    Pure joy!
This pod is so fun. I look forward to finding out what the themed snack/drink will be. I love revisiting childhood movies through the lens of people who have never seen them.

    Love this podcast!
Always a great time with Erin, Bran, and Dan! I look forward to this podcast every Friday and wish I could try all the delish dishes (red velvet cupcakes are wonderful any time of day if you ask me)!

    Best Disney Podcast
I love listening to this podcast everyday. The chaos that is Erin, Bran and Dan is never boring. It is amazing that Bran ever gets through the summaries with Erin and Dan interjecting comments throughout. I have also started a list to follow along with you guys and on most of the top 10 I have the same movies as Dan, but outside the top 10 our lists vary widely. Doing my part to get you to 300 because I need to know there will be more hilarity after the DCOMs. Disney channel 26 - Metro-Detroit.

a very happy late 90s kid
as a late 90s kid, I have been not so patiently waiting for these guys (and gal) to cover what Bran very correctly called the “golden age of DCOMs” and the HSM episode did not disappoint! So happy to have found some fellow kindred souls (and Dan) that really appreciate and love these movies. Consider me locked in for the rest of this journey!

Is Dan watching the same movie?
Are we sure Dan is watching the same movies as Bran and Erin? He knows these are Disney movies not Oscar nominees right? I’ll bet he yells at the neighborhood kids to get off his lawn.

Even if DCOMS aren’t your thing this podcast should be!
Did I ever think that in my 40s I would now be watching every DCOM there is and laughing along with Dan, Bran and Erin? No, this was definitely not on my bingo card. Am I happy that it was added? When watching motocrossed and Johnny Tsunami, it’s a resounding yes. When watching lucky dog, buffalo dreams, and several others, I am questioning my life’s choices LOL but seriously this podcast is great and even when the movies are so ridiculous and cringy (I see you Tiger Cruise!) I’m still laughing, especially with the take it to the tapes. Let’s get to 300 reviews to keep this going!!

    1. Smart House 2. Johnny Tsunami 3. Cadet Kelly
This review is coming from a fellow Disney Channel 24 , Metro Boston kid (what up, Erin!) DCOM Descendants has helped me relive some of my favorite childhood movies, with a healthy dose of adult cynicism. Even though your reviews have now reached a period of movies that I haven’t not seen, I continue to listen to join the fun. I can’t say it’s inspired me to watch any new ones, but you have almost convinced me with Go Figure. Also, as a former high school girls hockey player, we did have girls and boys play during the same season. This worked well because there was one rink in town, and three schools each with some combination of JV/Varsity/Girls/Boys teams to fit into the schedule. I’m sure you can imagine who got prime ice time. I recommend this podcast, 5/5 Hockey Stick cocktails.

    Always a good time!
I don’t care what Bran, Dan, and producer Erin talk about, I will listen, like, subscribe etc because I know it will be a good time!! (Ps- Never watched a DCOM in my life 😅)

    Friday Funtimes
I’m older than Dan by several years so ancient to Bran and Erin (throwback to 1st couple of episodes)! Thus not a DCOM viewer, also we couldn’t afford Disney channel! But this pod keeps me laughing and I feel like maybe I have seen the movie in an even better way! Longtime listener to DTH and a Morning person, so why not add more of the gang to my weekly pod listening- and I need the laughs on Friday’s (& thru the week w/ the other listens). Thanks! Keep DCOMing it up! Let’s get to 300!

Love this show! Shout out to Erin and the delish segment!

Love this podcast even though I grew up without Disney channel and have only seen a couple of the movies!

    All Above Board
I am around Dan’s age (old) so the DCOMs weren’t on my radar when they came out. Even though I haven’t watched them and still have no desire to watch them, I thoroughly enjoy the podcast. Pixel Perfect seems absolutely unhinged and I have never laughed so hard as I did when listening to your review of it. Keep up the good work, halfway to 300. Hot sauce is family.
  • bgjbui
    Love this show
I love the show and the hosts looking back at these movies with adult eyes and reminiscing while also questioning what most of these movies were thinking. I can’t wait for the DCOM Daily Minute and Bran and Erin hopefully forcing Dan to watch Hillary Duff’s entire filmography. It’s always a Hillary Duff Moment!
  • Alison2848
    Great!
I’m the same age as Bran and Erin but I never watched much Disney Channel. I’ve still been loving the pod and can’t wait to get to more movies I’ve actually seen. Motocrossed was a 10/10, thanks for not leading me astray

    Hot Sauce Is Family
I LOVE THIS POD! I’m closer to Dan’s age, so my reference is “The Color of Friendship” era and I haven’t seen many of the movies. But I love hearing Bran and Erin do a “now and then” analysis on their favorites from childhood. Sometimes you can’t go back to your hometown Disney channel, but you can have some great laughs along the way.

    It’s Great!
Love the show. Love the bits. Hoping you get to 300 reviews!

The chaotic DCOM reviews I need in my life. DAN NEEDS TO WATCH LIZZIE MACGUIRE!

    Great podcast
Love the podcast! I watched all the DComs growing up so I love hearing the reviews. Motocross was one of my favorites but I also liked Rip Girls 🙈. Let’s get to 300 to keep the podcast going!

    Such a fun time!
All-time #1 best Cotton-Eyed Joe podcast! Could use more Disney channel movies. Doing my part to get us to 300. :) I grew up watching and loving the DCOMs, and since becoming a parent, have introduced many of my favorites to my kids. It’s an absolute blast to hear them broken down by this crew! A big YES to Motocrossed being amazing, although I also love Double Teamed, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. My only wish is that this pod be solidly PG so I could listen with my kids :) Shout out (cue Dan - “Shout OUT”) to channel 32 in Tulsa 🎉

    The trek to 300 reviews
Doing my part. Always a fun listen even when you don’t have time to watch all these movies you haven’t seen due to all the Hallmark movies. Love the rapport among the hosts.

    Always a fun listen!

    Delightful, charming, hilarious and ridiculous
Without question, this is an absolute gem of a podcast with three of the most delightful, charming, hilarious and absolutely ridiculous in all the best ways hosts. That said, cautionary note to my fellow Gen X-ers: should you listen to this podcast? Absolutely. There is not a bad day that cannot be made better by Bran’s always ill-fated attempts to get through a synopsis unscathed by vocabulary or side conversating, taunting cohosts. Should you ever watch any of the actual movies reviewed in this podcast: absolutely not. No matter how many times Bran calls Brink the best movie ever, do not be fooled. You will finish and immediately wish you had rolled around in thumbtacks and taken a bath in lemon juice instead, or, worse, watched Space Jam starring the Looney Tunes. BUT, this podcast is as great as the D-Coms are bad. Will it be even better when Dan realizes the only appropriate responses to the delish segment are, “thanks for making this, Erin!” or, better yet, “thanks for making this, Erin, it’s delicious!” Sure. But in the mean time, this podcast is still a sure fire balm to whatever emotionally ails you. GIVE IT A LISTEN!!

Hallmark Boys (+Erin) have done it again
I could listen to Bran and Dan talk about anything, and I have, but combining them with DCOMs? Perfection. Heart (Bran) + Reason (Dan) + bits = guaranteed good time. Erin is the perfect mix of the boys and excellent mediator. All in on this one P.S I was one of the people who saw Can of Worms when it first aired, and my DAD loved it so much he bought the VHS of it, and eventually the DVD which he still has

    A Great Time
I grew up watching DCOM’s and am around the same age as Bran and Erin so when they speak of how they felt as a kid watching I relate so much. I mean we were 8 and they were great after all. However- as a 34 year old the more Dan talks about his feelings watching it today the more I totally understand. I find myself waiting to see how he reviews before I decided if my kids can watch them. If you are looking for a great time that will have you laughing the whole episode this podcast is for you. Also, Bran sorry to tell you but Brink is not the greatest movie of all time. I have Johnny Tsunami at the top of my list.
  • SWSshoup
It’s like fun with friends you’ve never met!
Love listening to Bran, Dan, and Erin talk about DCOMs and all the other random stuff that comes up. I feel like these are my people even though I’ve never met them. I would probably listen to them review anything.
  • SightsUnseen418
    Shoulda Reviewed This Months Ago
DCOM Descendants is late 90’s-2010’s flashback perfection. Am I the same age as Dan? Yes. Was I too old to be watching DCOM’s? Possibly. But as someone with younger siblings who also babysat a lot, and knew people in DCOM’s…Disney Channel was constantly on. Listening to Erin, Bran, and Dan dive into these nostalgic tv movies has been such a delight…even if some should maybe stay forgotten. I can’t wait to hear more and more over time. You don’t need to know a thing about Disney Channel Original Movies to have an absolutely blast listening to DCOM Descendants. Sorry this review took way to long to post. If you’ve read this far, idk why you aren’t already listening.

    Perfect Nostalgia
Love Bran, Dan, and Erin from Deck The Hallmark. Grew up watching Disney Channel movies and love reconnecting with them through these hilarious hosts.

    LIFE Cereal
The best cereal sans-milk is LIFE cereal. I can’t explain how or why, but you’ve got to trust me. There was an entire month of high school wherein I ate life cereal dry out of a plastic baggy on the drive to school and it hit every. time. Shoutout to Channel 25 in Nashville✌🏼

    The Best DCOM Podcast
I’ve listened to Deck the Hallmark for years (soon to be 5 years❤️), so I knew I would love this podcast. Erin is such a great addition to the group for this! I made the mistake of listening to the ‘Twas the Night episode during work, and ended up laughing out loud at least 3 times, but it was worth it to now know so much about Cotton-eyed Joe. Channel 290!

    Fun for all
While I’m not into dcom movies outside of Johnny tsunami and the Xmas ones, this show is a blast even if you don’t watch the movies. Check it out!

    Best DCOM Pod!
This might be the only DCOM pod I've listened to, but can say with confidence it's the best. Does any other pod come up with their own DCOM acronym? I honestly don't know, but probably not. And as much as it pains me to say, since I grew up with these movies like Bran and Erin did, Dan actually has the best top 10 list right now.
  • ChicaLisaTX
    Big fun maybe 7?
These movies sound insane. But I love y’all talking about them!

If you love DTH then you’ll LOVE DCOM descendants!
I get to relive my childhood listening to you all talk about the AMAZING world of DCOM! I never realized how many DCOMs I missed as a kid until I started listening to this podcast. So added bonus is now I know which DCOMs I can still skip based on the synopsis/discussion you provide! (I’m talking to you Can of Worms!) My knowledge of DCOMs ranges from my childhood and my children’s childhood, I am looking forward to the podcasts based the pocket of DCOMs I completely missed circa 2005-2011! As a kid my top 3 was easily Brink, Motocrossed and Cadet Kelly! I am excited for you to hit the 2012s and on so I can get my teen to listen with me in the car when we hit her childhood movies!!! (Super excited for Radio Rebel, Teen Beach and Descendants!) Erin, your list is by far the most relatable to “childhood me”! Are you as curious as I am on which ones Taylor Swift enjoyed as a kid??? Thanks for offering a fun podcast to enjoy during my lunch break at work! Also shout out to DTH and Diss List for easy listening fun! PS: I vote you review all 3 Mighty Ducks plus the recent series (sadly not renewed) on Disney+ because they are perfect!

Have only watched a couple of DCOM’s but I listen every week - so no Dan we have to keep this going.

Love reliving my favorite Disney Channel original movies! Great work you guys!!!

    Luck of the Podcast
I grew up with all of these DCOMs, and it’s so fun to relive them with y’all! Some are proving to be more memorable than others, but this crew is always a blast. Disney was channel 45 in Northeast Arkansas.

A Fun Listen No Matter What
As someone a little too old to have watched all but the oldest DCOMs when they first came out, only saw Smart House and the original Halloween Town, and no others this show is still a great listen. And may even get me to maybe watch some. It is fun to hear Daniel give an adult first time watchers opinion on some of the crazy movies while Brandon and Erin try to defend their childhood idea of what these movies are. Finally got to give a shout out channel 25 in the LA area for Disney Channel.

    Obsessed with this podcast
This podcast is so nostalgic and has made me laugh out loud a few times! Also love that I can listen while I take care of my baby (no bad language). I’m hoping they might do some of the old old DCOMs like The Paper Brigade & Wish Upon a Star eventually!

    First ever review
I've never left a review of a podcast before but I really want Dan to get to watch the masterpieces that are My Date with the President's Daughter, Wish Upon a Star, & Model Behavior, so here we are. I'm also starting the petition to add The Lizzie McGuire Movie to the list if you hit 300 reviews. Waiting with baited breath for the Motocrossed episode as it is tied with Johnny Tsunami for my favorite DCOM 💅 Channel 35 in New Mexico

    Love this podcast
I really enjoy this podcast. I convinced one of my kids to watch it and they love it too. It’s a lot of fun revisiting movies we watched together in the 2000s. Thanks Bran, Dan, and Erin for this weekly gem! Wendysbw

    Fun Time
Even though there is a similar podcast with an actual Cheetah Girl, I still choose to listen to this one. These movies are my childhood and I love reliving them through you goobers.
  • MelissaNDV
    SO HELP ME GOD
If you don’t review My Date With The President’s Daughter WHAT ARE WE EVEN DOING?! I need to hear Erin confirm that every self-identifying-female wanted that pink velvet dress with a burning passion. Love you, boys + Erin! DCOM out!
  • Wewilder
    Love DCOMS!
Love this podcast! I didn’t have cable growing up so I only got to watch Disney Channel when babysitting which is how I watched the most of the DCOMS. As a teenager I enjoyed them as much as the kids, and it was a good time every time! Thanks for the great podcast! P.S. Idono what channel Disney channel was back in the day but today it’s 880.

    Where’s Perry?
I absolutely love this pod! The guys and Air-on (Eh-ron?) are great. It is a great mix of generational callbacks and “is it great or were you eight” commentary. Needs more Rigg, as all things do. My son asks me every time a new one is released if it is the Phineas and Ferb one yet, so I need to know if y’all are doing it! I’ll listen to almost anything Bramble Jam related, keep up to good work.
