    Imagine falling asleep to this
I fell asleep listing to this podcast and woke up to episode # 5 “Shave and a Haircut” I woke up TERRIFIED!! I always read or put on a podcast before bed. It’s been 2 weeks and it still messes me up when I think about it. This is a great horrid podcast. Just don’t fall asleep with it on.

I love this podcast. Excited about the Feed the Pig episode. It’s similar to the book the Black Farm. Richard Brake is sooooooooo perfect as Danny!

The Antiquarium episode 058: Zero Hours
I just finished the latest of your podcast from the Antiquarium of Sinister Happenings. It was one of my favorites. Romy Evans as Mom was fabulous. She really brought the character of Mom to life. Thank you Romy!

    Giving the Shopkeeper some love
I absolutely love this show!! I love the shopkeeper! Every time it starts I feel like I’m walking in and talking to an old friend due to how long I have been coming by! I do enjoy the progress the show has been going and I can’t wait for more.

    I Binged Every Episode…
Once I found your show I was hooked. I binged all of the shows and am now waiting with baited breath for the next episode. The stories grab your attention from the beginning and get your heart rate up in minutes. The voicemails are my favorite from past customers are one of my favorite quirks to the show. I can’t wait until I cross your stores entryway and leave with one of my own non-returnable items…

    Best horror anthology
Aug ‘24 Update: I like the show even more since my first review. It consistently gets better with each ep. However, the main purpose of my re-review is to PRAISE the answering machine message left in the most recent ep, Lot 054. Finally!!! A caller who does not leave the stale and predictable, “I know you don’t take returns, but can I pls return this?”. Brava, caller! Your message was super clever and creepy. Delivery was aces and the mini-plot could easily be the premise for an upcoming installment. 💀 OG Review: Love how each of the creepy stories are wrapped in descriptions of a weird little store. Thanks for taking up space in my subconscious. So good, I don’t even mind the ads!

    Sinister Happenings Abound. . .
If you are looking for a unique take on cursed/horrific objects, then you’ve come to the right place. Twisted stories with a fresh plot, mesmerizing host voice, and tales that may keep you up at night. Not for the faint of heart.

    Like stepping into a dream
I have loved the Antiquarium since my first visit, and have made frequent returns every time a new item arrives, and even often just to browse previous tales because they are so sincerely enjoyable and lovingly told. If you are a fan of old horror comics, anthology horror or spooky radio drama, and have the stomach for it, take a trip to the antiquarium and see if the proprietor can fond something just right for you.

    A Truly Spellbinding Horror Podcast
The Antiquarium is a horror podcast that masterfully blends eerie storytelling with atmospheric sound design. Each episode is a spine-chilling journey through tales of the macabre, delivered with impeccable voice acting and gripping narratives. The creators have an extraordinary talent for building suspense and invoking a sense of dread that lingers long after the episode ends. Perfect for fans of horror who crave a truly immersive experience. Highly recommend for late-night listening—if you dare!

    Top Notch Suspense and Horror!
Years ago I stumbled upon the NoSleep podcast and have used that as a bar for all other horror podcasts I come across. The Antiquarium not only meets that bar, it raised it again for all other horror podcasts! The voice acting, production, effects, etc really transport the listener into the shop and stories that are presented. If you like the Twilight Zone, Night Gallery, Tales From the Crypt or other horror anthologies, definitely check this out…if you dare!

If your looking for something uniquely different and spooky THIS IS THE PODCAST YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!! It’s unlike any other I’ve listened to! 100%!! Love the creators and hopefully we will have several seasons!!!

    Fantastic & Amazing
I’ve been following The Antiquarium for quite some time now. It reminds me of the old radio dramas like “Suspense”, Murder at Midnight”, “The Whistler” & many others. I can’t wait to see what else they come out with. Love this series.

    For any true horror fan
I listened to this podcast when it first aired while I was waiting for new episodes of my other podcasts and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and content that was delivered. Let me tell you that now the other podcasts wait as I always, ALWAYS, listen to this one first. From the dramatic and alluring storytelling, the horribly brilliant voice acting, to the ominous presence of the Antique Dealer himself that draws in this neat little package with laughs and chills ever time. Its gripping, and ever not afraid to show the wilds of fantasy in a most morbid state and keeps me coming back for more. I wholeheartedly appreciate all they put into it as it gives me such the thrill on my commutes as well as inspiration as an amateur writer myself. Once you start you're surely never to ask for an exchange nor a refund for your time spent with these amazing creators. I have recently joined the Obsidian Convenant and hope to hear my name listed on that beautiful plaque in the store in one of the most memorable awesome voices and compelling podcasts out there. 🤞🏻

    Love love love
The voice actors are amazing, and it’s a nice break from some of the other podcasts I listen to. I love creative storytelling, and this podcast has exactly that. Some of the stories have stuck with me for months.

    Horror Extravaganza!
This has become my favorite thing to listen to first thing before work, they have created what I think is the best podcast by far. It’s been interactive for listeners, along with their Patreon and merch. The sound is so good and I like how definitive the voice actors sound. They get amazing cameos from actors I’ve seen in some of my favorite horror movies. The sound effects really make it come alive and it’s just visceral at times and just so entertaining. The shopkeeper feels like a friend nowadays. It’s not just amazing for horror fans but people who like entertaining fiction.

    One of the best
Adore the narrator and the “calls” and naming the members. It’s fun!
  • Love. It but help
    Talk about sinister
I’ve never paid for a Patreon. This is the only show that I have paid for. I cannot wait for the next episode. I’m never shocked and this show shocks me to my core. I love the spooky sinister happenings. You won’t regret listening to the show you will be hooked.!!!!

    Nice
19/20 sound effects are a bit much but good podcast

    Isn’t for babies
This podcast tells stories that may have mature or shocking content and it’s up to the listener to look up trigger warnings themselves we don’t need our hands held. Sexual content, gore and death are part of some methods of storytelling and if you don’t like it don’t listen. This is a good show and the writing isn’t lazy because it’s shocking or triggers you.
  • Urmermaidmomma
    Eerie and enthralling
I drive tractors for hours and hours. I am not joking when I tell you I had just finished listening to the Four Hour Tape episode and my tractor short circuited and completely shut down, mid-field. No warning. Great content guys!

Why did it take me so long to find this?
It’s an amazing horror podcast, great concept, stories, and atmosphere. I have been listening to horror podcast for years and just discovered this! Please leave a review and rating and push this up, more people need to find it!

    What an awesome show
The show has great stories, expert production, and wonderful voice acting. I am so happy I found it.

    Mostly hit, sometimes miss
Most of these stories are really captivating and fun to listen to. However the narrators often over act in an almost unlistenable way. For example, in the most recent episode “Attention Shoppers”, the woman’s highly dramatized reading is cringey and prevents me from getting into the story line, and same with Trevor Shand inhaling sharply through his mouth every few words. Who talks like that in real life? It’s annoying. I think it would be a lot better if the actors didn’t read the stories in such an unrealistic way ETA since I left this review, that has stopped happening. Whether it’s a coincidence or not, I find it to be a great improvement and I’ve listened to and enjoyed every episode since.

    Must listen horror podcast
I have a toddler, watching horror movies uninterrupted is a thing of the past for me…but this podcast is a perfect substitute! The way the voice actors play their part, the set up of the “shop” it’s a must listen. I listen to creepy, scare you to sleep, horror hill and a handful of others (all also amazing) but this one is by far my favorite
  • Asurius
    Well this podcast WAS good
But I’m gonna have to drop it down two stars for use of sexual assault as horror in the newest episode, which at time of this review is 038, because that is not only lazy writing but there wasn’t even proper trigger warnings for it! It’s such a shame because before this episode this was genuinely such a good podcast that picked good story’s to tell that really encapsulated good horror. But SA as horror is just so blatantly disgusting and shows a lack of respect for it audience.

    Great stories!
I absolutely love this podcast. The sound design is so immersive. They have such a variety of stories. The actors they get are all incredible. This has become my top podcast and I hope more people discover them. You can tell how much time and effort goes into each story.
  • NoobFresh
    Not as good as.
The Podcast got off to a great start, then I started noticing a lot of stories that have been played out on multiple other horror/creepypasta/scary pods. I thought maybe I’d still give it a chance but since I’ve found that the quality of the writing never really improved or got back to the level of quality in the first 10 or so episodes. It started with potential but didn’t quite live up to expectations. There are much better podcasts out there in the genre, yes, even newer programs such as this.
  • originalUnDeRDoG!
    Too many ads
Ad “breaks” in the middle of the stories. 👎

    The best
Yes I agree this the best scary podcast ever! The sound effects are amazing and beyond! I haven’t heard anything like it. The voices of the characters are always great and a perfect fit! It is the absolute best! I’m so glad I found this show. I love the narrator at the store. lol Keep it coming. Can’t give enough praise!🤣😱😍🥳🤩

The fact that this isn’t a 5 star is blowing my mind!!! It’s a must listen, I haven’t heard a story that hasn’t given me the goosebumps or heebie-jeebies lol truly has been terrifying! Can’t wait for more!
  • Jsjsjsjjxhakjxidneiajhx
    Great stories
Great stories but I wish they were longer, feels like 40% of the episodes are ads.
