasonable” when it comes to fitness. It is thoughtful and nuanced and also so easy to listen to as they bring a kindness and light heartedness to each episode. The “reasonably fit” message really means a lot to me because in the pursuit of health and fitness, I have often been extremely UN reasonable. From extreme restriction to extreme exercise to extreme mindset… it has never been good! But I’m slowly trying to unlearn and relearn what is actually healthy. Thank you Jason and Lauren. I will continue to be a RISE member and supporter of you both!

EomalleKnowledgeable and RelatableYou can tell Jason and Lauren know what they’re talking about and they don’t “dumb it down” - they make the super scientific discussions understandable. I also enjoy their commentary and side stories about family, sickness, etc because it makes the regular obstacles to fitness relatable. I’m happy I found them on instagram and now listen here!

The information they share is well-researched, relevant, and clear. I always learn so much from listening! Plus, they really seem like compassionate and kind people who genuinely care about making fitness approachable, accessible, and workable. I trust their advice. Whatever they suggest doing, I’m doing it!

manifestivalfunLove this podcast!Jason and Laura are very personable, and obviously passionate about helping others make and reach their health and fitness goals. I enjoy the wide variety of topics and their sensible approach. In a time where we are bombarded with a million different approaches, this podcast has helped me find the confidence to sift through it all and find what’s right for me. Keep up the good work! You guys are great!

Jazzy MonsterNew go-to fitness podcastBeen following Jason & Lauren on social media for some time. Just discovered their podcast and it’s already my new favorite fitness podcast! VJay2949392@2Amazing people!!I love Lauren and Jason! I found them on IG and am so grateful for this podcast! It has brought a lot of balance and grace to my life. Their RISE program is also very well put together and I don’t feel like my joints are going to give out on me! I’m no longer feeling so stiff and in fact I feel like my balance and flexibility has improved!! They are terrific people that are so down to earth and genuine! I am a huge huge fan!

cnfuzeduserTop Tier Content and PeopleI have been listening to this podcast for the better part of a year and can’t believe how much Jason and Lauren have influenced my health, for the better! I spent years constantly beating myself up for not living a 100% “perfectly fit” lifestyle. After years of HIIT classes, I found myself stalled in progress, as well as both physically and mentally drained by my workouts. I am so glad I found their account on Instagram and their podcast, because they have helped me add back the fun and remove the guilt from fitness. I look forward to their content because I know it will be both informative and encouraging. There are enough places to get tough love, and it’s so refreshing to hear from people who just want to meet you where you’re at instead. Unrelated to the podcast but I also subscribed to their RISE workout program 3 months ago and have been loving it! Thanks Lauren and Jason for providing truly top-tier content and helping me improve my approach to fitness — I’m so thankful for you!
-
SkinnyJillTop notchJason and Lauren’s information is spot on. Their knowledge of body mechanics/form and how to progress is the best. Their depth of knowledge is very well rounded and very informative!
-
bobpottGreat Episodes, Better People! As a mom to two toddlers trying to figure out my postpartum body, I am so appreciative of this podcast’s refreshing commentary and Jason and Lauren’s approach to fitness. It has really helped me review and adjust my fitness goals for this season of life. Even so much as when they mention their young child coming out repeatedly from their bed during their workout…I FELT THAT! They are so easy to listen to, I learn so much with each episode, and I feel so much better attune to what my body needs. I no longer equate fitness to just aesthetics and I wholly credit them for that mind reset…thanks guys!!
-
damw47Best coaches I’ve hadLauren and Jason hit this sweet spot on the podcast of caring deeply about what they do and loving fitness, while also taking all the pressure off of performing at a certain level, needing to look a certain way, or needing to work out in any one “best” way. They freely share their own experiences of how training fits into their lives and reframe fitness as something enjoyable and flexible, not some awful mountain to climb that will only be worth it if you reach the top. I love their RISE program and would recommend trying it, as their attitude absolutely carries over to their coaching style. But even if you exercise in a completely different way or are super into just one discipline, the mindset they share on the podcast can be applied anywhere.
-
slgouldReally Great PodcastReally great information for all comers. Helps sort through the bogus fitness information and the tried and true stuff that just works even if it isn’t flashy. They present stuff in a relatable and applicable way.
-
Mrs. Nathan ScottPocket PTsJason and Lauren are the best! I am a RISE member and my favorite thing to do is to listen to an episode of this podcast after a workout. It’s like having my own personal trainers in my pocket leading me through workouts and educating me about all things fitness through an extremely reasonable approach :)
-
DonDonJuanJuanLove this show!I have learned SO much from Jason and Lauren! They are so knowledgeable and approach health and fitness in a way that has made me feel like I can be successful, confident and comfortable in a gym. This podcast is the perfect addition to their socials and Rise program!
-
Jaime L-WWholesome contentJason and Lauren, y’all just provide top tier content. The info is incredibly digestible and non-judgemental and I genuinely look forward to this podcast week over week. I’m an absolute fan of the message behind being reasonably fit and this podcast really helps to affirm me in my personal fitness journey. I love weight training but don’t have access to a gym like I used to. Since then I’ve fallen in love with yoga workouts from peloton and have a goal of getting into a deeper squat. This new type of exercise fits into my life currently since having two young kids and it’s just really nice to have someone tell you that doing something that works for you is the best thing you can do. I only get in 20-30 minute sessions which is much less than when I was weight training but I’ve stayed consistent and I have to thank y’all for helping me get into a better headspace about where I’m at in this season of my life!
-
Basmith24Just what I neededThe Paks not only took the pressure off my approach to fitness, they’ve also really piqued my interest in the mechanics of fitness and nuances of form, mobility, etc. I’ve surprisingly really enjoyed every episode. Legit that all the rating are 5 star.
-
Rural lifeI love everything about this podcast.Lauren and Jason are fitness experts and I love that they reject all-or-nothing fitness culture. They also put out a high-quality podcast that is enjoyable to listen to and have great chemistry on their show.
-
shrink on the goSane and sustainable approach to fitnessJust found these guys and can’t stop listening to their episodes! Really appreciate their balanced perspective —no scare tactics, shaming, or black/white thinking here. Especially worth a listen if you’re getting into lifting, like I am! And if you haven’t checked out the videos they post on their IG, they’re great companion tools to these episodes. My only regret is, as a Bostonian, that I didn’t get to make it out to Achieve. Keep up the great work, Jason and Lauren!
-
IrvineCellarBrilliantI’m so impressed with Jason and Lauren. They blend science with realities of people’s lives and emotions to recommend strategies that can make us healthier for more years as we age. Strongly recommend!
-
Lewis6packLove thisI’m so tired of trying to lose weight but I still want to be fit. This gives me more room to reach that goal without the extra baggage that I need to look a certain way. As a plus size gal its hard sometimes to hit the gym since I don’t fit the “look”. You get to feeling that you are not fit enough to go to the gym. What a backwards way to think. Love listening to you guys. Thanks!!!
-
tamafourFinally, a Relatable and Approachable Fitness PodcastI've been listening to this podcast for a few months now and I absolutely love it! Jason and Lauren are so relatable and do a great job making fitness approachable. I appreciate how they transparent about their own struggles and share their own personal experiences! Give them a listen and you won’t be disappointed!
-
supernova_pwr_katFinally! Where reason meets the fitness industry. If you’re tired of an all-or-nothing approach to fitness, a “go hard or go home” mentality, or a podcast that does NOT constantly talk about diet culture then this is the podcast for you! Lauren and Jason Pak bring decades of experience, compassion, and understanding that we are all in different seasons of our lives—peppered with humor and humility. They recognize that the gen pop just wants to be reasonably fit - you know, being able to carry groceries up a few flights of stairs or chase after your toddler. They demonstrate their knowledge of exercise science and break it down in a way that anyone can understand (without insulting someone’s intelligence). It’s evident they are passion about fitness and they want everyone to be healthy and fit (read being fit doesn’t have a look). They recognize that exercise is for everyone and every body. I have been lifting for several years, and I followed them on IG, but I recently began their RISE program because listening to their podcast has given me greater insight to their fitness philosophy, and it’s one that I can get behind. They are a breath of fresh air and the fitness industry could learn a thing or two from these two amazing coaches. Thank you, Lauren and Jason.

TriYKateA must-share with clients and fellow coachesI consistently recommend episodes of this podcast to my personal training clients. And it’s rarely the same episode. From those who suffer from “overtraining” to others who feel they don’t “look fit,” I seem to always recall an episode that is a fitting follow-up to a conversation I’ve had with a client. The YMCA I work at recently developed a Mentorship Circle for group exercise instructors and trainers - a potentially isolating job - and our first meeting is about dealing with injuries while continuing to work and have suggested everyone listen to the “You’re Not Broken” episode prior to the meeting. This will provide us with a starting point for our conversation and help to facilitate the discussion. The very episode I listened to I was struck by what a great “radio” voice Jason has 😉 but it’s been the great content, production quality and introduction to other great resources and trainers that have kept me coming back!
-
caitjenksSo refreshing!!I’m new to going to the gym and strength training in general and this podcast has been SO HELPFUL and informative. Their “reasonable” perspective is so incredibly refreshing especially for someone who’s not looking to be the next super jock, but who wants to be fit and healthy and do it in a sustainable way.
-
LlulayGreat and easy fitness adviceI’ve only listened to a couple eps so far, but the couple seems very knowledgeable and give great advice with relatable examples that are easy to understand. I’ve listened to a few other fitness pods and I would get inundated with fit-lingo and would get lost on what was being said. I also feel like me being in my 30s, I can relate to this couple more than some others I’ve tried with younger hosts.
-
Yang :)Thank you!!!If I still lived in Massachusetts, I would have 1000% attended their community gym. Since that’s not possible, I’ve been loving and greatly appreciating their podcasts, conversations and reflections. There have been many times in life where my attitude towards exercising and performance were not the healthiest. As I’ve grown older, I’m learning to embrace and celebrate the process and the realities of the ebbs and flows of life. Listening to such podcasts have been part of this healing! Thank you especially as leaders in the fitness community for sharing not only such important messages but also how your own thinking continues to evolve to support and celebrate everyone on their fitness journey 🤓

PascoPupRealistic AdviceLove the simple but profound advice they give in each episode.
-
JessimoyoBreath of fitness fresh airThis podcast makes you feel like a human who lives their life and values exercise and movement. All the tips and content are accessible, inclusive, realistic and reasonable. They talk about their everyday life and what that looks like with exercise and movement built in. How they talk through all topics related to food is always approached with awareness, kindness, and with flexibility. This podcast has helped me so much with being consistent and graceful in my approach to fitness.
-
TinaozSuch sound fitness advice!Really enjoy this podcast. Great tips and advice for those trying to lead an active, healthy life and none of the silliness that’s so pervasive in the fitness industry these days. Thank you, Jason and Lauren!
-
Lexie115Fun, light info about fitness and lifeThis couple is delightful. Their information is on point and thorough but they take everything lightly. Love their energy and look forward to every episode. They’ve definitely changed my rigid thinking about eating and fitness so that I enjoy it more.
-
MsGrueNon-toxic positivity and great informationJason and Lauren offer kind, positive advice on fitness for all levels of athlete. Love their awareness of how physical, emotional and just plain life stuff can affect both the time and will to exercise - there’s zero “no excuses!!!!” posturing here. They go out of their way to uplift others and promote fitness professionals (even the competition!) who have new and less-heard perspectives. Highly recommended!
-
HalfAHoneyPositive vibes all around!I look forward to this podcast each week! I enjoy listen to Jason and Lauren's discussions on keeping things balanced in the fitness world ! It’s so easy to get sucked into the latest trends in fitness and what is considered to be fit on social media and then only to feel bad about yourself in the end when you don’t live up to the standards. They really remind us that it’s all about health and functionality and overall wellness! I find myself grounded after listing to each episode. I also love their vibe as a couple, they are just enjoyable to listen to! Thanks for putting yourselves out there!
-
Shannon-NYCRecommend over other fitness podcastsStraight-forward and helpful advice as I’ve begun learning strength training for the first time at age 35. Appreciate Jason and Lauren’s positive, relatable spirit and professional podcasting production skills.
-
IAmCharlesLOLNotReallySuper-informative, refreshing, inclusive, motivatingFound this podcast via Jason and Lauren’s IG page. It’s so refreshing to find REASONABLE (!) fitness advice! They are super-informed in a lot of different modalities and share that knowledge in a very accessible way — they always share the “why” behind specific movements, which I find motivating. I also love how they share personal experiences that normalize the notion that missed workouts happen (because life happens!) and that it doesn’t need to derail your progress. Lastly they acknowledge that people have varying goals. They seem to make a conscious effort to articulate that everyone comes to fitness w different goals, ages, and abilities, etc., without being too heavy-handed, and I appreciate that.
-
Strive2B50&FitExcellent Podcast!Jason and Lauren willingly provide so much insight and valuable information regarding a more practical approach to how we can view fitness and health. People of all ages can benefit from listening to their podcasts! Through incorporating their own personal experiences/struggles into the various podcasts they are able to reach and help (probably more than they realize!) so many people in a positive way!
-
sharonfromjerseyEnjoy this podcast!Lauren and Jason give smart, no nonsense advice! Keep it up.
-
kbnaaPilates instructorExcellent, motivating podcast. Very realistic, positive, and reasonable messaging about fitness and exercise! I love listening.
-
Amy4582So Relatable!Jason and Lauren embody exactly what I want to be, fit but not some elite athlete. I love how real they are and how they are reasonable about their expectations and outlooks. I appreciate their insight and their ability to be vulnerable and share their own stories. Never stop doing what you’re doing because it’s making a big difference!
-
nicolesmithwebOh how I relate!I love this podcast. I discovered it when it first debuted and have been a weekly listener ever since. I love that you’re parents who juggle working, working out, sick kids, and all the in between. Oh how I relate! Keep up the great content and openness.
