Hi, my name is Emily. Welcome to “Ohhhh, I’m Lonely”! It’s my podcast about unpacking all the big feelings I have, that usually boil down to loneliness and disconnection from various aspects of my life from career, communities, loved ones, and sometimes just being plain ol' alone. This is where we talk about all the different places loneliness creeps its sweet self into and I try to understand what story that loneliness is trying to tell me. Makes Me Feel Seen and Safe

Loneliness comes in so many different shapes and forms, appears in so many places, and has so many dimensions: Emily covers it all. She is comforting and quirky and validating and wonderful in these episodes. I don’t work in the industry she does, but always find what she has to say insightful and relatable on a human level. Her and her guests discuss so many different obstacles that we face as individuals in today’s complex world. Her podcast reminds me that I’m not alone in my deep feelings and creates an accepting and beautifully vulnerable online community. OHH, I’m Lonely is a safe space that I always look forward to entering into.

Like a hug when you need one.

Emily is a fantastic host who takes the time to detail her experiences and the emotions connected to them in a way that is relatable, honest, and comforting. She has a unique way of celebrating highs, and identifying what can still be gained from the lows. Her episodes with guests are always engaging as her guests share where they’re at in varying careers and different life experiences. Would highly recommend this podcast to anyone who considers themselves a “feeler”, or just wants to feel a little less alone.

Inaccurate, subject, and description

I was looking for a podcast to help me with my loneliness and find some thing to be supportive. I listen to a couple of episodes from this particular podcast, hoping to find that, but I did not find that at all. I only heard discussions between two people regarding their careers as actors or musicians trying to find work. Absolutely nothing regarding the topic of loneliness. I found the description of this podcast very inaccurate, and was very disappointed.

Check This Totally Out!

Emily has created a really excellent space to explore the feeling of loneliness, which, by definition, makes it really hard to find people to relate to. Emily is a thoughtful and charming host, and her guests are all interesting and insightful. Would give ten stars if I could.
